This is a private rp between Shin-Mu(Beejoux) and Huang Fu(Nyxstuki Moon).

Setting:

Imperial City.
Huang and Shin meet for a late night date, when conflict arises and both sides play with something bigger than they thought.

(This Event has happened before any recent Rp's including any Lunarians pairings to other Lunarians, thus inflicts the plot and feelings of both Lunarians for their current situations. Kinda of like a Prologue.)

Huang leaned against the brick of a random building, a shop from the looks of it as he waited for a special person tonight. The night had started to fall and though it was super dangerous at this time, he was the only way he could escape from his duties and meet Shin.

Truth be told, he had been super wary of coming here. While he had this nagging thought in his head, he wasn't sure what it was. He liked Shin, but he kept replaying their kiss in his head and it was just not making sense to him. He had sorta of liked it? He wasn't even sure himself. He had enjoyed her company, her talking to him. Yet he wasn't even sure of their kiss.

Added to that, He was unsure what he was even doing. Considering that he had never kissed anyone really, nor had he ever dated, or courted somebody like Shin. He looked down at his usual garb and thought himself a little undressed, at the same time would she care? What was proper with her for the way he was suppose to act, or how he was suppose to treat her. Sometimes he wished his older brother would give him lessons in courting proper females, then Huang would be less nervous tonight.

Pushing the negative aside he sighed and looked to the sky above, his face was still deep set with a frown as he waited for Shin to come.

While he waited though, he thought of their last conversation and while watching the sky, he began to form shapes from the stars. At least that's what he thought he was doing, but all he had we're a bunch of lines and dots. How Shin made shapes out of clouds was baffling, he couldn't even make them out of unmoving stares. He became unaware of his surroundings as he became fascinated with playing with his so called imagination. It helped keep his mind busy and occupied until his date arrived.

Slippered feet were nearly silent as the darkling noble moved through the twilit streets of the Imperial City. Gaze cast ahead at dark storefronts and few remaining bodies that passed her on their way home or else where. Aware of the odd longs and lingering stares that met her.

She didn't like the attention, but she couldn't exactly fault their curiosity. It had only been a few days since her altercation with ZhongXain, and a macabre blossoming of grotesque bruises decorated her left temple and brow, the color tracing down to stop just before the curve of her cheek. Sea foam green set in a frame darker then her natural shade, slightly bruised, but not quite blackened. Her shoulder and left wrist and hand as well was a wash with painful discoloration, the distinct shape of a rod outlined in deep purple, yellows and blacks where the other had struck her to cease her playing in the midst of battle. The blow to her wrist and hand had effectively won him the battle, she couldn't have continued playing, the blow to her head had been over kill.

Of course it was her pride that stung worst of all. Shame from the lose, bitterness towards the necessity of the battle. The legion could speak ill of nobles, call them what they willed and lay blame, but it had been Zhong that struck first, Legion that chose to trample a possible friendship for the sake of pride and blind hatred.

Dark fingers traced the edge of the bruise along her shoulder as she turned from one street to the next. A sigh cutting the still silent air. She was happy to be meeting Huang, happy for the distraction and chance to spend time with one she'd come to care for more then she'd ever cared for another. The memory of their kiss, though awkward, rested on her lips like soft dream.

Another corner brought the moon kissed lunarian into view, and didn't fight the sudden soft smile that tugged at glossed lips. Simply seeing him was enough to lift dampened spirits. "Huang." She approached from the side, not immediately apparent to the young man. "I hope I haven't kept you waiting." It was only then that a troubling thought occurred. Would he be repulsed by her bruises, turned away by the sight of her? Gods she hoped not..

Huang pushed himself from the shop's wall as Shin came to him. His gaze went from the stars that were overhead and crash landed on her face. He smiled as he stepped forward to get a closer look at her before frowning. Her pretty and delicately framed face was covered in a bruise that trailed from her cheekbones down to her neck and even farther to shoulder and her hand.

Awkwardness forgotten he studied her face as his face became tight lipped and his frown deepened even further. whoever did this, did it with the intent to paralyze, possibly even kill her. In truth, the bruises seemed to be a little over killed beating.

"Hello Shin Mu,"
Huang said the words as he trailed a finger over her bruised cheek, he was truly angry, no one ever should have to be forced with this kinda of pain, even if it was deserved or not.

"Who did this to you, and what happened?"
Huang looked down at her now with a worried look before glancing around the street and glaring at any passerby's. One of them, if it was recent was the culprit, and if not, he'd find out soon enough.

"Are they still around Shin?"
Huang took her hand in his, offering a little support and compassion.

