Demon of Elru gave me a go signal for this one so, yeah. As the title reads, this is for RP with a Harmonian setting. Since the Defense force and the Zexen Knights seem to have a thread all their own, I was thinking that mebbe the Harmonians needed one, too. whee ----- I won't take any onelining here (He walked into the room and stared. [end of post]) and neither will I take the script form of posting (*walks into the room and stares* [end of post]) Sorry about being rather elitist but sometimes, I just hafta... ----- Your character doesn't have to be a bishop or even a member of the clergy. Fancharries accepted muchly. Post stats maybe before making first post. Maximum of three charries per person Depends if you think you can handle that. 3nodding Let's try ta get this RP going, ne? xp
Characters Taken -Sasarai (Sey) -Caiser Khylsoul (Sey) -Garou Seth (Demon of Elru) -Stella Marquis (Dynast Metallium)
(Maybe we can get started already? Whada the two of you think?)

Thanks muchly! Here's Caiser's stats
Name: Caiser Khylsoul Gender: Male Age: 17 Occupation: Acolyte Weapon: Sangreal (Staff) Runes: RH: Earth Rune LH: Water Rune Physical Description: Stands around 5'1/2, shorter than most of the others in training. Hair colour remains a shade of dirty blonde which make his rather amethyst eyes stick out. For his clothes, think Sasarai's uniform for Suiko2 (yes, big poofy hat included). His hat's kinda large for him and flops over his eyes, on occasions obstructing his view. His uniform's several sizes too big, too. So much that his fingers barely peep from the sleeves. His large robes only make his frail form even smaller. Personality: Caiser's rather scared of people, though. He's the quiet type who shies away from strangers. When spoken to by higher members of the clergy, he stands at attention and barely speaks. When asked to speak, he tends to whisper. If he has nothing better to do, he's usually seen sweeping or doing menial chores. His personal hero is the bishop Sasarai and one day hopes to become a bishop worthy of the rank of his idol. History: Caiser was raised in your typical well-to-do Harmonian family. His father had high expectations of him and sent him to apply for the clergy at the mere age of 12. Unlike his father, Caiser wasn't eager to play the politics game and is content helping out with the little things to be done around the One Temple. Cai showed high proficiency for magic but seemed reluctant to use it. --------------- And I doubt you guys need an introduction for Sasarai seeing as he's been in two Suiko games as well as the gaidens... But I HAVE been RPing him for a few months now...

Yes~! Finally an RP that comes from the country that I love and worship the most!
(Yes, I have a Harmonian fetish. Deal with it, buster)
Let's see....my stats:
Name: Stella Marquis Gender: Female Age: 19? Around there- never ask a girl her age. Occupation: Temple Knight Weapon: Xansviera {sword} -affixed with Exertion Rune Runes: RH: Earth Rune LH: Killer Rune Physical Description: Blonde, blue eyes (as expected of all high-ranked Harmonians affiliated with the higher castes). In short, imagine how Lena from the gaidens looks like, and you have her uniform. Personality: High stickler for cleanliness (she is horrified by anything that remotely resembles litter, and carries towellettes around), spends most of her time lounging in the library, much to the fury of her superiors (in which this case may be the bishops and the priests), fiercly loyal to her country, sometimes enjoys a good joke at other's expense.

