General Overview
Rikujin is very well versed in most forms of combat, which makes him a danger in any situation. His specialties on the battlefield include Sword Combat (Eskrima and forms of Wushu) and his ability with his Hollowfication. He has high speed and boasts a very large amount of Reiatsu in his system. Cold on the battlefield, Rikujin is warm when in casual settings.
Appearance Info
Rikujin is half-Caucasian half-Japanese, with very lightly tanned skin, which bears more resemblance to his Caucasian heritage. He has blond hair, which reaches his chin, and azure eyes that match his Reiatsu. Rikujin is 6'1", making him above average height for people in general. He is lean, but well toned with stringy muscles. His shoulders aren't broad, but aren't narrow and are therefore average. Rikujin usually wears a pensive expression upon his face, which adds to his mystery.
Rikujin's outfit does not match the usual Arrancar uniform. He wears a black hakama, a black vest, and a sleeveless white robe top. He wears long black fingerless gloves with blue designs that match his reiatsu's color. He also wears a black belt and a white sash.

Spirit: Fuuteiichi takes the form of an azure wind spirit. His body is long and skinny, and has a bat-like head, which extends back with long ears. His hands end in very long, claw-like fingers.
A warrior, like Rikujin, he is a handy adviser in the face of battle. He and Rikujin view one another as comrades in an ongoing battle called life, which makes their bond strong.

Rikujin's Zanpakuto is 38 inches long in total. Its blade is 28 inches long with a 10 inch handle. The tsuba is 2 inches wide, and is the shape of the intersection of a Venn Diagram, with 2 curved prongs coming out in opposite directions on each side of his tsuba..
Shikai:
When Rikujin calls his Shikai, his Katana changes into a pair of bladed tonfa. The blades of said tonfa conform to the ulnas of Rikujin's arms, extending past his elbows Eight Inches, where it becomes an inch thicker. Rikujin has the ability to use the blunt ends of the tonfa as handles, therefore allowing him to wield these blades as Dual-Swords, should the need arise.
Fuuteiichi has the ability of general Wind manipulation, which includes the ability to summon gusts with his blades, send slashes, or fire high-pressure air blasts from the blunt ends of his tonfa.
Rikujin's wind slash and gust attacks retain their optimal strength up to 50 yards, while his high-pressure air blasts are most effective within 15 yards.
At its optimal strength, Rikujin's slash attack can break through a Vice-Captain Level Shinigami's Bakudou #39 - Enkosen with relative ease, along with other barrier techniques of that level. Rikujin's gust is capable of negating Kidou & Reiatsu based attacks of #58 or lower for those RPCs of Vice-Captain level. Rikujin's air blast attack, within optimal range, can break through a barrier technique of a level equivalent to a #60 with relative ease, though the attack will not damage those being protected by said barrier..
Bankai: "Fuuteiichi no Kouhou" [Wind Origin's Destination]
When Rikujin calls his Bankai, the blades of his shikai turn into pure wind, only visible due to Rikujin's reiatsu. The result of this increases Rikujin's wind affinity to allow more devastating force in his attacks, as well as increasing his wind's cutting power.
The optimal range of effectiveness of Fuuteiichi's long-range techniques in Bankai increase to 100 yards. The power of Rikujin's Zanpakuto techniques increases by some amount. His slash attack can break up to #80 Level Barriers with slight difficulty, but rather easily when using his Hollow Mask. His gust can negate up to #75 attacks with, again, slight difficulty, but ease in Hollow Release. His high-pressure blast can break #81 and higher, but cannot damage those being protected by barriers of that calibre.

Having been saturated with Hollow reiatsu for such a long time, Rikujin became a Naturally-Formed Shinigami/Hollow Hybrid. Like most innner Hollows, he is referred to by the reverse of Rikujin's name. For the sake of Romanization, he is referred to as Nijukil. Nijukil, in his hollow form, takes the shape of a humanoid Knight. As such, the mask fragment that forms upon Rikujin's face when called upon appears as the visor from a Knight's Helmet. When combining either his Shikai or Bankai techniques with his Hollow powers, Rikujin can create Wind-Cero's, which take on the characteristics of his Zanpakuto techniques.

Rikujin's life in Soul Society is mostly a mystery. Before his admission into the Shinigami Academy, Rikujin came from the 74th District of the Southern Alley of the Rukongai, known for, like all high-numbered districts, its lawlessness. Due to his origins, most of his teachers and peers believed him to be a brute. However, after obtaining experience with Rikujin, most found that he was quite tame, though he never really showed emotion. Rikujin was polite and attentive, answering only when called upon. He was very much the perfect student.
However, when it came to practical combat training with dummies, Rikujin was no less than a monster. His combat style was non-existent, usually swinging his blade wildly, much to the dismay of his instructors, who had also witnessed his near-pristine classroom conduct. Many of the instructors began to doubt whether Rikujin would be able to graduate from the academy. Rikujin's only redeeming quality in combat training was when the training was put into use. Rikujin's combat instincts were excellent, showing it on multiple occasions during battles with Hollow, using his body and movements to deceive his targets. This redemption of character was good enough to pull Rikujin through the academy. Upon his exit from the Academy, Rikujin found that he needed to make a name for himself, quite literally. He decided upon the name Katsurou, for it seemed to command quite a bit of respect around the Gotei 13
Even though Rikujin graduated from the Academy, a computer error failed to assign him to a Squad. This caused Rikujin to wander about the Squads, never finding a home in the Gotei 13. Observing the Squads, he picked up many of the skills of more advanced Shinigami, including Kidou, and several combat styles.
During a crisis affecting Earth, Rikujin was hauled along with a battalion for a combat mission by mistake. During the chaos, Rikujin somehow was taken to Hueco Mundo, where he could get no communication out to his comrades, not that any would know who he was. The error that caused his odd position in the Gotei 13 came to be a curse, as it was soon obvious that nobody would be coming to get him. Rikujin forged a strong bond with his Zanpakuto, Fuueiichi, who would be his only ally in Hueco Mundo.
Having to find ways to nourish himself in Hueco Mundo, Rikujin resorted to eating Hollow Meat, which saturated his system with the reiatsu of the indigenous beings. This consistent intake of Hollow Reiatsu would eventually cause his transition to Vizard-hood.
Rikujin estimates that he had been living in Hueco Mundo for approximately 200 years, during which he achieved Bankai, and succumbed to, and subdued his inner Hollow.