The blossoming anger that filled his eyes and tightened his features stole away that delicate smile, replaced it with an unsure frown. The soft point of her chin dipping as if she would look away, but she caught herself, wrote of the sudden wash of shame as unneeded. She'd stood her ground, fought back, and though the injuries were ugly, they were nothing to be ashamed of.

She flinched at his oh so gentle touch, the tiniest of jerks before stilling under the warming of his finger. It hadn't hurt, but the skin was so tender she'd expected it to. "No, they're aren't here." The scent of iron an ash clung to his skin, and she drew that wonderful scent in, let it overwhelm her senses in a comforting wash. She'd come to value that laborious scent, because it reminded her of him.

A sigh parted dark lips, eased the tension in her shoulders, and she was smiling once again when she lifted her head to look up at him. Her own hand tracing a slow line up the length of his wrist along the palm that was raised beside her cheek. Dark fingers slipping up to intertwine with his so she could draw his hand down to her lips so she could lay a soft kiss against one worn knuckle.

"An act of kindness backfired. I wanted to show my gratitude and return something borrowed, but blind hate was all that met me." Pale brows pinched, bitterness making her voice hard. She didn't want to dwell on her battle with Zhong though, it brought her nothing but bitterness and irritation. She wished only to think of the young man before her and forget her woes, if only for a few hours.

Huang watched Shin's face, unsure of her emotions. She had shown a delicate smile that was instantly covered by a frown. Coupled with her frown, her lily pad green eyes we're drawn downwards as if shamed by the event that had transpired to cause her such pain and marks on her lovely face. It truly angered Huang that somebody so crass would mar such a pretty thing.

He gritted his teeth as she jerked back, her face still tender that even the barest of his touch hurt her. He growled in frustration that there was no one here for him to take his anger out on. closing his eyes, he let out a soft sigh before aligning his thoughts. She didn't need his anger right now.

"Alright..." Huang was unsure of how to proceed right now, even as he tried to let go of the anger, he proceeded to study Shin with watchful eyes. As she took his hand in hers and kissed his knuckles, he felt a sudden softness in him for her. Truthfully it scared him.

"That is ridiculous!" Huang pulled back as she described her situation and ran his hand through his hair. She had been doing a kind gesture to somebody, and was rewarded with brutality. And over what? Somebodies blindness to see what a soul she was? "I am sorry..." Huang's voice whispered and he took her hand in his, "We will walk then, and forget of your event, surely as we walk, i can ease the pain you feel." Huang wasn't sure why he felt so poetic to her right now, but with how she looked coupled with their setting, he wanted to do something nice for her. As his one hand held hers, the other dipped into a pocket of his clothing to finger a necklace he had made of her. He planned to give it to her as a trinket, since she enjoyed them so.

When his outrage made him withdraw she let him go, delicate fingers slipping away from his hand, ready to be disappointed, but met instead by his gentle touch to her hair. It made her smile, soothed her nerves, and when he took her hand she gave his a grateful squeeze. It was of great comfort to her to have someone else angered on her behalf, outraged as she was with the entire situation. It had been unfair, cruel, unneeded.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, Huang. This is not your doing." She have his arm a soft pet, her dark hand settling at the hallow of his elbow. She had a moment of cold vindication, where the idea of naming her abuser blossomed quite colorfully in her mind, but she squelched it away. It was shameful to hie behind Huang and let him fight her battles. Her pride simply wouldn't allow it.

"A walk sounds lovely, and I'm sure it will do wonders to soothe my bruised body an pride." She turned a smile up to him, beautiful even surrounded by the dark wash of ugly bruises.

A gentle pull on his arm started them walking. No destination in mind, least not in her own mind. In that moment, nothing sounded so wonderful as to aimlessly wander under the stars. There was no one she'd rather be with either, Shin had come to Value Huang above all others. Selfish, but true. He sped her pulse, made her stomach come alive with butterflies at the simplest touch, and the taste of his lips still lingered on her mouth. She was woefully attached.

"I still worry for you Shin." Huang sighed as he kept trying to put the anger behind him, but it was hard. He was not one to let such a beating go unanswered especially for someone he cared about, especially even more so a Lady. But truthfully he needed to put this behind him and concentrate on the night. It was beautiful night they chose to walk along the path, stars twinkled, lighting their footsteps that echoed silently through the street.

Huang wrinkled his nose as he thought of a way to give the necklace he know jingled in his pocket to the maiden he walked with. Even now he was a bit nervous as he thought of what her reaction would be to it. Would she be thrilled or be disappointed? Trying to calm his mind, and after walking with her in silence for a bit, Huang waited till the moon rose a little over the buildings before pulling Shin to a halt.