Well since I never got to RP this character, I'll use him instead.
Name: Joseph Alude, now known as Garou Seth Age: 16 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon: Twin Katanas of legend (not uber), one named Einhander and the other Brigander. Einhander is primarily the one handed sword, which is great for Seth when he displays his talent in the Iaijutsu art. Brigander is primarily the two handed sword, which he likes to use to display raw power. It can be used one handed but preferred as a two handed sword. Runes: LH- Violence RH- Currently Open. Origin: Sanadia, raised in Marid, and resides in Kaleria Physical Description: Joseph Alude has the look of a warrior. He has dark and distant eyes; eyes that tell the tragic story of his life. His long flowing hair is held back in a pony-tail and in the front only a few bangs hang down. Seth wears a dark blue tunic underneath a traditional, light blue kimono with two, brilliant red stripes running parallel to his arms. On his hands and wrists are gloves of a deep blue hue. Sheathed at his side are his weapons, Einhander and Brigander. History: Son of Darsh and Karen, this young man has experienced much turmoil at such a young age. With his mother being killed in a conflict that occurred 10 years ago (still unknown to him till this day) and his father imprisoned nearly all his life at Crystal Vally, Joseph was alone. After his mother died, he was sold on the market to pay off some of his father's debt. It was at that moment, when he met the woman that saved him. Her name was Kitsune Suzuhara. Feeling sorry for the misfortune of the boy, she requested that she claim the boy as her own. He lived with Kitsune at Marid. As he remembered the past, anger built up in him, and Kitsune decided to harness this anger and train him. Unknowing that this woman was a sword master and an expert rune mage, Joseph, now called Seth by her, willingly trained with her. Since the age of 7, he has been perfecting the Tenshin-Reshin style, along with the Iaijutsu art. He also dabbled in magic as well. Then more tragedy struck the kid, when his "Step-Mother" fell ill. She later died, around Seth's 15th birthday. Disturbing news brought Seth over the edge. It was discovered that an enemy swordsman, who was jealous of Kitsune's status, poisoned her. After finding out who the killer was, Seth murdered him. It was Seth first cold-blooded act. Afterward he was never the same. Vowing never to be victim of circumstance, Seth became Garou Seth, and began his quest.

[Haven't seen her online in a while but heck... here's my starting post]
Crystal Valley was a land one had rarely seen and it's army rarely deployed without due reason. In this land was the Rune of Dominance, the so called Circle Rune and with it was the "clergy" that protected it. The One Temple housed this clergy, housed those of the higher class Harmonia called their "first class" and "second class" citizens. Caiser was one of these citizens. The cheery boy held a broom in his hands, humming softly as he began to sweep. There didn't seem to be any need to clean up; the temple being clean enough as it is but he seemed to be happy doing a menial chore. The smile never left his face as he swept, humming all the way.
"Goodness, Caiser... you seem to be busy..." The young acolyte looked up, blinking. "B... bishop Sasarai!" he stammered, taking the broom and holding it as straight as he would his Sangreal. "Now truly, is there any need for you to stand at attention...?" the older bishop asked, smiling softly at the boy. "N... no, sir..." Caiser finally stammered, cheeks pinkening at the very sound of him being addressed. "Carry on, then, Caiser." Sasarai smiled and began to head off. With a dreamy sigh, Caiser watched his idol walk off into the corridor. One day... he would be a bishop of that reputation. Of course, he would have to find someone more amiable to be his lieutenant... nothing like that Dios creature who scolded him more often than not. But dreams were so far... And there were more hallways to sweep. --- Glancing back into the hallway, Sasarai smiled softly as he caught sight of the young boy returning to his duties. A quiet chuckle escaped his lips as he caught a hand peering out of an overized sleeve to push an equally large hat back. Ah, how long had it been, really, since he himself wore that outift? Not since the war of the Dunan Unification. And that itself seemed ages ago. One must keep an eye on that Caiser, he thought as he made his way to the library. It was usually the quiet ones who changed things. [There we go. Just a placement post for Caiser and Sas]

OOC: Sey, the length of your post...scares me. eek Is it really necessary to make posts that long?
OC:
A blond head bobbed down respectfully as a slender priestess, clad in all of her Harmonian finery waltzed by, not even bothering to acknowledge the bow. Perhaps she had been busy- or perhaps even merely insolent as everyone knew that the Temple Knights, as much as they guarded the temple with their lives, were still below the priests. But no matter.
Stella paused, her head half-raised as she followed the footsteps of the young priestess. She knew that it was hopeless for her to feel any anger towards that type of behaviour- after some time in the temple, you had to grow used to it, or risk being exiled from the Crystal Valley, as such thoughts were considered treason. Disobeying the higher ranks were dangerous things in Harmonia...such things were practically unheard of. But no matter. She'd keep her cool.
Besides, it wasn't that all priests in the temple were of such foul temperament. She knew of a few - the Bishop Sasarai, for one- who was of quite agreeable manner. Maybe it was because no one dared to defy his commands since he was of the elite few, but according to what she'd observed since she had entered the temple grounds two months ago, he wasn't one to be miserly with a few kind words and the usual smile. Perhaps that was what made him popular with the lower-downs in the palace, although he kept mostly to those affliated to the One Temple.
Up ahead, she gazed a rather petite form, dwarfed by the Harmonian robes that it was clad in, and a mischevious smile crossed her face. Perhaps the earlier sour taste left by the priestess could be banished by a little....misbehaviour. Nothing too serious- just actions that a Harmonian Temple Guard should not be caught doing to one of the clergy.
A smile crossed her lips.
"Oh, Caiser..."
OOC again: This is my first venture into the world of RPing since a VERY long time, so I apologize if I sound kinda weird and detached. I promise I'll get better as the time goes! And er....can we draw up a list of NPCs please? sweatdrop

