Name: Nadia
Nicknames: "That b***h!!"
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Faction/Race Reaper, sub-species: Grim Reaper
Personality:
Nadia is... easily irritated. Actually, almost everything that most monsters in the academy do pisses her off. Growing up in a family with about 15 kids all at the age of 5 through 10, Nadia's nerves are looong gone. What she wants most is peace and quiet, and, although the Academy is far better than her house, it is still quite the opposite of calm.
First off, it's the uniqueness of every single student. "Is that gooey tentacle your arm? Oh, no, it's perfectly fine, but could you PLEASE STOP SPREADING THE SLIME ALL OVER THE HANDRAILS WHEN YOU DON'T NEED TO USE THEM?!" Then, there's the whole fear battle thing going on. It's not that she doesn't like battling, she loves to battle, but... "GODDAMMIT, NOT IN FRONT OF MY WINDOW, I HAVE A TEST TO STUDY FOR!"
Those unlucky enough to anger her will probably be smacked with a frying pan. Yes, Nadia has a large frying pan as her reaper weapon. And she is not afraid to use it, in battle or not, as it is not able to cut anyone and therefore sort of slips by the rules. Of course, the fact it has a blunt edge does not make it at all weaker. Ask someone to hit you over the head with a pan. See how you like it.
The only thing she likes about this Academy, besides battling, is, of course, the teachers. She adores them. Seriously. She loves learning, and the fact that these people will teach her PLUS give her a pass to the human world, where she can finally get some well deserved rest make them very close to gods to her eyes.
Nadia comes from a family of a well-known and respected reaper family. The girl is very proud of her lineage and her parents, and considers it her duty to live up to the family name. This pride is often the cause for the worst conflicts, as the reaper counts her bloodline's honor far more important than her own honor and her life. She doesn't care what you call her personally, but if you even hint at insulting her origin, a battle is inevitable.
Although she seems to have an angry expression on her face all the time, Nadia is easy to get along with, as long as you respect her. Hidden behind that annoyance is loneliness. She would never admit it, but she misses her parents and siblings, and is a little scared by the fact that she's all alone, without any other friendly monsters nearby.
...
The pan's name is Fred.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Nadia wishes to:
A) Get away as far as possible from the noise and clutter of her household.
B) Be able to make new friends.
C) Learn. What interests her most is mass transformation, like making something much heavier or lighter than it should be.
D) Get her diploma and be able to go into the human world, and bring pride to her family.
FEAR:
Skill with Frying Pan
It is pretty obvious, but Nadia is skilled at wielding her pan in any way.(That includes cooking.) She especially excels at close combat with it, and is so used to it's weight and balance that she can change it's movement in seconds. In extreme situations Fred can be thrown, but even with the experience and precision he can be hurled, at most, about 10 meters.
Shadow shift
For a few crucial seconds, grim reapers can shift into a shadowy, wispy intangible substance. They cannot sadly, pass through walls this way.
Weight Shifting
This is Nadia's special ability. The mechanic is the Battle Cry.
Advantages
Once this FEAR is activated, Nadia can freely control the weight of Fred for 2 minutes. This does not affect how hard the pan is, and most of the time there is no difference between the pain of being hit by a feather light frying pan and one that weighs 10 pounds.
Disadvantages
There is no limit to the weight of the pan, however Nadia can hold up to a maximum of 25 pounds, and be able to swing with a maximum of 20, making anything heavier impossible to battle with. There is a way Nadia can bypass this physical limit, which will be described next.
Meteorite
This is Nadia's best move. In a nutshell, Nadia jumps up while holding the (very light)pan over her head, swinging down at the opponent while rapidly increasing Fred's weight. This move can severely dent or even break through steel, not to mention a human's skull.
Physical Description: Nadia is a little higher than the average human, with strong, muscled arms and legs and an overall healthy image, and can even fit in the beautiful category if she would ever stop frowning.
Eye Colour: Dark blue.
Hair Colour/Style: Her brown, semi-curly,mid-waist length hair is usually in a high placed ponytail that is tied with a black band that has a small human-shaped skull on it. She has two neck length curly bangs on both sides of the face.
Skin Colour: Slightly paler than the average human.
Clothing Style/Colours: Nadia wears a white shirt with a light, light blue sweatshirt over it, so only the top of the shirt peeks out of the sweater. Over that she wears a fashionably ragged gray tie that fades to black at the ragged edge with a skull at the very neck. She wears a pale, pale pink mini skirt that is striped in a scottish way with black stripes. It has a belt that has a skull pin on it. She wears long socks that go to her knees and she wears dress type black shoes. Basically, think old-school dress style.
Extra: Nadia has an unusual shaped mole on her neck. it eerily looks like a frying pan...
