Having led the group of former Towns ninja miles from the west Zetsumei was happy to finally see his home again. Running down from the crossroads in the western woods, he slowed to a walk as he stepped onto the bridge which led over a river and to the town's western gate. After all the construction, this once forgotten bridge had finally been finished while Zetsumei had been out on his mission. He turned around to face the group that had followed him all this way.

Looking from person to person, Zetsumei smiled to himself under his Anbu mask. With a little head movement, Zetsumei signaled for Eagle Eyes and Shadow's Edge to come up front next to himself. When the two reached him, Zetsumei insisted, "I think it's about time that we introduced ourselves, our real selves. You two can go first."

Finally back home, Kenji breathed a sigh of relief as it felt good to be amongst the life of nature once more. the plants and trees spoke to him, filling him with energy as he basked in the refreshing feeling he had missed in the devastated town. Stopping on the bridge to face their new companions, Kenji followed his leader's orders without question, stepping forward to stand beside Zetsumei. But then, when prompted to introduce his 'real self', he stepped forward once more, indicating that he would go first. Leaning forward slightly, Kenji reached up into his hood and dislodged the porcelein mask which hid his identity, and in one fluid motion, removed it and the cloak which hid him so well beneath.

Given his somewhat eclectic attire and the bright blue color of his robe, the change from the drab black cloak would be sudden, but enlightening. Standing tall, with the cloak and mask in his hand, which had fallen to his side, Kenji looked out to the others and bowed very politely to all of them. "It is a pleasure to finally be able to greet you all more properly. I apologize for the previous rudeness I showed you in our first encounter, but I believe you understand why such actions were necessary. However, now that we are allies, I can feel more relaxed to be myself around you. My name is Soryuu Kenji and I am a Chuunin of the Nameless Village... and it is my great honor to meet all of you."

Kenji's warm smile broadened beneath the mask he wore over his face, but it was more then apparent that he was wearing a beaming and friendly smile. His eyes showed a sense of peace and relaxation, and oddly enough were of two different colors, one being blue, and the other green... a dead giveaway to his unique bloodline.

Midori stifled a yawn as the group slowed down to a walk. By her standards the pace they had used to travel here was comparative to a brisk walk for a normal person. With not having a team since the arurm runners had broken up she wasn't used to having to slow down for others, thought she would have to get used to it if she expected to take on some students.

As Kenji ripped off the cloack that concealed his identity Midori automatically fell into threat assessment mode, a standard procedure that any experinced shinobi would preform. "Hum... I'd peg him for B.... no closer to A." She revised after some deliberation as gazed at him intently.

While not a sensor type with out the cloak disrupting her occular powers she could now clearly see his soul which shined like a vibrant beacon, much stronger then a normal person. He might be only a Chunnin in rank, but he was clearly capable otherwise he wouldn't have been chosen for the villages special forces.

"Zetsumei do you have a sample of the material your cloaks are made out of? The seals woven into them that help to conceal chakra would be useful for my research." She asked not mentioning how that where also effecting her vision as well.

Noting how Kennji had two different eye colors she scooted uncomfortable close to him in an effort to observe his eyes more closely. "Oh my god you've got heterochromia!" She exclaimed in barely contained excitement.

"I've read about the condition but I've never seen it first hand before!" She mused not drawing the connection to the fact it might be a bloodline since while somewhat rare heterochromia was known to happen from time to time.

Kenji had wondered what the reaction of his new comrades would be after he had revealed himself, but for a while, it looked like nothing would be said. After a brief question about the cloaks Kenji had obtained from the mysterious man in the underground shop at the center of town however, Kenji soon found himself quickly and quite uncomfortably close to Midori. At the sudden realization that she was staring into his eyes, his eyes widened seconds before he leaned back slightly, though not completely so as not to offend her or not seem friendly. "Herowhatsia?" Kenji had never heard this word before as he watched the woman curiously stare into his eyes with wonder and excitement. "Maybe it's another language?... or some kind of condition?... she is from a different region, and who knows how far away it is."

