******** you Ford! I love how the Fiesta looks on the outside better than the Focus. It's tidier, and the front isn't all crazy. The headlights especially appeal to me. They have a sharp curvy look to them, like a scimitar, on the Fiesta. But on the Focus, they have the nice sharp-ish curve on the outside half, but then get some confused rounded psuedo-polygonal look to them on the inside half. All that makes them look like a ill-designed blob. The "air intake" things on the Focus both are awesome and a bit too much to me at the same time. But then you get to the interior, and the Focus blows the Fiesta away. This is expected, given that the Focus is slotted above the Fiesta in "class" within the Ford vehicle lineup. Fiesta Interior Focus Interior I'm also pretty sure that the Focus will get some insane RS/SVT version that the Fiesta won't. *Sighs.* Why can't the Focus look as good as the Fiesta on the outside? sad

I liked how they briefly made a coupe of the Focus that wasn't a flibbin hatchback!!! I don't mind hatchbacks but thats all Ford makes anymore is four door cars.

Man, Ford knows what the hell they're doing. They only have one fault - they have no rival for the Corvette and the Viper. They need to make a new Ford GT that's about as affordable as the other two. That'd be the business. Ford GTs are the business... Really, Ford. We know you can do it, you're awesome like that. Just bring it back, the right way.

I must say Ford has really stepped up their game, I used to hate Ford with a passion but they are starting to grow on me now. And as of now the only American supercar we have going is the Corvette for the Viper took a break.

I don't really think Ford needs to produce a supercar of it's own. They make a lot of limited trims for nearly all of their cars (from the F-150 Lightning to the Taurus SHO) and they have two big name big production modifiers, Shelby and Saleen. Hell even Motortrend compared the 2011 GT-350 and the 2011 Corvette Grand Sport.

Isn't Shelby just a trademark name? I thought the high end production Mustang was made by SVT. And you forgot to mention Roush. o:

Hell even Motortrend compared the 2011 GT-350 and the 2011 Corvette Grand Sport. It was the GT-500 and they said there's simply no contest. Like it or not, the Mustang just isn't a supercar. People try to make it into one all the time because it's all Ford's got, but it just doesn't work. There are plenty of souped up Camaros around, like the HPE550, but you don't hear anyone calling it a supercar. That's because there's such thing as a Corvette. I don't care what kind of Mustang you've got - GT500KR, Super Snake, it doesn't matter. In contrast to a Ford GT, you ain't s**t.

In my opinion, I think the fiesta and the focus are both fugly....
Both are eyesores and should be discontinued and scraped for soda cans.....

It's got a fair share of mazdaness. The Focus looks okay, but it's not a head turner. Still, the interior is just fantastic.

Yeah, the Focus's interior is really tugging at me, and she'll talk to me if I get SYNC added in. The Fiesta is a knockout compared to what else is in its class: But... I know a way to make the Fiesta gain so much more in style points with today's crowd! Style points +4,000! Style points >9,000! DOOD! Da new b-seg whips dat Honduh and Nizmo are putting out are MASS TYTE SICKNESS! While that's all a joke poking fun at today's "taste" within the younger iGeneration, we know it's true. I can't believe how many people give props to the look of the current Golf, Fit, Soul, Versa, etc. or even try to style them up at car shows.

The Golf and Fit IMO looks pretty decent, but the other competition I don't know what went wrong.

iAndrewx The Golf and Fit IMO looks pretty decent, but the other competition I don't know what went wrong. I'm not a fan of the Golf's confused headlights (like the Focus's, they have the normal and nice curved outer half while the inner edges get all weird and polygonal). While the Fit and the Golf aren't grotesque and hideous, they are in the same league style-wise to the Fiesta/Focus... which aren't ugly compared to anything in their class, which was the point of the picture post. My favorite hatches for looks are actually the current Mitsubishi Lancer (looks mean), Chevrolet Spark (way too ******** cute not to love), and the Cadillac CTS Sportwagon (you're blind if you don't think that looks good).

I'll be honest. I don't like much of the cars from this current new generation. Talking about the '10s/ '11s. I prefer a lot of the previous generation. Example, VW Golf 2008 VW Golf 2010 Ford Fiesta 2009 http://www.autofans.us/images/Ford/2009 Ford Fiesta Motion 1.jpgFord Fiesta 2011 E60 5-series F10 5-series. (check bmwusa.com. Actual pics still scarce.) IMO, Mille, the only Focus I've ever really liked the styling of is the RS. That thing is sweeeeeet. So, IMO, if you care what you look like to other people, pick the Fiesta, much better looker. But, if you care about what's inside and your creature comforts, Focus for the much nicer interior. wink
