- Neneka: -Runs in. Spots the fluffy lion and runs over to him before starting to jump over him back and forth like a hurdle- Hey hey!
- Saba: -blinks and rolls over onto his feet after being hurdled over- o,o? Hello...You're quite bouncy, aren't you? -grins a little-
- Neneka: -Stops jumping over the lion- Bouncy? I'm bouncy? I never figured that. Hey hey! What'chya doing? -Trots around him-
- Saba: Heh. I had snacked and was laying on the hand the fed me but...-looks around and snorts- My plans appeared to have freed themselves up. What are you doing?
- Neneka: You lost your plans? Perhaps you should go find them. -Nods frantically- Me? I'm talking to you. Yep yep!
- Saba: -chuckles and shakes his head- Nah, they'll pop up again sometime. Or something new and more exciting will bring itself to attention. -grins- We can do other things in addition to talking. Perhaps a race or a swim? Do you know how to swim?
- Neneka: That's good good. -Tail wags happily- Swim? I don't know... have I? I don't think I've swam? What is swimming? -Starts to run around him-
-Isn't sure it would be a fair race since she's a cheetah-
- Saba: -blinks a little wide eyed- You've never swam? Ever? -snorts- Wow. Well then I shall have to show you. Let's find a body of water that has enough room for two to move around in. It'd be easier to show you what swimming is than me trying to describe it for you. It is fun though. I've been doing it since I was a cub. -nods with a smile-

- Saba: -blinks then chuckles- Okay then. Let's go. I think I know of a watering hole that isn't too far from here. We can start out slow and stick closer to the shallows. If you really pick it up we can gradually get into deeper water. How about that? -rises from his seat and strides off in the direction of the believed watering hole- Just don't get cocky. That's when you inhale water and start to panic. I won't let you sink or drown, but I'd just thought I'd warn you.
- Neneka: Sounds great! -Runs off in front of him, but then trots back when she realizes she doesn't know where it is- Lead the way. I will try not to get cocky, nope nope. -Follows after him, trying not to rush ahead of him-
- Saba: -watches her run ahead and angles his head slightly before running towards the watering hole- If you want to run, we can run. I know where it is, just stick close. And I'll keep a good eye on you so you don't have to worry about a thing.
- Neneka: I don't care... as long as it's fun. I like fun. Life is a big game! -She exclaimed still following after him-
- Saba: -laughs- Indeed and it is fun. Swimming is one of my favorite past times and it does well to help keep you cool when the sun is being particularly overbearing. -springs forward and continues running- It isn't too much farther.
- Neneka: Yay! I can't wait. -She watches him spring ahead. Wiggling her bottom, he took off after him, before eventually passing him-
- Saba: -looks over his shoulder and laughs as she catches up and passes him- Good. I'll be sure to keep it interesting for you. It won't do at all if I prove to be anything less than entertaining for such fine company. -runs up to playfully n** the tip of her tail- It ought to be ahead on the left.
- Neneka: That would be no fun. It's no good when no one is entertaining... then what's the point of living. Someone is always entertaining to someone else. -She almost gave a sage nod to this statement. When he nipped her tail, she jumped a bit, causing her to tumble over her feet and spill onto the ground. Sitting up, she just giggled and ran off again-
- Saba: Precisely! Life is too short to not be thoroughly enjoyed. -slowed slightly when the cheetah tumbled over herself, surprised at such a reaction, but sighed and smiled when she hopped up again to race off- Heh. Startled me there. -looks past her for a moment and nods- It's up ahead. Do you see it?

The hyperactive cheetah was glad to hear that the lion shared her view point on life. She always had this logic since she was a cub and had made a game of her constant traveling with her mother. As for her spill, her fast paced life almost constantly found her either, tripping on rocks on her own paws. "Oh... it's nothing really." She replied, looking back to him briefly before he brought up their final destination. Seeing the lake, she beamed, "Yep, yep, yep... there it is!"

