Another guy on CF is telling me the car could be worth $15k. Guys, I really hope this deal doesn't fall through for me because this is money I could put to very, very good use.

Turns out the guy had no idea what he had. Unfortunately I was misinformed. It's not a '63 split, it's an '89 convertible. Still, worth at least $8,000. It doesn't even need paint or a floor. I'm paying $1,000 to transport it from Jupiter.
