Report in if you heard the two sonic booms that the F15 fighter jets made over western Washington today as they raced across the sky after being scrambled from Portland, OR in response to a TFR violation in the Seattle area.
I was in north Tacoma at the time and heard them, and instantly recognized it as the sound of the air molecules ripping due to the double boom sound of it and knew that something had broken the sonic barrier. Took about an hour after before there was any reliable news coverage of it on the net though. A little disappointing.

Yea I heard it, and I live near Vancouver, Camas to be exact. It scared me at first I was like, wtf why is a plane flying so low? I guess you just explained the noise to me x3

Hahaha, I definitely heard it. Although I didn't hear two, but I guess everyone else did. xD
I was prettyyyy confused & scared. It was funny when I saw tons of people panicking.

Heard it in South Seattle...house shook too. At first I thought the dryer blew up, then I thought the second one was the washer....but since the dogs weren't going insane too long after I figured it was something outside...for some reason I instantly went to UFO though...>.<

Heard it in Bellevue. My mom and I just thought something big (like a bookshelf) had fallen upstairs, but when I went to check, all was normal.