The constant fever-pitch of the cheetah was amusing and yet easy to follow. "If you really want to, you can run ahead to watering hole and I'll be right on your heels. You seem to be practically buzzing." Saba looked ahead to the shimmering water head of them and grinned. It would be interesting, teaching someone how to swim. He could still remember when he and the other youngsters of his old pride were brought out to the water to learn how to swim. It had been fun but a little nerve-wracking. They had felt so small and there was just so much water. Plus the pride's belief in monsters in the depths of the sea made some of the other kids jittery. The act of teaching others to swim seemed like something he wouldn't ever really do, but here he was. The striped lion chuckled and shook his head.
"This will be fun, I think, a real treat. You aren't prone to panicking are you? You seem to be the excitable sort. If you do get nervous, just remember to breath deeply...Unless your head is underwater. That's kind of counterproductive to staying alive and learning how to swim. Although, you also seem to be able to bounce back quickly enough." He lightly teased at her tumble and quick recovery.

The cheetah had to constantly keep herself in check to prevent herself from just taking off and leaving the lion who would be her teacher in the dust. She had just finished hurdling over his back when he suggested for her to go up ahead to the watering hole if she really wished to. Her tail flicked, running up in front of him, but only slightly, as she then turned to face him, now running backwards. "Really? You sure, sure?" She asked, her attention briefly taken away to chase after her tail for a moment. Her attention returned to the lion as soon as it had left. Having remembered his comment about running ahead, she forgot her un-settledness about leaving him behind and took off, as if chasing her prey.
It wasn't long before she had to stop though, like all her chases, and she flopped over onto her side, panting heavily. It gave the lion plenty of time to catch up. Hearing his comment about bouncing back up, she looked to him, "I don't like staying in one place for long, nope, nope, nope." In fact, she was already starting to 'squirm' wiggling and gaining momentum to roll from her side, to her back, then eventually to her other side. She wanted to catch her breath already so she can learn to swim.

By the gods, was this cheetah vivacious! Or would hyperactive be a better term? Either way, her energetic bobbing and weaving, leaping and darting were most charmingly amusing. He had no idea any one thing could move so much. Saba did his best to track her with his eyes, but occasionally just shook his head with a chuckle. "Of course. I don't mind. It isn't as if I don't know where our destination is. Go right on ahead." And with that, the large dark lion watched her race off again. She probably was quite an effective huntress if she didn't leap out too early in her excitement and spook her potential prey. She seemed healthy enough, so he doubted that she regularly went hungry. Of course, what with her furiously high metabolism, he couldn't tell what it took to keep that energy going.
"Oop." Saba said to himself as he saw her just flop over onto her side up a head a good ways. Hm. She seemed too young to really have to worry about overwhelming her heart. Besides, cheetahs were created for that sort of running...Or was she hyperactive for a cheetah? His experiences with cheetahs were somewhat lacking. Even in all of his travels, only a few stayed around for any length to converse with him before going their separate ways. The lion jogged ahead to see if she was alright, slowing slightly as he drew closer. "Hey, are you okay?" But her squirming, wiggling, and rolling already seemed to answer his question. If she had actually hurt herself or otherwise overexerted herself, she'd probably be more still, maybe sounding in pain. She wasn't though, so that was good.
"Ah, I never got your name. A teacher ought to know their pupil's name, don't you think so? I'm Saba."

As she waited for the lion to join her by the side of the body of water, she continued to roll about. Her paws waved in the air, in attempts to catch her tail that flailed about as she rolled. Despite being very much an adult, she still acted like a cub. She didn't understand all the energy she had, but the cheetah did wonder if she drove her poor mother insane with it when she was younger when she would actually sit still long enough to contemplate things. The only thing she did know was that she turned almost everything she did into a game because of her and her mother's constant traveling they did. That was another thing she didn't understand either. Why did her mother move from place to place? It wasn't for food, it wasn't that the den was too small either. In fact, Neneka believed she asked once and the answer she received was, 'Lions, leopards and hyenas.' That was it. Was there something wrong with them? So far, from meeting this male lion, nothing seemed off. What was her mother worried about?
She stopped onto her side momentarily, lifting her head up when she heard something coming up to her. Seeing the larger cat approaching though, she went back to rolling about in the dirt, a thin coat of dust clinging to her fur. At his question, she looked to him as if he was silly. "Of course I'm alright. Yep yep yep!" She exclaimed with a small yip, followed with a happy purr.
"My name is Neneka! Yep yep... that's N-E-N-E-K-A!" She didn't know why she had to spell it out really, it just seemed to flow from her. "It's nice to meet you Saba. That it really is. It's so excellently, excitingly, great to meet new cats!"
