AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLMENT FORMName: Neronis Maximus (Names are from some of the first Roman Circuses)
Nicknames: Nero (He won't actually answer to Neronis)
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Faction/Race: Reaper - Sorcerer
Natural Ability: Sorcerers/sorceress's are awful at casting spells. Instead, they excel at being able to put spells into objects. These objects can cast the spell for them: ie, a Sorcerer/ess can enchant a fireball spell into a stick. Providing that the stick doesn't catch on fire, the Sorcerer/ess now has a wand that can shoot fireballs... Until the spell runs out, that is.
Personality: Born to two distinctively unimpressive Reapers, Nero is the polar opposite compared to his mundane parents. While they prefer all black robes, Nero loves a plethora of colors, shapes, and designs. His serious, introverted parents have little in common with their fool-hardy extrovert of a son. In fact, most of their time is spent either down playing his explosive taste in decor or trying to get him to dress half-decently. While most of these attempts ended in failure, they were able to tame his hair and instill a strong sense of good hygiene. Something rather odd in a town full of rotting corpses, Nero would like to point out.
Extroverted and dynamic, Nero loves to stand out in a crowd. A lover of the outlandish and ridiculous, he thinks its funny that his race is so bland and human-like. No really, he thinks its hilarious. These desires led him to the image of the clown. Synonymous with horror and excitement, the role of the clown is a part he was all too eager to portray. One to never meet a stranger, he can make friends with anyone in the room and is very open to new people, places, and things. While he doesn't beg for recognition (you should be doing that anyways), his appearance draws attention more so than his words or actions. A lover of adventure, he is easily bored by quiet, doormat types. Preferring to socialize with any exciting character, he tends to avoid introverted types since he wants to avoid fitting into the crowd as much as possible. While he won't go out of his way to harm them, he certainly won't go out of his way to be their friend either.
Though blessed with a fun, light-hearted nature, he has a hard time taking people seriously and tends to prefer to keep things light. Self-centered and selfish, he works to make himself happy and if anyone else gains from it, it wasn't his top priority. While his own problems are epic in their own right, he could honestly care less about what everyone else is going through. Never one to discuss personal problems or serious matters, he isn't a good friend in a rough time. A great companion for an adventure, but not a shoulder to cry on.
When he isn't working on improving his odd taste in magic, he is usually on the hunt for strange and cute stuffed animals, gadgets and trinkets to add to his collection. His funhouse of a room is stuffed with crazy toys and collectibles. Always one for the outlandish, he takes pride in finding the most audacious playthings. Especially, if they can be worn along with his colorful outfit.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Nero was enrolled at the behest of his parents. They hope the academy will instill a strong desire for an honest day's work and not in flashy shenanigans. Nero; however, has different plans. He hopes to expand his magical abilities to be more dynamic and impressive. One for the visual, he will focus on gaining new powers that will make his "performances" much more sinister.
Weapon: "Auguste": A ridiculously decorated umbrella that has sharpened edges when fully opened. A strange tool for a Reaper, though fitting for this strange Reaper.
FEAR: "Last Laugh": Nero's unique magical ability is to cast a spell that causes his target to laugh. Right now, it doesn't do much more, but to cause a slight shortness of breath and stomach pain. However, as it grows, the laughter will become more painful and hopefully, one day, it will be fatal. In order for the spell to take effect, the target must come into substantial contact with Auguste.

Eye Colour: Neon Green
Hair Colour/Style: Dark purple, styled classically (see tektek ref)
Face: Painted white with eye makeup and a red rubber nose
Skin Colour: Very tan
Clothing Style: Circus Clown meets Witch
Colours: Dark Green, Pumpkin Orange, Dark Purple, Black, Fuchsia, Neon Green

Audley cocked an eyebrow at this particular application and then, she simply couldn't help it. She smiled. Hugo gazed at her with a bat's expression of alarm and even the application boxes stopped to stare.
"A clown. Let's hope he doesn't prove to be a class clown. You know how much I hate those," she said with a soft chuckle as she wadded up the application and tossed it to the Approved Box.

I was just wondering if he uses his umbrella at all in his fear abilities. Is it just there for shits n giggles? I realize that might be the point since he's walking to the honk of his own shoes. lol

Auguste acts more as a magic staff in that it increased his magical ability and less as a weapon. Though very comical, it would be hard to take someone serious in a fight if they only had a razor sharp umbrella. xD;;
