I find these sooo weird, but really cool at the same time;
Hologram concerts! :O They've mostly been made popular by Japan and their Vocaloids (of course >A>), but others have experimented with them. The images are created by projecting a 3D image on to mirror screens (or, in some cases, mist screens). That image bounces off the double mirror (or mist particles) to create a sense of depth, movement, mass and realism to the viewer.

Here's some footage of the British-made animated band, Gorillaz. The Gorillaz are kinda.... DIFFERENT. Anyway, they cuss sometimes, and one of the band members is in his tighty whities, so if you don't wanna hear or see that, don't click. XD
