Girls who have barely started puberty and many possibly even younger than that age are forced to marry men sometimes even twice their age and are then raped. Because they aren't ready to give birth, this damages their organs and then they aren't able to control their bladder, so as a result, they smell horrible and their husbands kick them out of the house and they have to go to their mothers family but since their family has no means to take care of them they have no where to go...and the worst part is these girls had no say in any of this! I even heard this story from my friend about a girl who was only 13 or 14 and like many of these girls, she was forced into marriage and then raped. And because her husband was to big for her, he actually tore her up and she bled to death...

That last bit was a little graphic.
But yes, things like that happen in lots of rural areas.
In Cambodia, if the family can't afford to feed another mouth, they usually give up their daughters, and girls as young as five or six are given up to brothels to work so that the family can afford to buy food.
I've read the memoir of a girl who was raped by her father's friend, then sent to a brothel so that her family could afford surgery for her youngest brother.
I think the book was called, "the Road to Lost Innocence".
I forgot the woman's name... I could not pronounce it.
