Nyx was in her empty classroom, where she always went to when her classes were over. She was an extremly diligent student, making sure to practice as much as she could outside of class aswell. She was wearing her plain black leotard, leg warmers and en point ballet shoes as well as her pink cardigan. This was her almost daily uniform although when it go closer to performances she would swap out for an actually ballerina tutu. She practiced ballet as much as she could. The pink haired girl wanted to reach her goal of becoming the prima ballerina. She wasn't quite there yet but she believed that if she continued praticing as much as she could she would eventually be able to meet her goal. So here she was, her long pink hair tied up and practicing her fragile little heart out. Her ears pricked up as she heard someone come into the room and she turned around, her feet still en point to see Ara standing in the doorway. She dropped to her heels and smiled, waving at him. "Hi Ara! Long time no see. You look wonderful!" the younger, smaller girls said with a bright smile.

Nyx hugged her back, a large smile on her face. It has been quite some time since she had seen Ara last and it truely was a shame. After all the small female believed that she owed a lot of Ara, from the past. She had listened to her when she was having problems. They had been friends since they were little kittens. "It's brilliant to see you to Ara, it's been to long!" The female beamed back at her, noticing in the back fo her mind that Ara was much happier then normal and that was really saying something. Her long pink hair started to fall out of it's bun as she cocked her head to the side, curious to know what news she could possibly have that would make her so very happy. Her eyes widened and a huge grin spead across her face as she was pulled into the hug and she took Aras hands when she was freed. "Oh wow Ara! That's wonderful!! Congradulations!!" the female exlaimed, bouncing around in excitment at the news. She then laughed. "How excited is my brother?" she asked brightly, continuing to smile broadly. Woah, kittens. The idea of Ara having kittens made Nyx the slightest bit jealous, in the back of her mind. She was as young as Nyx was and yet she couldn't help but feel that Morph and Ara has so much more of a serious relationship then she did. They seemed like they were pretty much married where as it was obvious with her and Jiji that it was still dating. She tried to shoo thoughts away but she had been secretly thinking about it lately, kittens. She didn't want them yet though, they would get in the way of her dancing career after all.

Nyx smiled brightly at her but secretly she was so jealous. Nyx had always been a frail, sick little thing and although she had pushed herself into remission from her weak heart and frail body to become a strong dancer she still was anything from healthy. She still had to go to the doctors atleast once a month to check on her heart rate and such, making sure everything was alright. Although her physical development into womanhood seemed normal Nyx had been told that she would simply never be a mother. Her body was to weak to allow it and thus she was infertile. Only her parents and herself knew about this though. She hadn't even told Jiji yet. They had never really talked much about the future before but as the relationship became serious she knew that he had to know what he was going to be getting into. That they would never be able to have kittens of their own, that they'd have to adopt or use a surrogate and it hurt her so much. She felt like a failure, that she couldn't ever have kittens of her very own. "You guys are so lucky." she said with a soft smile, her voice quiet. The female then nodded. "Yeah I do. I really...really love him. He so charming and kind and caring and sweet but also strong. He lets me be independent but also lets me rely on him if I need to." she said, looking up at the ceiling. She then looked back at Ara, her eyes kind of serious. "Um...this might be a bit of a downer but can I tell you something? It's a secret that only my parents know....but I feel I need to tell someone else..." she said quietly, looking away, her face flushed.

Nyx blushed brightly when she spoke of Jiji. He really meant everything to her, even if they had only been going out for a short enough while. It was strange because when she was with him she left more like herself than she ever had before. It made her very happy to think that though, that unlike with other relationships when you lost yourself hers was different, she had found herself. She nodded, embarrassed. "Yes I will have to most defiantly bring him to meet you. I've never really been independent before so it's a big deal to be able to be independent with him." she explained. She then looked down at the ground, a little upset. "Well...I went to the doctors not long ago, because I'm in remission from my heart condition but the doctor told me that, that I wont ever be able to have kittens of my own, that I'm sterile." she said softly, wringing her hands. "I mean it's upsetting I suppose to know that I'll never have a proper family of my own, even though I'm young anyway."

Nyx nodded brightly. "Isn't it wonderful when relationships are like that? I mean I see Jiji every night but during the day I'm in the university dancing and hes in Anbu doing work there for his father. I don't know too much about what he does though because he doesn't really like talking about it but he lets me talk for hours and hours about my dancing, which really means a lot to me." she said with a soft smile. "I'm sure my brother is as good as my boyfriend is his own ways." she said with a nod. She then shook her head. "No no you're not rubbing it in Ara. I didn't mean to upset you by telling you, I just wanted to tell someone, you know? Jiji doesn't know yet and I'm too worried right now to tell him." she said softly, with small tears falling down her own face. "The doctor seemed pretty positive. Like he had test results and everything so I honestly don't think that it will change. The doctor said it wouldn't anyway." she said softly, sadly.

Nyx had her siblings to talk to and her mother but in general she didn't have a huge amount of female friends and she tried to spend as much free time as she could outside of dancing with Jiji. She had the other girls in her ballet troupe, of course, but they weren't really cats you could confide your deepest feelings with so she was very happy that she could talk to someone else about his who wasn't directly related to her. She was still too scared to tell Jiji about it, afraid that he might even consider leaving. After all a sterile mate is a useless mate, she though. She smiled. "I've heard about Elijah from him before, he sounds so sweet and I'm sure Morph will be wonderful with your kittens. He's always been good with kittens, often because he hasn't been one to grow up." she added with a giggle. The tears continued to flow though as Ara spoke. "But what if it doesn't? I mean at this point i'm lucky to be alive but there's only so many times I can prove the doctors wrong right? Eventually they're going to be right. What if this is the case? What if I can never make Jiji propperly happy?" she asked, the questions she had kept locked up inside of her splurting out. She felt bad telling Ara this, when she was so happy about her kittens, but Nyx didn't know who else she could talk to about this.