"Shin, I..." Huang ran his hand through his hair and grimaced, he didn't know why this seem so hard now. "I made something while i was working in the metal shop today." Huang pulled his hand out of his pocket, the silver chain dangled delicately in his hand. Intertwined on the chain we're two charms, one of a blossoming flower and one of curved leaf, like it cradled the blossom in its own petals. He held it out to her uncertain of her reaction, "I was hoping you would accept my gift to you." Huang held it out in both hands now looking at her with a bit of confusion on what to do next.

"I appreciate that worry." Her voice was soft, at ease. Chin partially lifted in his direction so she could glance up at him now and again as they walked, though still keep an eye on where they were going. It was dark, and she'd twisted an ankle once in his company, twice would have been too careless. "Though the necessity is bothersome." She would have loved to promise that he would have to worry no more, but it would have been a lie. They lived in dangerous times, and violence surrounded them.

She offered him a softly perplexed look when he pulled her to a stop, pale brows arching gently. He spoke, though only got as far as her name before nerves got the better of him and forced tanned fingers back through magenta hair. A pretty frown followed those nerves, and she gave his arm a reassuring squeeze.

At the mention of a gift though she perked up, the frown slipping away with the up turned curl of dark lips. Kissable lips prettier for the smile she wore. "Did you really?" It was enough to lift her spirits into the clouds. She adored gifts. Both a new possession, and the knowledge that someone was thinking of her. It was twice as sweet coming from Huang.

When she way the hand crafted pair of charms her breath caught in her throat in a surprised gasp, free hand snapping up to press against her chest. "Oh my goodness. That's so beautiful, Huang." Her voice was so soft it was barely a whisper. As he held the necklace out to her, she stepped closer, sweeping her hair up and out of the way so he could fasten it around her neck for her.

When it was clasped at her nap she let her hair fall back past her shoulders. A step forward placed them barely half an inch apart, and she placed her fingertips against the flat plains of his stomach. "Thank you." Going up n tip toe as she leaned in so she could press her lips to his in a kiss.

Huang smiled softly as at her surprise. It was lifting to know that his hard work had not gone to waste. Well it had been hard to make for her, especially since he didn't know exactly what she liked. The blossom charm stood for when he met her on top of cherry hill tree. Fond memories, Huang clasped the necklace around her throat before she turned around. Her hands lay on his waist as she reached up and kissed him.

His eye's closed trying to enjoy the moment, but for some reason and all, it still felt awkward to kiss her. He pulled back and smiled at her, focusing more on her appreciation for his gift to her than there constant awkward kisses. For all Huang knew, kisses with girls were just awkward in general.

Slipping his hand into hers, he tugged her to continue their walk. He remained silent as he tried to think of something to say.

"Ah, So..."
Huang shifted as he kept her hand clasped in his. "What would you like to do?" Huang smiled sheepishly at Shin.

Her lips tingled where they met his. Like a static shock, only duller, more constant. It made her heart flutter, fingers tense where they rested on his hips. It would have been perfect, but again that niggling awkwardness crept in as she withdrew. Something off, not right, and she hadn't the faintest what it might be.

She pushed it away though. Determined to enjoy the evening, her company. What oddness may lay between seemed only to raise when they kissed, and frankly that was not something she cared to poke at too stubbornly. If it were anything bad, anything unwanted.. Well. It was a worry for another evening.

"Perhaps we could let our feet lead us." A moonlit walk sounded just about right.

She squeezed his fingers where they interlaced with hers. Free hand lifting to trace the tips of dark fingers along the pair of charms that now lay against the hollow of her throat. It meant a lot to her, perhaps more then he knew. The charms themselves, that they were hand made, a trinket. It made her smile. Lovely even with the dark bruises. He'd wanted to distract her from the lose, the injuries, and he'd done a wonderful job of it thus far.

"It's a beautiful night, the stars are bright, and there are countless streets we could wander." She paused, sea foam gaze turning up to him. "Unless you had something else in mind?"
PostPosted: Tue Sep 14, 2010 1:29 pm

Huang relaxed as they walked quietly down the path. the night air was still brisk and their way was only lit by the lanterns of the shop owners and the moon over head. It was odd to him to walk down the streets he had come to known as so busy in the day, but now it was rare to see people even out at night.

Even as he thought that, they headed deeper into the shops and he was pleasantly surprised to see couples such as Shin and himself with the same idea. They walked romantically hand in hand or the man with his arm around the woman companionably. Huang studied every couple as well, his eyes drifting between all of them to see if they had the same awkwardness that he did, but alas they all looked happy and quite at ease with here partner.

