Kohaku Everrild Leighton Haiver The duo had moved themselves from the beach to the garden. They'd had enough of the sea for now. The woman had soaked feet, while the man had now been covered in small splashes. They strolled leisurely down the path, through the flowers and herbs. This was a nice place to be. There was a particular tree here that they liked to sit under and take naps. There had been a few occasions where Kohaku's black fedora hat had been stolen while she slept, or where Leighton had to buy a new watch after his expensive, original watch was pinched. As a result, they usually used an illusion to hide these items while they slumbered. The illusionists continued their stroll, before stopping at their usual tree. They were not planning to nap this time. They would just wander around in one of Leighton's little worlds. Kohaku had come to a lazy halt in front of their usual spot. "Alright, Start her up, Buddy." To which, Leighton had chuckled. "Fine, Off we go~" The man had stopped walking and touched the old tree, as did his friend. In that moment, the two had vanished. A watch remained on the ground. It was only an illusion. Though, it was quite dangerous. If anyone were to touch the watch, they would be sucked right into the illusion. Without an idea of what you wanted to see, such a thing could be dangerous. It was nothing special, a speciality of Leighton's. This little world would only last half an hour or so. Thirty minutes at the very most. The duo were wandering through a small town. It was empty. That was what was so brilliant about it. It was their town, they could go into any store, take anything. Of course, this would never last. It was just an escape. A lovely, private escape.

Jake Patchers If you want to judge someone's true character. . .
A figure covered in heavy clothing could be seen running around campus. Going into dark places near the building only to back away once he saw there were couples or students occupying them already. This figure would try to keep out of the sun between it's travels from one dark place to another untill it dropped on the floor near the entrance to the gardens. Jake sighed and said out loud " I give up. There's no place in this school were a teacher can smoke without being bothered! " he whined as he looked up to see the sign of the gardens. Jake looked back down and tilted his head as he thought. " Why did I not think about this earlier. The gardens are most likely empty this is perfect. " He then got back up and hit himself in the head for being so dumb when in withdrawal. If he wanted to teach Fightning and Strategy he couldn't be in this state in front of his students. And he sure as hell couldn't smoke in front of them either. He entered the gardens whilst pulling a cigarette out of his pocket and placing it in his mouth. He then brought out a silver lighter and started trying to light his cig. However, even his lighter was oposing his idea of smoking. So eventually he just threw it to the ground in rage and brought his thumb up to his cigar. He made some gestures with his other hand and muttered " Flare. " and a small flame appeared over his thumb lightning his cig. He shaked his hand around as he put out the small flame and sucked on his cigarette pulling all the smoke right into his lungs. He grabbed the cig with two of his fingers and coffed out the smoke. He was too anxious. After smoking his cig a bit and moving around at random he found himself under a tree. He sat down leaning on it as he enjoyed his cigarette, and eventually he just looked to the floor next to him. There was a small watch there. He wondered who it belonged to as he reached to touch it to have a closer look and that's when karma slapped him right in the face. Jake found himself in the middle of a deserted town. He scratched the back of his neck with one hand as his jaw dropped because of how confused he was. And to make it all worse, since his jaw dropped his cigarette fell out too landing right on the floor. He started to lose his temper once again as he was urged to swear out loud in an eruption of fire.Jake found next to him a small bar. He walked in to see it was aswell empty. He couldn't quite understand what had happened to him, but he had found a place where he could smoke in peace. Bringing another cig to his lips and lightning it in the same fashion as he had lighted the other one he enjoyed his stay in this empty town.

Kohaku Everrild Leighton Haiver The duo had been going wild. They had ransacked the buildings, taken what they wanted, played a giant game of hide and seek around the place. This little illusion had been a great relief so far. For now, the pair had retreated to a casino. Why would there be a casino in the middle of a small, empty town? This was an illusion, remember. Kohaku slouched in her comfortable chair, two cards in her hand. As usual, she had glanced up at her partner in curiousity about his cards and tightened her tie in frustration. An eyeball had appeared over Leighton's shoulder, though the young man had waved this away with a twitch of irritation. The man was sitting up straight in his chair, his cards held in front of his face. On the table sat a deck of cards. Leighton was rather peeved by Miss Everrild's attempt to cheat. The result was a pin which seemed to appear on his partner's chair, while she briefly moved her chair closer to the table. The result was enough to make him happy. The woman had let out a loud 'Oh Eff!'. Except, she didn't say 'eff... she said what it meant. Leighton cackled loudly as the woman plucked the pin from her bottom. The brown-haired man was highly amused, and was now having to place a hand on his stomach to suppress his giggles. Kohaku was obviously not very amused. She had been about to wring her partner's neck when a familiar friend popped up. A black cat, in a tuxedo, who lounged on the table and twirled a flower with one paw. Catty eyes glanced between the two. This was Inky, a familiar part of their illusions. Inky usually dealt the cards. " 'Sup, cat." "It's nice to see you again, Inky." The cat had merely offered a nod, and had opened his catty mouth to speak when Leighton interrupted. "Oh dear... It looks like I might have some tormenting to do. "Why?" "Someone's found my watch, girlie. What do you say we see who it is?" "Hm. Sure. You ready?" "Certainly." The duo stood from their unfinished game to leave the small room. Strangely enough, what would usually lead them to the casino foyer now led them into the main street. Strange, no? The two walked side by side, staring into every building and venturing inside to seek the intruder. By this point, Leighton had been carrying his guns, while Kohaku had resorted to a rusty pipe. This was their world, and nobody else's. Sure, it would end in three minutes, but it still belonged to them. The duo had skulked about in every store and building. That was until they came to a small bar. Upon opening the door, they had been expecting to find nobody. It was only then that they noticed the shady figure in the bar. Mr.Patchers, the Fighting and Strategy teacher. The two looked at each other, before returning their attention to the teacher. "Mr. Patchers?" "What are you doing in one of our illusions?" The two looked utterly perplexed. What was he doing here of all places? How peculiar.