After some time of having the woman gawk at him uncomfortably close, Kenji finally realized that she must have been staring at his eyes, which given that they were both different and vibrant colors, would seem strange to most. "Oh..." Kenji exclaimed, backing up slightly to avoid the awkwardness of speaking so close to someone else's face who was still a stranger to him... "You must be referring to my eye color. Yes, they are in fact unique, at least among others I have met. Where I come from however, everyone has eyes like these, though not all awaken the powers which they contain and govern. The green eye (the right) is referred to by my people as The Forest Eye... and the blue eye as The Water Eye. They play a part of my people's connection to the forest and one of the many ways we are able to protect and care for it." Kenji then smiled to Midori and opened his eyes up wide staring at her somewhat playfully. "Perhaps one day, I can show you what it looks like when the Forest Eye is utilized."

When Kenji said herowhatsia Midori automaitcally launched into a explanation, something she was used to from her time training students... well back when she had students to train anyway.

"Het-ero-chor-mia" She pronunced slowly so that he would be able to pronounce the word properly "In anatomy,it refers to a difference in coloration of they eyes usually caused by either an excess or lack of melanin"

As she finished her mini lecture Midori suddenly realized that her extreme proximity to Kenji was making him uncomfortable. "Opps." She thought to herself, a deep blush of embarrassment on her face as she took a step backwards to give him more space.

Hearing him explain that his eye color was in fact because of his bloodline limit and not just a cosmetic genetic quirk caused Midori's eyes to widen in surprise. She'd heard of various occular powers before, but nothing like what Kenji was describing.

"Forest eye.... Water eye. What sort of miracles do they hold?" She thought to herself wondering how they stacked up against her own occular powers, thought they where undoubtedly better then the standard non crimson variation of the skyrider eyes.

"Someday Prehaps." she replied sounding vague figuring that if she came on too strong she was going to scare him off from showing her anything.

"I should try and build trust with this one. If his forest eye can do what I think it can, he could be an asset in teaching my child if it inherets it's any of it's fathers powers." She thought to herself resting a hand on her stomach which outwardly showed no signs of her pregnancy.

"In exchange I suppose I could give you a discount at the future store I plan to build." she offered with a friendly smile.

A smile formed under Zetsumei's mask as he saw his student becoming comfortable with Midori, a good choice to have on the side of 'friends.' No one wanted to see Midori angry, that's for sure. In fact, Zetsumei was glad that things went over so smoothly after all and that she hadn't tried to kill any of his team. Now that they were back home, everything could be relaxed.

In response to Midori's question about a cloak sample, Zetsumei offered, "If you'd like you can study my cloak, I don't use it very often anyway." Reaching up to his head, Zetsumei pulled the hood down and his jet black hair popped up. In one smooth motion, Zetsumei pulled off his cloak and mask at the same time. The most noticeable piece of his ensemble was the large red scarf hanging on his back.

With a smart a** smile on his face, Death said, "As you can tell, it works pretty well." Death knew that Midori could see souls with her eyes which was a helpful test for the cloaks' power. There were a couple reasons for Death pretending to be a stranger and calling himself Zetsumei, one of them being for testing purposes.

Holding out the cloak to his old friend, Death commented, "I guess you could call this even for the spiffy scarf you gave me." The scarf Death wore was a long time possession of his, Midori simply made it powerful for him and gave it fancy defensive properties. Which reminded Death, "Hey, I just remembered, I got you those scrolls I told you about. I've got them back at my place here and I could give them to you any time you'd like. Just be careful with them, they're originals."

Death noticed Midori place her hand on her stomach when she was talking to Kenji and for a minute he thought he saw something strange, like a variation in her soul color right where her hand was. Dismissing it as nothing Death just ignored it for now. As a 'welcome home' Death offered Midori a hug with his arms out wide. He had a little worried feeling that she'd be mad so he wanted to make sure she wasn't going to hit him. Hopefully a hug would be enough.

Flagenza

PostPosted: Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:08 pm

Flagenza took of his hat laying it on the ground and sat lazily his body wasn't tired but his mind was he had much to think about on the travel here. he wasn't sure how to affiliate himself.

He had realized the dilemma as his former village had given him orders now irrelevant and without his cousin in charge those orders would not be easily changed. Abandoning his former village would just cause issue's. He would contact the council later to clear this issue up but until he had that chance it would stress him.

he also wondered if trouble would follow the ninja's from towns. he hoped it wouldn't but it seemed inevitable when chaos still existed. And they all seemed to have there own demons to deal with.

Flagenza found Kenji interesting but he was most interested in hearing from eagle eye's. Her ears intrigued him, and he hoped the rest of her would to. but i f she was going to wait he'd address kenji while he was free to.

" kenji, does only the one eye have power? the other is simply named as a opposite based on colour?"