What was it about Shin that made Huang so unsettled? He thought of her as beautiful and strong, very smart and easy to talk to. Yet in his heart, it wasn't the passion he had felt when Jianyu had kissed him, or the heat he felt towards him. In truth it was almost friendly.

As their walked continued and he remained in silence, his eyes wandered to a certain teashop over ways. Although it was still night, he saw that it was still opened and smiled. Maybe Shin would prefer a cup of tea and they could chat there. His smiled widened even more as he led her closer to the shop and realized that it was the boy's he had met earlier, Zhong's shop. He had been meaning to find himself here someday, why not tonight?

"Would you like some Tea here?" Huang smiled at Shin, "I think i may know the owners son here." Zhong was a fellow legionnaire like Huang and though they had met each other only once, he had enjoyed the others company. It would be nice to see him again.

The passing of other happy couples drew Shin's pale gaze, and their closeness, how at ease they seemed with each other, made her cling all the tighter to the young man at her side. There was something there, something missing from her own relationship with Huang fu, but she just didn't know what it was. It was unsettling.

Though not nearly as unsettling as the street they now walked along. She recognized the fronts of the shops to either side, the signed, the bend lazy curve of the road down and to the right. A frown over took the benign smile that had been resting on soft lips, tension singing up her arms as they wandered ever closer.

She was hoping, preying he would not lead them to the stairs of the accursed teashop. But of course, as so often happens when you want desperately for something not to come up, not to happen, it does. He asked her if she wanted to stop for tea, and the dark noble stopped in her tracks, grip on his arm tightening to pull him to a stop beside her. Refusing to go closer. "No." Her voice was quiet, but firm, chin lowered so gaze remained directed at her feet.

He knew Zhongxain? Where they friends? Pretty lips curled, an ugly scowl that was blessedly hidden by the fall of her bangs and the smooth plains of blush hair the fell along either cheek. "I will not step one foot within that business, Huang. I'm sorry." One slippered foot slipped back, then the other. Backing away from the store, and if Huang did not move with her she'd let his arm slip from her grasp.

She wouldn't so much as darken Zhong's door step with her presence, let along offer him or his family her business. It wasn't just the son, but the parents as well, for they had taught him his allegiance, his hatred for the nobles. Her shoulder gave a painful throb, and she lifted her free hand to rest against the spread of dark bruises there.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 20, 2010 2:56 pm

Huang frowned as he felt Shin tense up and it deepened as she stepped back from the teashop. It was a respectable shop and to not to want to offer the business some customers, even late at night was ridiculous. He looked back at the door and then to the windows and saw the faces of many happy customers, even couples. What was it about the shop that made Shin turn away when it looked just the right place for them to be?

Cocking his head, he studied her as she unconsciously covered her bruise with her arm and looked at the teashop with malice and hate. Confusion clouded his features.

"I do not understand, it is a good shop, A good companion of mine lives and runs this shop, Zhong has invited me a time to come and i would like to share this visit with you."
Huang stepped down to where she was before coming behind her and gently pushing her towards the door.

"Come Shin, do not be afraid, Zhong is a nice and interesting boy, I am sure you will like him." Huang smiled behind her, still a little confused at her reluctance and worried that maybe she was already tired of being with him.

The grip she'd laid on her shoulder tightened, almost painfully, but it was nothing to memory of the impact that had caused it. Whatever calm she'd managed to collect during their walk was gone, and she stood rigid, scowling up at the tea shop from the far side of the street.

That was until Huang had stepped around behind her, giving her a gentle nudge towards the door. He even managed to get her moving a step or two before she dug in her heels and refused to move no further, head shaking, perhaps a little rapidly. "No, no." It wasn't just their presence there that was causing her distress, though that had certainly been the cause, but Huang's comments were like an icy fist around her heart.

They were friends. Something that she could easily forgive, but it certainly complicated things greatly. Would he remain on her side, outraged at her injuries, or jump to that of his friends? The thought made her shiver, hands shaking where they clutched at her arms. "I can't." She looked away from him, head down and to one side, only to find the forgotten shards of the clay teapot that had shattered against her arm.

She bit her lips, almost hard enough to draw blood. Thin shoulders rounding. "He is certainly interesting, and I did like him when first we met.." Her voice was hollow, almost defeated. "Do you see the ceramic pieces littering the street, Huang?" She nudged one with the toe of her slipper, flipping it over to show the cracking paint that had formed designs on it's surface.
