*Inspired by the DIP Natter page* So, I'm sure most of us writers listen to some sort of music while we're writing or are inspired by music in some way or another. So, what do you guys listen to? Feel free to post lists and link to youtube. Just be nice and don't judge. Who are we to say someone can't write an epic battle scene to Britney Spear's "Hit Me Baby One More Time." Try to give a warning or something if NSFW Oomph-Auf Kurs (Oh Gall DX)Oomph-Traumst DuThe Legend of Ashitaka (end theme) from Princess Mononoke (4:20 will blow your mind)A large portion of Symphony X's Paradise Lost Album, which I will not quote all up in here. LOLUh, well, I'm sure there's more but I can't remember.

Whee! I love this conversation. smile
It IS good to be a god. blaugh
You listen to Santana? I imagine a lot of Tiran music to be a bit of a mix between that and flamanco, so I listen to that a fair bit.
Otherwise, it's usually a mixture of Lord of the Rings soundtrack (Enya, 'into the west' - wow), Wolf's Rain soundtrack (somehow I write through the sad songs) and classical music.

Yay unhealthy obsessions! LOTR music is awesome.
OH MY GOD THAT IS SO FEN. Shane's guessing it's from FF5 - is he right? I need to know which one this is from!!!
OH GOD GRAVITY I cried pretty much every time I heard it at first, and it's one of the songs I have on loop if I have sad scenes to write.

Ahh. To be fair, nine was supposed to be harking back to the old games, so it could be a worse guess. I've never played nine, but Shane just watched that and reminisced about how hard that mini game was.