Flagenza missed having special eye's his special second bloodline had only been around for a mere glimmer, and he'd only managed to learn a few skill with it, thankfully most were in lightning style thanks to a certain clone ninja.

flagenza's chicks all cuddle up against him and he rubbed each of their heads intermitently

(ooc darn it death I didn't know you were positing... how do I respond to that, do we have the know edit rule here?)

Kenji bowed in respect to Midori's offer and smiled, glad to see that she was so receptive to learning of his abilities... "That is quite a generous offer my lady, but such compensation is not necessary. I would be glad to share a bit of who I am with you if you wish to see. I would enjoy the opportunity thoroughly." As Midori then turned to death, who was by now removing his cloak, Kenji got the distinct sense that he had been hiding his identity from these people for some reason... but had known Midori at least somewhat. "if the goal was to get them to come with us, why not take the easier route and show up as someone they already trust?"

Not truly understanding his reasoning, if there even was one, Kenji was pulled from his thoughts as Flagenza approached with a question all his own. "Well, the powers are not simply in the eyes so to speak, but rather, the eyes themselves are the windows to them. Depending on the ability I use, each eye will act differently. I have yet however to awaken the powers of my water eye though. I am still quite young for my people and have not had the time to properly commune with nature." Kenji wasn't at all embarrassed by it, but it did make him realize how long it had been before he had truly been with the forest excepting when walking through on a mission. He hoped that after they all got back to the village that he would have the time to do so.

[[Lol, sorry Flagenza. You can edit if you want or at this point you could just make another post, both are fine.]]

flagenza nodded at Kenji. " alright. so esentially from a strategic point their both possibly a threat, and from an interest veiw, very interesting." Flagenza smiled.

maverick( the largest of the chickens) walked over to Kenji staring at him very suspiciously. "Do you have any saki?"

flagenza let maverick do as he wanted while he pet the others who were mostly going to sleep.

when death revealed himself flagenza was a al ittle awe struck. he was silent for a minute before a glare came across. "You...really death you antagonized me to no end. I mean, we sparred together. I though i meant more to you." flagenza sound more pathetic and sarcastic as he went. he understood the ruse, or what he hoped had been a ruse.

Falta

PostPosted: Sat Aug 28, 2010 2:02 pm

Falta appeared in a flash of light just behind Midori. A seal appeared on her forehead for a moment then shattered disappearing for ever.

Falta was taller and looked even older, she was now a simple but beautiful young woman. she breathed in the clean new air and slowly breathed out with a smile on her face.

Its time to truly begin again, this is what Hizeru wanted.

She looked over at death and tilted her head to the left slightly. " Now when did you get here." Falta didn't know enough about Death to possibly connect that he could have been Zetsumi.

Falta reached her hand into the air and slowly a ligrey puff of smoke decended restin in plam. the smoke slowly turned into a small dragon who snaked his way down her arm and lay around her neck. "Welcome to our new home Puff." the dragon simply coughed out a puff of smoke and then closed his ye's as if to sleep.

she blew a puff o air out of her own mouth blowing so me hair out of her face. her hair was very long and she needed to get it cut.

maybe i'll change the style

She looked down and realized her komono seemed very short, nothing inappropriate but it did seem risque. she didn't remeber it fitting this weirdly before. She would have to get it extended. or just get a new kimono. she looke down a little flustered and simply smiled to herself cheekily.

( Death I have an severly edit profile based on .....um the "seal" history. I'll explain deeper if you want anyway, let me know if its addequate, should be toned down more or whatever.)

On the opposite end of the bridge which lead out of the town, a figure slowly appeared, walking from the surronding environment into plain sight with a scroll tucker underneath his arm. His face was somewhat hidden from a bamboo hat he wore, to keep the sun out his eyes, although he did look up a bit at the village, standing quite still. "So that's the new one..." he muttered underneath his breath before he began to walk once more, slowly towards the village with a small grin on his face.

Nameless Village | Medical Ninja | Chuunin

As the group got nearer and nearer to 'The Nameless Village', Eagle Eye's couldn't help but smile beneath her mask and pick up her pace just ever so slightly. As her leader slowed down to a walk, Eagle Eye's did the same dispite her eagerness to reach her beloved home. Stopping in time with her leader, Eagle Eye's positioned herself behind her leader and watched as he addressed the others. At the invitation to introduce themselves to their new allies, Haruko smiled and grew curious as to the reaction of those in front of them. Noticing from the corner of her eyes that Kenji had decided to go first and break the ice, Haruko simply allowed him and remained rooted to her spot as he revealed his idenity to their new allies.

