thanks. im working on an oil painting of one of my bettas right now. just waiting for it to dry so i can take a picture of it and post it up. i took alot of artistic liberties with it and since i painted it in the dark garage ive got no idea what it will look like in the light xp
im really looking forward to moving next month, my fiance wont force me to paint in a dark and lonely place like my dad does xd

A big thing about painting rats is capturing their playful personalities.
As far as water colour goes, I think I remember some tips from art class from like 2 years ago.

please tell me all you remember. this isnt a good painting of rat fun because i tried out something more realistic. i have more fun making cartoony rats lol
i finished the painting of my betta, now im just waiting for it to dry so i can move it into some light and take a picture
i like the water colors because its easier to set up and clean up plus its cheaper so i can fool around and have more fun with my work.
with oils i feel like i have more control over my paints but since they are so sxpensive i feel like every painting i do i have to do my best and cant afford to let loose and do whatever.
besides that though i find both very relaxing
