The sun was just beginning to set, the shadows of leaves making patterns on the dark pelt of the female that scanned the outskirts of a rather large pack wearily. She had been wandering for days, heart broken as always and lost in a sea of her melancholy thoughts and feelings. The exhilarating feeling of leaving yet another dead end in her life behind was gone in the desolate days and nights of being alone.
If there was one thing she was tired of… it was being alone. With a disgruntled sigh the female lowered her aching body to the ground and closed her amber eyes, hoping that maybe she would awaken and be but a pup once more. A pup with possibilities of a brand new life.

Rose colored paws hit the ground leaving behind only the small cloud of dust. Ewan was partolling the outskirts of his new packlands. Though it was still fairly wierd to him that he was now part of a pack, having spent most of his life on his own as a wander. A sigh escaped his muzzle as he stopped for a moment and the wind picked up. A new scent caught his nose and he perked up, there was someone new in the area.
Moving quickly he crossed the pack land border and saw who was comming close to it. A brown female, and she looked tired. He almost couldn't help himself, it was in his nature to help another in need. Ewan walked over and laied down next to her shielding her from the comming winds. He would wait for her to wake up.

Aeryn dug her nails into the ground and whimpered softly. It was always the same dream, the same shades of red blotting out her vision. Seeing your one true love die over and over in your dreams every night since the day it occurred was enough to drive her onto the brink of insanity, and yet here she was, quite sane but horribly depressed.
The painful jolt in her nerves and mind were borderline excruciating, and the pain was enough to almost make her unaware of the new presence very close to her body. The femme jolted upright, sleep almost instantly wiped from her frame as she sat rigid staring into the eyes of the male who had laid so close to her. Closer than she had let anyone in a very very long time. Aeryn said nothing, simply moved herself slowly backwards, away from the being in front of her. Where the hell had she ended up this time?

A small smile came to his face as he rose to his feet again. "I am sorry miss, but you looked so cold i couldn't resist comming to your aid." He looked her in the eye and immeditly knew that this was his new project. This one needed his help more than ever. His tail went up and he shook out his fur, "Your about to enter The order of the rose's pack lands. I wouldn't worry too much they are kind and do not kill on sight."
Looking at her again he shook his head, "Oh,where are my manners?! I am Ewan, and i would like to help you" He said and bowed his head in respect for a female.

She didn’t believe him. After everything that had occurred in her life why should she? Just because he was a pretty male, just because he had a nice smile and could -possibly- lead her to someplace safe didn’t mean that the exact opposite couldn’t happen as well. Didn’t the order of the rose border on the reign of terror? And weren’t some of the most beautiful wolves located there? Her entire body quivered with the need to run. To get away to find a safe place.
But then he pulled a card she was not expecting. what was all of this formality… kindness… talk of helping?
“Help me how?”

"You are in pain yes? Perhaps from a lost love?" He could almost guess to a tee what was wrong with someone. Ewan wasn't called the knight of love for nothing, he had brought packs and enimes together. All it took was a bit of time and trust. "I want to give you happiness, that is if you'll let me"
It was easy to tell that she was scared of everyone and everything. This one went through something terrible and was permantly scarred from it. "What is your name princess?" He asked nudging her cheek slightly. He was a very soft and understanding wolf.
