Personaly I think the soviet prototypes are histerical. One of the odest is the S4M it's a small two round break action pistol that takes 7.62x63PZ. It was used manly for assasination. Search it up on google and you'll say WTF!?!

The AN-94 Abakan or the Saiga 2000 would have to be my two favourite Russian guns that aren't Kalashnikovs.

my favorite Russian gun-SKS, my Russian SKS has never jamedshot straight and withstood everything I've done to it, the scope, fold out bayonet, and grenade lug are a plus too

bulletmaster36 my favorite Russian gun-SKS, my Russian SKS has never jamedshot straight and withstood everything I've done to it, the scope, fold out bayonet, and grenade lug are a plus too That gun is delicious.

The Marble King The AN-94 Abakan or the Saiga 2000 would have to be my two favourite Russian guns that aren't Kalashnikovs. the saiga is pretty cool, but I like the RMB-93 better

The round it fires is the Soviet equivalent of the 30-06, which you can hunt moose with. The Mosin is a great gun, sturdy, reliable and accurate, it's just that nobody's in love with it because it's a bolt-action rifle and not an automatic.

It's literally too powerful to shoot in a rifle without hurting yourself. 50. BMG is as big as a rifle can get before it's no longer safe to shoot. The Mosin fires 7.62x54R, which will go through a brick wall and still have enough force behind it to kill somebody. Trust me, it qualifies as high-powered.
