It had been another long day of school -assignments, tests and whatnot- but Ciel somehow still felt like he had too much leftover energy to spend and so he simply couldn't sit still. A rare thing for someone like him who'd usually preffer to sit quietly in one place and read. Maybe it was just that things were going great as of lately too, so there wasn't really anything to worry about on the moment -except maybe the possibility of bumping into Alexis and her friends while he was busying himself with whatever he would be.

Even so, he still had somehow failed to find himself a partner to go for a cup of coffee and small talk before returning home, therefor he decided to take along some literary company instead. His next step was, of course, to rush to the library and gather up some reading material. And yet, he -for another time- failed to find something that sounded interesting to him. This resulted in him exiting the library empty-handed and taking the long road downtown to find himself something to do, anything. Maybe he'd meet some familiar faces there instead.

The only thing he didn't want right now was to go home. Anything but that would do.
