A friend and I got bored one day and started a story. Not too unusual. The part that's bugging me is that she had some ideas that mine conflicted with. So we compromised, of course, and took a much from both as we could. Would it be wrong to write the story as I originally saw it even though we're still writing it? Should I tell her I'm doing that? I'd probably steal quite a bit from here, as we wrote a lot before discussing plots, and there are a lot of good bits I'd like to keep from both of us.

From a moral standpoint: Maybe. From a legal standpoint: No.
However, since you both worked on the idea, she should give you credit where it is due.

ask her call her write her I get a lot pf ideas from my brother but I ask him first if I going to use them for any thing