[Actually, that's a pretty damn good post, Dynast! 3nodding No, they don't hafta be that long. I usually make my intro/placement posts long coz they include a description of teh charrie. All in all, you did good! whee ]
Amethyst eyes blinked as the young acolyte looked up, jarred from his little daydream. He heard his name but who was calling him...? Drat this hat. Again, the boy found the brim of the rather large headgear falling over his eyes. Fingers fumbled from his sleeves and peeked from his cuffs to push it up. "M... miss Stella!" he finally realized, gripping his broom tightly. Again, the hat threatened to fall off his brow. Quickly, he reached up with both hands to steady it, forgetting that one hand used to hold a broom. Caiser let out a quick squeak as he heard the broom clatter onto the ground. A few passers by let their gazes drift to the young boy, some with sighs and shakes of disapproval, others with small, teasing smiles. Already, Caiser felt his cheeks grow warm as he stooped over with a hand on the brim of his hat and the other reaching for the broom. With quiet murmurs, he picked up the broom once more and smoothed down his robes with his free hand. A quiet, exasperated sigh escaped his lips as the brim of his hat fell over his eyes and all went dark again. "...what may I do for you...?"

OOC: What? You've got to be joking (about the good post thingie)....I feel so...out of practice. Ugh, I hate myself.
IC:
Stella grinned impishly as she reached out and tipped the oversized hat up to reveal the fumbling acolyte. It was still a mystery to her why this young boy -he was short for his age- could tolerate having this monster of a hat on his head the entire day, obscuring his vision totally. If it was her with that hat, she would have tore it to pieces months ago. Then again, with the hat being an important ornament of Harmonia's priest outfit, there WAS no way of getting out of wearing the cumbersome thing.
"It's a little strange that I should find you sweeping at the same spot each day, Caiser dear," she teased. "Could it be because the Lord Bishop Sasarai passes here each morning? Or could it all just be a coincidence that you should be so faitfully stationed here?"
OOC again: I can't help poking fun at Caiser. biggrin

[It's fun to pick on him, really. 3nodding His reactions are priceless. ]
Caiser blinked at the statement. His cheeks turned a deep shade of pink, nearly crimson that clashed horribly with his hair and clothes. "I... I..." he stammered, flustered and not finding the right words to explain himself. Why indeed, did he clean these halls so? Why was he here almost everyday? Was it true that the bishop he so admired always passed here? Perhaps. This he didn't know. As far as he did know, these halls were filthy and he did want to rid the filth from it, being one of the main corridors and all. "That... that's not true!" he protested. As he flailed, however, his hat went collapsing once more over his eyes. Vision obstructed, the young priest fell backward, hitting the floor with a rather painful thump. His eyes turned down as he shoved the hat further up his brow. Perhaps it was because of the bishop. Perhaps it was because of the filth.. Who knew? He certainly didn't.

OOC: Indeed they are. On another note, we need to drag more people in here. Just the two of us isn't fun. stare
IC:
The young Stella stifled an amused laugh as she watched the young acolyte tumbled into the dust, gasping half in shock, and half in surprise. Granted, Caiser was -indeed- a very touchy subject when it came to talking about the Lord Bishop, and it tickled her to see him grow hot and flushed over the topic of his long sought-after 'idol'.
Tsking, she lifted the hat off his head and waggled her finger.
"Now, now, we all know that if you get injured in any way, Lord Dios will be after my head," she rebuked, using her free hand to tug him up to his feet. "And if I get dismissed, the Lord Bishop Sasarai would be angry too, wouldn't he?"
On that note, she straightened and threw a slight wink at him before stalking off. Duties, duties...
