User Image - - -.: Getting Acquainted :.
User Image

- - - - - - - - - - Acquaintances

It's very important to introduce yourself when you enter the guild. This way people can get to know you, which makes your stay here a ton easier than if people don't know you. Everyone here is most likely willing to be friendly to you and welcome you with open arms (in a way not like a creeper). These people you can call your acquaintances, because if they're nice to you, that means they're good people to ask questions and bug!

- - - - - - - - - - Introductions Thread

A thread set up since near the opening of the guild. It's the perfect place to give everyone a fair hello and tell a bit about yourself so we can get to know you!

- - - - - - - - - - The OoC (Out of Character)

A general thread used more for discussing nearly any topic imaginable; it's become more of a lounge than anything. The perfect place to introduce yourself, since everyone usually looks there first when they come to the guild.

User Image- - -.: Navigating the Guild :.
User Image

The guild is a huge place, so it's easy to understand it can be frightening at first. It gets much easier to navigate with time, but it all can be explained simply here. Mind you, this section does not cover in close to everything that's available here, so you'll need to navigate about after reading this to figure out some more things on your own. And, of course, if you have any questions you can ask in the Questions thread or PM a moderator.

- - - - - - - - - - Main Forum

The main forum is the forum with all the important threads in it, including the Announcements, this guide, the OoC, the Introductions thread, the questions thread, and many other great things. It's the forum for general information and assistance. All the Stickies and Announcements here should be looked at sometime, since they're all very important. The Profile Approval thread will be used often, so make sure you know it well.

- - - - - - - - - - Role Playing Forums

These sub forums are the ones that are used for role playing. They include all the important topics for characters to be developed in. Of course, each sub forum has it's own theme and specialty, so it's good to know about each of them. If you want a detailed explanation of all the role playing sub forums, view it here. (Coming Soon!) Here's a list of all the sub forums that fall under this category;

- - - - -•School Grounds •Dormitory • Classes • Town

- - - - - - - - - - Informative Forums

These sub forums are the ones that hold a lot of information. They are the ones that will be consulted for information that would not be held in the main forum. That's really all there is to them; they aren't that thrilling, but they sure are important! The sub forums that fall under this category are;

- - - - -• Guild Bulletin • Archives • Profiles

- - - - - - - - - - Secret Forums

These are the ones viewable to mods' eyes only! We'll leave you up to guess what's inside them, though it's nothing really that exciting. Forums that fall under this category are;

- - - - -• The Student Council Office • Disposal •

Note Only the sub forums the Guild are listed here. There are more sub forums in the Guild, but they are not listed here. To see a list of them, visit the Sub Forum Explanations thread (Coming Soon!).

- - - - - - - - - - Character Race Selecting

Your character's class is probably the most important part of the character. The list of available classes can be found in the Races thread. Remember that all of the classes have various Roleplay, looks and traits. For example; a vampire has more strength than humans and that Nekos love fish. Also, it may not be a bad idea to head on over to the OoC thread to ask other members' opinions on what race fits your role play style. You'll have to give them some information about your likes of dislikes in role playing though!

- - - - - - - - - - Filling Out the Profile Sheet

Once you've gone through list of races and figured out which one you like the best, you'll need to fill out the profile sheet for it. Those can be found in the Profile Sheets thread. You can go to the How to Fill Out a Profile Sheet (Coming Soon!) thread for a detailed tutorial on how to fill out a profile sheet. Remember; each profile sheet is totally different, so don't think you can use a "Vampire" profile sheet for a "Human"! It doesn't work that way at all! If you have trouble filling out your profile sheet, PM a moderator with your question and they'll do their best to answer your question in a quick and efficient manner. Don't get frustrated if they don't understand your question or don't respond right away! The moderators try their best.

- - - - - - - - - - Posting and Approval

Once you've filled out your profile sheet, you'll need to post it for approval by someone of the moderator staff. You should post your profile in the Profile Approvals thread so that someone can approve it. Please do not PM a profile to a moderator; that's what that thread is for! Once all is approved, you're ready to make a role play post!

User Image

Note If a moderator denies your profile, they should offer suggestions on what to change to get it fixed. Fix it and it should get approved. If you think you're right and they're wrong, PM them about it. Be nice though, or they won't be nice in return! Moderators are meant to keep everything fair in the guild, so they just follow the rules, so don't feel like they hate you if your profile is denied.

- - - - - - - - - - Choosing a Destination

Finding a destination to role play is a very important part of your role play quest. If you feel happy and take your character to somewhere dark you might have a hard time role playing then. Same goes for if you feel like making your character have a fun day at the beach and send them to somewhere freezing cold. Choosing the destination of your character is a fun part of role playing. That's true especially here, since you'll get the chance to go to all sorts of fun and unique places! If you don't know if your character can go into a sub forum due to class limitations, view the Sub Forum Explanations thread (Coming Soon!) for a list on where you can and cannot go. When you want to choose a destination, look at the names of places and find one that looks interesting to you. When you find one that sounds interesting, read the description of the area. The descriptions are usually vague, so if it says "there's a pond" you can imagine all you want; it could have a dock for fishing, it could be filled with lily pads, or even piranhas! It's up to the role player most of the time. Also, if no place suits your role play needs, you can make your own! See the Making a Role Play Destination thread (Coming Soon!) for more information.

- - - - - - - - - - Post Construction Basics

There are two important parts to a post; the type, and the literacy. Starting with the first one (type), you'll need to make sure that what you role play about has meaning to you and the character. Do something that interests you, and don't be afraid to be creative at all! The more creative and detailed you are, the more enjoyable your posts are to read. Finally, literacy is a very important part of a role play post. We look up to literacy and very much down at illiteracy. Literacy means you take you're time to make a nice, decent sized post for your character. This means your role play post is at least 100 words in length. Though you don't always have to make one as long as this, it is highly regarded you do strive to make one near the size. You can look at other members' role play posts for ideas on how to structure your own post. If you ever have a question, feel free to PM a moderator about it, as always.

User Image- - -.: Important Links :.
User Image

- - - - - - - - - - Official Guild Announcements
A thread listing all the most important updates in the guild. You don't have to go and read through them; just make sure to read an announcement when it's posted.
- - - - - - - - - - Member Announcements & Achievements
Have an accident in the family? Let us know your happy and sad moments in the guild and out. This thread is strictly for members wanting to make an announcement. No announcement is wrong here, unless it's spam or breaks a rule.
- - - - - - - - - - Leave of Absence
A thread used when a member or moderator must be gone from the guild for an extended period of time. Please, if you're going to be away longer than about two days, leave a Leave of Absence. It won't be counted as you leaving the guild; just taking a little leave for the time you must be gone. An example would be a family vacation.

- - - - - - - - - - Literate A very good roleplayer who shows that they are able to properly use grammar, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, ect. A literate roleplayer knows when long introductions are appropriate, understands the place for short one or two sentence posts and keeps in character emotions separate from their own.
- - - - - - - - - - Semi-Literate A decent roleplayer who has an "OK" grasp of grammar, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, ect. A Semi-Lit roleplayer typically writes (sometimes excessively) long introductions several paragraphs in length and posts of up to a paragraph and longer.
- - - - - - - - - - Illiterate A terrible roleplayer who disregards all grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. Their spelling is usually equal to chatspeak. An illiterate roleplayer typically writes one paragraph for their intro, and around one or two sentences per post.
