His name is Godfrey Cedric Potter-Lockhart. We’ve known him for a few years now; mingling in the Harry Potter Subforum funneled into a long-lasting friendship that has endured multiple canon and environment changes, Godfrey growing and changing with his setting. Currently a beloved student to most Hogwarts staff, adored (and eyebrow-arched) by his family, and dating fellow Hufflepuff and musician Joshua Vulnero, Godfrey is destined for a future of bloody sex, success, and more bloody sex.

And we’re here to write about it.

For the next two weeks, members of the Wizarding World of Gaia are asked to make time to submit fanworks (fanfiction, icons, fanart, banners, etc) regarding Godfrey to the Livejournal Community, The Big Desk Guild. That is fourteen days of Godfrey stealing Adela’s barbies, giving Harry a hard time, blowing Josh under the covers, and fapping furiously to Voldemort’s lack of nose.

For those of you that like prompts, the loose prompt of all Godfrey Fest submissions should be the phrase “under pressure.”

When submitting a fanwork for Godfreyfest, please tag your entries with “subject: godfrey; under pressure” so that future browsers can sort through the Frey Love.

I feel like I've been neglecting the community in general lately. Haven't really felt up to roleplaying I guess, but I love these fests, it's such a good excuse to write and draw and make icons and everything. I think that's all I need really, is an excuse to do something for me to want to do it lately. Haha, I dunno...

Godfrey is my hero forever. If it weren't for Cassy roleplaying him I would have never met you guys, afterall. I remember going into the HP subforum and seeing all the ask threads. So I decided to make my Voldemort account and then along came Godfrey... I remember drawing art of him like, right away. And like, immediately wanting to naughty roleplay some Voldemort/Godfrey. Ohman.
