Natsu passed through the gate that led to his office into the underground training area. He smiled, proud of his acomplishment. "It worked out just like I thought it would." He called back through the gate. "Alright, fellas, bring it through, it's perfectly safe!"

"Huh?" Natsu looked over his shoulder at Ruka. "Oh, the gateway. It was a little bit iffy with whether it would work or not. I had to design the structure within my lab with little to go on but my memory working with this thing. If my calucations were off by a little, I could have been lost between the worlds, never to be seen again." He sighed. "And I wouldn't have anything sweet to snack on. Speaking of which, did you bring any more of those cookies?"

Ruka Kusabana Squad 9 Captain Ruka felt her jaw drop at the incredible risk he had taken. Now he asks for cookies?! She felt her temper rise before it settled as she placed a hand to her head. If he did any less then I should be worried. Her mind briefly went to the events only hours earlier and a flicker of pain crossed her face before it cleared. She rolled her eyes "No Natsu. I was too busy working on the articles for the Seireitei Monthly. You know? My job?"

"Huh? Oh...well then, this could be the cover story!" he said happily. "I need to let everyone know about the shop reopening in the world of the living. Plus...I'll need the money to help finance this place." He looked around. "Also, I plan on getting the humans we've met here and have them train their powers."

Ruka Kusabana Squad 9 Captain Ruka blinked in some disbelief "You're... going to turn the Urahara shop into a sweet shop?" She had to admit it was a good idea for a training ground though. Humans were almost always at risk from Hollows when training, something like this would be perfect.

"Why not?" Natsu asked, smiling. "Humans would be the perfect test subjects for my sweets." He raised a hand "Now, before you go yelling in my ear, the products will be tested by me first, to insure that the sweets are not poisonous."

Ruka Kusabana Squad 9 Captain Ruka bit down on her temper when he said that and shook her head. "Alright, alright." she thought for a moment "Hey Natsu, want me to pick up some cookies from the shop? I think they keep the mall open pretty late so I should be able to get some..."

Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka grinned, a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "Alright then..." she slowly started backing up toward the ladder "Catch up if you can!" With a laugh, she was gone up the ladder and to the mall.

Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 "Such sweet tears...suf-!" the sudden move snapped the words in half. She looked around dizzily, clutching at her head "N-Natsu? What...?"
"Don't die..."
She sobbed and shook her head "What's happening? I don't understand! W-why?"
