The snow around the mountain is dangerous. If you are not carefull you could step into acid or hiddin explosives that have forgotten a long time ago. A single touch on the explosive and the device goes off, hopefully you can make it out in one peice

hiuya wasn't sure how long shed been there now only that shed probably die there she wondered why her parents had been killed she couldn't belive theyd been killed for such a dumb reason but when ever she asked the man who did it he always gave her the same reply she knew it was probably a lie though she heard a loud explosion a cat came prancing out merily and stoped uon seeing her in its path it hissed at her hiuya was cold and alone and scared when it hissed at her she actually fliched which seemed to confuse the cat it was merily a cat and she a person what such person would flich at the hissing of a mere cat it pawed at her arm curiously for a moment which scared her she thought it was going to bite her it seemed to be contemplating something it stared at her for a long tome then hoped onto her stomach curling into a ball as if to keep her warm it surprised hiuya she seen the person who had brought her there returning probably to see if she was dead yet ''shoo kitty go shoo run away kitty'' she mumbled weakily afraid hed kick it or stomp on it he looked down at her ''not dead yet huh'' he said seeming surprised then picked up the cat and threw it the cat layed in the snow unmoving after being thrown the person stomped on hiuyas arm which made her whine then he left her crying got worse the cat got up it had been faking and curlsed back up on her

Riding momentarily on the snowy winds, a lit cig had its 3 seconds of fame before landing on the fresh snow. Turning the flakes to water before its flame died out.
Terrick had noticed footsteps in the snow and had followed them and now stood only a few feet from the location in which everything had taken place. Though not a very large man by any means, Terrick gave am impression he was much larger then he was due to his large cloak of animal fur he wore to keep himself warm.

Terrick had his left eye shut, only his right open staring down the ironsight's of a crossbow. "Unlike you, i ain't to worried about leaving a bloody mess" Terrick said his eyes expression a cold hate while the rest of his face was hidden behind a thermal mask. "How about you put down the basket and he can settle this like men?" Terrick said, lowering his crossbow, and grabbing a knife from his belt.

Terrick slid the crossbow back into its holster and snapped it in so not to lose it during the fight. Drawing his knife from his belt, Terrick positioned himself in a aggressive forward stance, causing his balance to be greatly sacrificed. The hunter's eye narrowed as the winds picked up and his cloak whipped backwards with it.

"Lets get started then!" Terrick said, entering a charge his body already in a low lean forward. Keeping a low stance Terrick would slash for the gut with a upwards slash towards the throat. His hunter instincts going for the fastest kill.

The needles cut through the air, but due to the winds the thin metal needles would be effected and their angle distorted. This assisted to make Terrick's defense more effect. His thick robes and layered clothing probably would have given him a fine enough defense but that was risking it. Using his free hand to grab his thick fur cloak and pull it over the front of his body. Protecting his body as the thick skin and fur knocked the needles away from him. And at best the needles only managing to dig into the fur's thick skin.

Terrick released the cloak, letting his knife move freely as giving him back his "free hand" for defending. The distance cut due to his low stance run, Terrick closed the gap, his knife in his upwards swing. Chances high this would be blocked, Terrick planned on using the blade as a distraction and use his free hand to punch the man in side of the knee, causing his stance to break and his body to fall of balance. This would allow Terrick to knee the man in the face and hopefully knock him out without the need to kill.

(( i am a bit confused, the knife went in? the hits got in? its not quite clear O_o)

With his knife deep within the arm of the man, Terrick could easily manipulate the man's movements with pain. Twisting the knife, Terrick would direct the man's arm out, breaking guard and giving Terrick a almost completely clear opening. If not prevented Terrick would grab the man by the throat his eyes like a animal's, ready for the kill.

"Leave the girl be, that is the only condition i ask for your life on this day. Are we at an understanding?"

Terrick smiled gently,the killer instinct leaving his eyes rather quickly as all aggression in his stance and body appeared to melt away. He walked up to the girl, taking off his heavy fur cloak and placing it over her and the cat friend.

"You should thank that guardian angel of yours" Terrick said with a soft chuckle. After all it was only by chance he was in the area, some kind of godly intervention that he stumbled across the footsteps across the snow covered grounds.
