(( LOL Seeker ))
Seeker had taken off to find his family so that the feathers could be delivered. To his frustration it had taken a lot longer than he had anticipated. His Mother and Sister were nowhere to be found, he had run into his father on the return (Who explained where Meeka and Danica had gone to), and a few other events in between. Over all he was exhausted and hoping the angeni was not angered by his long absence.
His wings beat as fast as they could as he made his return. The sight of the forest just on the horizon was enough for him to keep at his pace. Only a little more to go!
The purple feather waved about in his short main. A little after he ran into Scryer they found a two legger, oddly whom Scryer did not hate, who was able to attach the feather securely. The other feathers he left with Scryer to give to Meeka and Danica if she saw them on his travels.

She had just given birth to the two little girls and instead of looking at them at first with love and care, she flat out was having a 'what the ********' moment. Sure, she knew she was pregnant, but still, she was alone. Now she had two others to care for?! And these weak little things on top of that?!
She was lucky she had actual maternal instincts or she wouldnt be caring for them at all. She finally fell to licking both of the little girls to clean them, still reeling from it all. She would kill that other angeni... tho... she stopped herself short of that since it was something she wanted, even if it was something she would never admit to another living soul.
Her ears flicked to the sound of another approaching and she growled, a wing moving over the two newborns.
'Great...' she cursed under her breath. What a time to get an intruder.

Seeker arrived out of breath, but still eager to see Xochi. Hopefully she would not be upset over his long absence and think it rude of him. He nearly plowed into the ground at full force in his hurry to get back.
"Xochi, I-I'm back! A-apologies for the delay!" He huffed and stuttered a little as he regained his footing. His ears perked forwared and his head held high. It seemed the best idea to wait for her response before entering her realm. Simply out of respect.

Just as quickly as the stallion landed, a breath and sigh of relief that it was him was released so easily. 'Get up here!' she called down to him, tho unable to really see him 'quick!'. She didnt even think about how her words might come across, but at these moments she didnt care. Tho her voice was a little more than a hushed hiss, not wanting to startle these little things.

Seeker's eyes widened at the demand. His mind swam with the dangers of what he had gotten into by just being late in his return. Oh how he must have disappointed this angeni! Without another breath he leapt up and took flight to the nest in the trees.
"Yes mmmmmmmmm-" Again his eyes widened, threatening to fall out of his head. "...." All words fell from his mouth to the back of his mind than out the window. FOALS!? She was a mother angeni now?
He bit his bottom lip as he tried to not look as shocked. Luckily his mane was so long, perhaps she didn't notice his eyes? A silly thought, he was doubtful yet hopeful at the same time. An odd feeling really.

For a moment, she wanted to snap at him, ears pinned, her eyes easily narrowed as she watched him. Gods it would have felt SO good to do so, if only to relieve a bit of her own tension. The more she thought about it tho, the more she held herself back from doing it. It wasnt as if this stallion was her slave, or even really HAD to be here. And he was visiting his family.
Her eyes closed as she took a deep breath and finally slammed down the last bit of her anger and wanting to lash out, just to feel better. Her voice was firm but not as sharp as her look was a few moments ago. 'Settle down here,' she opened her eyes again as she nodded to a place by her for him to lay down.

Seeker winced and pulled his head back as he braced for impact. He it comes, he was going to be a frog now! There had been wrong done in the great Angenis eyes and he was going to get it.... "hm?" He blinked as she instructed him where to park. "Y-yes, of course."
Seeker made his way to the spot Xochi gestured to as if he was walking on very thin ice. He was surprisingly agile for his outward appearance.
"I-I'm sorry I wasn't h-here sooner Xochi..." His head lowered as he spoke. He couldn't get over the thought of how much trouble she had to go through alone with these foals. Mothering wasn't easy... At least it didn't look like it.

Watching him as he settled she nodded and finally got up now that he was here. She HAD to get out of here and stretch, find something to eat. She moved carefully enough so the foals wouldnt wake up and she yawned a bit, her bones popping as she shifted from her stiff, rested state.
'Good... now watch them. I need to get some food,' her eyes narrowed and she looked at him as if daggers would fly out of her eyes and kill him. 'And if anything happens to them...' she warned, knowing her look would be enough.
She didnt even wait for him, and in a moment she was up in the air and gone, leaving him with the two sleeping babies. Gods, it felt great to be out of there. She felt like she could finally move and breathe. Her body was sore, but with some freedom that would be fixed quickly.

