If I were to come visit you where you currently live, what would you show me? What places would we go see? Are there any places in your town/city/residence that make it different from anywhere else in the world?

examples: restaurants, landmarks, shops, streets, houses, museums, etc.

You are allowed to take me anywhere and show me anything.

I live in sunny california, south california lol. So naturally, we would hit the beach. Then. We would go camping in the mountains, maybe run across some wild critters to take pics off. Or we could go to the desert and I can show you what REAL heat is biggrin orrrr umm. We'd totally hit the boardwalk. FO SHO. And all the stores. We could even go to Hollywood. XD AND DISNEYLAND. AND SEA WORLD. AND SAN DIEGO ZOO. YUS.

biggrin And then hit some malls or go to a space museum or something... OR THE TAR PITS YES. :> That's what I would do if I had a lot of money and a car to drive us around in. XD

@Hisaki: That would be awesome. smile I'm originally from Northern California and it's been quite awhile since I've gotten to go to SoCal. (I've been to the desert once; I actually liked it in a weird way.) 4laugh

Canadia has lots of things, and depending what time of year you come, it'd be totally different. XD;

In my home town, there is a lake, which we skate on in the winter and swim in in the summer. Being wedged between two lakes means lots of snow... but the local restaurants always have something good for the season. <3 We have ski resorts and whatnot too... so you can go snowboarding... XD;
Fall is my favourite time of year though... We have people from all over come take buses and view the fall leaves up here with our abundance of trees.
We also have maple syrup. Maple Syrup is delicious.

I would say come to New Hampshere but the thing is...it's really not worth it...unless you go up to northen NH and on on a bunch of mountain tours then yeah...but other then that don't really bother...unless you plan on living there...it is rather peaceful

I'm in VA. If I were still at home, I'd take you to the hookah bar where I usually hang out. It's full of cool people. And we could go to the river near my house and go camping on the island in the middle of it.
I'm at college now, only 45 minutes from home... I'm not really sure what's interesting here yet.

@Sho: I've never been to a hookah bar before; once word got out that I have severe asthma, none of my theatre people wanted to take me anywhere near those places. I do want to have the experience at least once, even though I probably won't smoke anything. xp I hope you find something interesting located at or near your college. smile

@D: Ha ha. XD But you guys have the Maury show tapings in Connecticut! (I almost always for get the "c" before the first "t" in Connecticut because I never pronounce it.)

I enjoy this topic 3nodding

I'm from Minnesota! It's called the land of 10,000 lakes, so I'd probably take you to one of them. Then we happen to have the Mall of America, so I might take you there. Or First Avenue for a show (it's where Prince debuted, you know).

That rhymed, totally on accident. Anyway, continuing on.

My favorite site is this park in downtown St. Paul, but only at night. It looks down on the Mississippi river. You can see all the city's lights, as well as the lights of the boats reflecting of the river. It always feels strangely peaceful, even if there are always cars driving by.

I'd tell you to come in the late spring or summer though. The winters are just too cold for my liking...

I totally don't live in Toronto, but I just came back from a trip to Canada and the Pacific Mall in Toronto is awesome. I'd take you there, 7+hours of driving and all. XD

Where I live in NJ, hm...there probably isn't anything terribly exciting. Which suits me, actually, because I like the quiet and I don't like running around everywhere and anywhere, either. We do have a pretty nice mall (it's my favorite besides Pacific Mall out of all the malls I've been to) and I know some really good Chinese food places if you like that. And then I'd drag us to some pet shop and fawn over the hamsters and puppies.