As she remained where she was standing, Haruko found herself getting lost in the conversation completely forgetting to reveal her identity as well to their new comrades. What surprised her more than Kenji's explaination on his eye abilities was Death's connection to them. 'If he's so close to them, why hide our identites? What is it that reqires us, mainly him, to not reveal himself as he is to them. Is there enemies out there that he is wary of?' A flash of light woke Haruko from her train of thoughs as she spotted Falta appearing before seal on her forhead cracked chaging her immediate appearance. 'Interesting...' Noticing the small dragon, Haruko was now really interested in getting to know the two siblings even more. 'I don't really know all that much about summonings and I'm sure it'll be interesting to meet other kinds of summonings as well.'

Suddenly remembering that she had yet to remove her cloak and mask, Haruko decided that now was a good as time as ever and raised her hands to take off her hood revealing her long silver hair. Next she took off her mask and breathed in the fresh air of the clearing. '*sigh* It really is more enjoyable without the mask on.' Turning to address the group, Haruko gave them all a respectful bow before flashing them all a warm smile and introducing herself. "Pardon the late introduction. My name is Tsubame Haruko, a Chuunin of the Nameless Village and its an honor to make your aquintances."

When Zetsumei said that she could study his cloak becuse he didn't use it much Midori rubbed her hands together gleefully only for her jaw to drop in shock as he pulled off the cloak and revealed himself to be death.

And he was right, it DID work very well if it could fool a ninja of her caliber. Her first instinct was to check to see if this was some genjutsu but their was no mistaking Death's distinctive aura after she had spent so much time with him.

This explained so much, he had been absent frequently in the months before the villages destruction so he must have been secretly working on this place. Midori knew that he had similar powers to her own.

Death must have sensed time running out on most of the villagers lifes and begain prepairing for the future. Midori had to admit that she should have also seen it coming but she had been to busy burying herself in her research and her training to notice. "That's a mistake I won't make again." She vowed to herself

Still why had he bothered with such an elaborate ruse? All he had to have done was show up as himself and they would have followed him here as a matter of course no negotiations necessary. But the answer was self evident, he wanted to test if those special cloaks of his would stand up in the field against even the most rigerous odds.

When Death told her about the scrolls Midori scoffed. "Have you forgotten how meticulous I am already?" She teased as her mind still was processing her feelings about Death's revelation.

Despite the fact that she understood WHY he had hidden the truth she was still very pissed at him, the type of pissed that she usually got when she was likely to kill things. However her common sense overrode that urge because she knew Death was too valuable an ally and friend to murder over what was relatively a minor offense.

So she was going to settle for simply wacking him really really hard. Of course she knew that a ninja of Death's level would almost certiantly be able to dodge it, but even he wasn't stupid enough to try since that would only make her more cantakerious and increase the amount of pain she would rain down upon him.

But before she could act on her urge to throttle him she found herself being caught up in a huge from Death and her Brain immaculately shut down from the close contact, smoke figuratively coming out of her ears because she was simply not used to being touched, especially in such a friendly manner.

Her face a deep shade of crimson Midori looked away shyly and muttered weakly "fine, but you better not trick me like that again." all thoughts of pumpling death forgotten in her embarrassment

Falta

PostPosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 8:09 pm

Falta looked over at Haruko with her head tilted slightly to the left.

She'll do, she'll do just fine.

Falta walk towards haruko reaching out her hand with just tingle of chakra in her fingers. She hoped that haruko would take her hand as a friendly shake. If she took it it wouldn't take much to quickly send the chakra to Haruko's mind. The technique had no offensive application but thats what made it so hard to notice. It would just create a one way link from Haruko to Falta. Simply put it would, with a little bit of focus, let falta read some of Haruko thoughts. Most specifically she was placing it in the hormonal epicenter of Haruko's mind.

Since brother won't do anything for himself its time to do some match making.

Falta stopped in front of Haruko her hand still out. "You have a very beautiful village here, and your very pretty yourself. Say hello Puff."

Puff flew across to Haruko's shoulders and licked her right cheek lightly with his little dragon tongue.

Falta hoped, between her skill, the subtlety of the jutsu and Puff being a cute little thing that Haruko wouldn't notice the chakra flow into her mind.