Seeker scrunched his head back so that his chin rest tightly against his neck. He got the point. "Y-yes m-m-mam..." Came his shaken voice after she had left.
He looked at the two foals, studied them. They were both breath takingly gorgeous... One looked like the mother and the other, perhaps looked like the father? Wait. Where was the father in all of this?
His feathers bristled as he thought about it. He must have abandon her! Left her all alone to care for these wonders... Or, maybe- his feathers settled- maybe the angeni had managed to create life without the work of a father! They were divine. It was a better alternative to think that than fume over the thought of someone giving her these foals than running off... Best be positive around these little ones.
"It's okay little ones... I'm gonna help here." he whispered gently to the to.
OH PLEASE LET THEM STAY ASLEEP!

It didnt take much to finally wake Quau. There was already so much movement and noise. At the sound of the male, one eye lazily opened and watched him carefully. Her massive tail flicked a bit, tho otherwise she remained completely still.

Itzpapalotl's ears twitched at the sound of Seeker's voice. Such a strange sound! It was the first time she had ever heard a male. Her eyes opened as he head lifted to get a better look at the owner of this voice. He wasn't near as colorful as mother, nor did he have as many wings. Her head tilted as if asking a question, 'what are you?'Seeker's mane stood on end when the two begun to stir. OF COURSE they would wake up just as he thought that! Fate seemed to LOVE doing that to him. His ears perked forward as his head lifted. Perhaps they would go back to sleep? OH GOD! What if they were able to turn him into a frog at that age? Or something else small and easy to step on... a bug.
"H-heh...." He laughed nervously as he forced a smile. Maybe they would like him and not turn him into a bug.

Quau's little ears flicked at the sounds the male made. It wasnt as if she had been around long enough to really pick up mannerisims from others, however, being a pure angeni, she was sensitive to other's feelings. She could tell easily that there was something off with this male, but it wasnt as if she would know what.
Curious she finally lifted her head a bit and started to sniff the air around them as if trying to get a better feel for the situation. Her tail flicked quickly, and her eyes kept focused on Seeker, almost narrowed trying to figure out what he was.

Okay, so them sleeping through the whole babysitting deal didn't work out. At very least they were not rowdy. Seeker took a deep breath as he tried to calm down. He didn't want to be turned into a toad.
"H-hey there little beauties." He whispered gently to the two foals. It took a lot of willpower not to stutter the entire sentence.
His focus shifted between the two rapidly. It felt odd being the center of attention from such young eyes...
Itzpapalotl blinked than turned toward her sister. She couldn't really put a pin on this stallion. He was obviously nervous. Why was a complete mystery to the young foal, but she didn't dwell on that question.

Quau felt Itz's attention turn toward her and she finally lifted her head with a large yawn, showing she didnt really care. She felt comfortable enough that her mother would kill this male had he attempted anything stupid. Interesting now that she had so much confidence and already it was second nature to look down on others, when she got older, the roles would be reversed.
Sniffing the air a bit, her eyes closed, ears moving. The male was annoying her and finally she was the one to break the silence.
"What are you staring at?" she asked bluntly, tho her voice alone made it almost seem odd that one so young would have such an attitude. Maybe she was just playing to the male's obvious nervousness as if it were a game to her.

Itzpapalotl's eyes widened at her sister's blunt comment. The poor Stallion was nervous enough, that wouldn't help him any. She felt a little pity toward the male, but she did not let her words betray her. For the moment she would remain silent still. Her attention slowly returned to Seeker so that she could study his reaction. She knew her mother's opinion of 'males' she just never had the opportunity to meet one.
Seeker's jaw dropped slightly. They were at least old enough to talk. Well, one of them was. "I-I-" He took a deep breath. They were much younger than him. Angeni or not he had to establish he was not a coward. If these little ones got out of control Xochi would kill him... after turning him into a fly or something. Than again, if he was too harsh- no,no, he would be positive!
"I was looking over you two while your mother is out." His attempt at being bold was slightly pathetic. His voice cracked slightly showing he was still very obviously nervous. To top that off he got the feeling he should not have mentioned Xochi was away...
