Powers: Hayden is a normal human who posses The Medusa Mask-a magical item on par with a Lantern Power Battery, Cosmic Cube and the Ultimate Nullifier. The Mask itself seems to have the ability to tap into the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum, although Hayden himself can decide whether to leak an emotion from a person, cause them to feel another emotion entirely or magnify an emotion that target is already experiencing-but he seems to be under a compulsion to use this power. Also, Hayden has shown the ability to form illusions of people (and to limit the number of targets who can perceive them)-and might even be able to create duplicates of himself to avoid injury/death. Using any of his powers causes him pain. Hayden also can see through the Fourth Wall and has knowledge of the Multiverse (and perhaps Hypertime as well)
Bio: Hayden's father was a psychologist, and one day Hayden broke his fathers arm. He was sent to jail for this, where he shared a cell with one Charles Halstead-the original Psycho-Pirate. Halstead was obsessed with the power of emotions, and would lecture Hayden on this subject often. From Halstead, Hayden learned of the Medusa Masks, a set of items which, when combined with a certain gas, allowed one to have control over the emotions of others simply by changing ones' own facial expression. When Hayden got out of prison, he arranged the theft of the Masks from Kent Nelson-forging them into one.
Extra: Hayden thinks people who read comics are perverts who enjoy the pain of others, but has admitted to enjoy comics himself. He prefers the nostalgia of the Silver and Gold ages, and says he is in love with Power Girl. He is not quite sane...and may not have a corporeal body.