Jake Patchers If you want to judge someone's true character. . .
Jake sucked on his cigar once more. This time, he held the smoke in his mouth and released it in little rings of smoke. This was his second cigar since he had gotten to that deserted town. The bar itself was filled with smoke and anyone could tell that someone was smoking in there. He looked over the table to the empty bar and pulled out a bottle of bourbon. Might aswell drink something while he was stuck in that deserted town. He poured himself a glass and took a small sip. Leaving the bottle and the glass over the counter he started to think about where he was. It was the nature of a Wizard to question all around him. In a situation like this even moreso. Jake traced all his steps till he ended up in that situation. He entered the gardens, started smoking, sat under a tree and grabbed a lost watch, then he had been teleported there. He sighed as it was obvious that the clock had sent him there. He just didn't know where "there" was. The Shade pushed the bottle of bourbon and the glass further away from him so he could place his spellbook on the table. He started to flip the pages of the tome as he looked to some hint as to what was his current situation. The only conclusion he could reach was that the clock he touched was a pathway between worlds. He wasn't sure if this was the truth or not but he wasn't done investigating. He fliped through the tome some more untill he opened on a page where the drawing of two large eyes was present along with some runes and words in the arcane dialect. The did the arcane simbols and spoke the arcane dialect as he started to gather mana around his eyes and then he spoke the name of the spell " Detect Magic. " Jake's eyecolour changed from white to a very dark blue. And although Jake had no pupils, runes appeared circling the location where they should be if he were a regular human. He looked around and could only stay in his current location in awe. There was magic everywhere. In the stool he sat, on the bar his book was on, and the very bourbon he was drinking. The only thing that didn't have magic all over it, were the two people that entered the bar in that exact moment. Jake immediately took the cigarette off his mouth and crushed it in his hand, letting out a small grunt from the pain. The bourbon, well he didn't do anything about it. All adults go to bars eventually and it's not like he could conceal the bottle. Making some dismissing signs in front of his eyes, Jake's eyes returned to it's pure white colour in the middle of the darkness that was his face. Jake took off his hat and ran his hand through his hair while he tried to figure out something he could say. " I can't really say. I don't know how I ended up here. So an illusion was what it was. . . No wonder I saw magic everywhere. " Jake got up dusting himself and put his hat back on as he continued his reasoning. His incredible intelect at work aswell as his magical knowledge he finally reached a conclusion " So that watch was a gateway to your illusion. . . " he did some motions with his hand as he tried to continue his reasoning " And when I tried to pick it up it sent me here. " he smiled happy with his conclusion. Returning to his book he flipped to some pages of the tome that were left in blank on porpouse, so he could fill them with knowledge later. After all, Jake was still a young wizard. The book however was in itself special. As jake thought what he wanted to write, the words appeared on the book untill he had put a whole page on what he had just experienced. He turned to the students with a smile " You two are incredibly talented to create an illusion like this. For a moment there I had no idea as to what was going on. ". He was thinking about scolding them for not putting any warning near the watch or for even leaving a gateway laying around like that so that anyone could get sucked in but when he was a young wizard he had done much worse than creating an illusion, so he simply asked " Well then. How do I get out of this world you made? " he tipped his hat forward preparing himself beforehand from returning to the real world and have the sun hit his face.

Kohaku Everrild Leighton Haiver The two had been puzzled. It was not everyday that somebody wandered into their little worlds. Sure, it was common if they were in a city, but not in the middle of the quiet gardens. Most people were off in the forest, or in their dorms, and so it was usually rather safe to start up an illusion around here. This world was strange as it was, how would they explain this to a teacher. Strangely enough, the two hand guns and rusty pipe had vanished entirely. As did the rest of the town. The windows showed an endless blackness outside. It was the result of the illusion coming to an end. They had no more than two minutes now. Alternatively, Leighton could cancel the illusion whenever he liked. He was the one who created these worlds, he was the one who handled the appearance of things. Haku was the one who handled the sound. Both could use touch, and with these three senses put together their illusions could be made quite real indeed. Of course, as Mr.Patcher might have figured by now, there was no smell in this world, there was no taste in this world. The duo had no control over those bits. Illusionists were born with one or two senses to handle, it was very rare to get an Illusionist with all five senses. Unfortunately, the duo were too closed off to the world to accept another member into their little club. The two had watched their teacher as he removed his hat. Both had leaned forward in curiousity. Someone who concealed themselves so much was bound to cause questions. The duo were highly curious. But much to their disappointment, his face was was shady was it always was. The teacher seemed to come up with an explanation for their illusion. Mr.Patchers was entirely right so far. The watch was a portal. Strangely enough, the watch seemed to be missing from Leighton's bandaged wrist. He took interest in the teacher's next question. "Mr.Patchers, you are a smart fellow. Indeed, my watch is a portal. You will get out of this world when it ends, or when I feel like ending it... which would be now, sir." And with that, the world seemed to warp into it's center. The center? Leighton's left eye. In the blink of an eye, the landscape had reverted back to the vibrant gardens. The watch had returned to it's place on Leighton's arm. Their illusions were skillful, it was true. But what they lacked was strategy, knowledge of realms and proper fighting techniques. What they were interested in now was that large book that the teacher carried around, the one which seemed to spawn pages of writing whenever he thought of something to write. How did that book work? Red eyes looked the teacher up and down, as the white-haired woman slipped her hands into her pockets.

Jake Patchers If you want to judge someone's true character. . .
Jake closed his tome and chained it back to his belt. A spellbook is the wizard's most prized possession. Something they would sacrifice their life over. And the reason why whenever Jake wasn't using it, it wasn't left laying around and was instead chained to him. He then looked around as the illusion started to fall appart, before it was then warped into the eye of the male student in front of him. Jake could only smile slightly. This magic was a bit different of his own and amazing in it's own way. Sure, with the usage of Mana, Jake could create illusions of himself with the Displacement spell, but to spawn a whole world? That was impossible even to the greatest Wizard. Although when thinking about it there were tales of Wizards creating their own pocket worlds, but such magic was beyond even his capabilities. The sunlight hit jake's eyes directly once again he grunted slightly in discomfort as he lowered his hat over his eyes even further. " Should find a spell that kept me constantly shrouded in darkness. " he muttered under his breath as he moved under the shade of the tree. For a moment he could be seen grabing his high colar and shaking it a bit so some air could go in his clothes to make it a bit cooler. He was already used to being so hot all the time. He had been outside the sewers of london for nearly nine years now if he wasn't mistaken, and he'd always wore clothing to cover as much of his body from the sun as possible. Getting slightly used to being outdoors once more, he turned to the two students he had momentairly ignored, not on purpose of course. He smiled slightly, his white fangs standing out from his dark appearance and spoke " Well, I hope you two enjoy your time in this school and I hope I get to teach you soon. With some more practice, you two will be great ilusionists. " he then turned his back on them and walked outside the gardens. He had accomplished what he had gone there to do, smoke a bit. And now that he remembered this, he noticed his hand was still aching slightly. Few know how putting out a cigar on your own skin can burn, and even though he had gloves he still got hurt.

Kohaku Everrild Leighton Haiver That tome was rather interesting, to the duo. It was highly intriguing. Leighton's eyes had narrowed ever so slightly, a light smile sitting on his face as he eyed the ancient book. Kohaku stared at it through a sly glance. What exactly did that book do? Why did Mr.Patchers carry it so close? What information did it hold? If it weren't for the fact the Mr.Patchers was a teacher, the two would have at least attempted to steal it by now. Of course, they would give it back in the end, but not before they had examined every single page closely. The duo had exchanged a glance, the woman clenching her jaw briefly before releasing it. They would forget the tome for now. Leighton had slipped his hands into the pockets of his jeans, but not before checking his watch. Strangely enough, his wrists were bandaged. Though it was hidden by his jacket, they extended up to his elbow. Both did this. Why? You know what, they had forgotten. It had become a tradition for so long that the whole purpose was behind them . Yet, they continued it every morning. The two would wraps their arms without a care as to why. Perhaps they might find out at some point, who knows? But, back to the point. The teacher seemed to have mentioned something about being shrouded in darkness. How odd. It seemed peculiar that he appeared to be so dark, the duo could not pick out many features other than his eyes and his mouth. Perhaps it was a racial factor. It seemed so, as Mr.Patchers had moved under the shade of the tree, to which the two had narrowed their eyes. These had widened at the sight of fangs. Fangs. What in the world was he? There was no time to ask. The teacher had bid them adieu and left. Leighton had broken the silence with a deep sigh. "Now then, I'm dying for some whiskey. Can we go back to our room, Kohaku?" The woman had nodded in reply. "Mm. Let's go." The two began a quiet stroll back to their dorm.
