Huang sighed in relief as Kyung accepted the battle request. In truth he was afraid the boy would flat out reject him and it would be over before Huang could give it a chance to begin something with the other boy.

Taking one glance at the tree they had shared not even a few moments before and back to Kyung, Huang eye's changed from cold to driven with purpose. He started to advance towards Kyung with the intent to attack, his strides we're long as his legs stopped him in front of the boy before Huang looked down at the bare chest.

"Right choice Kyung, The minute you accepted..." Huang let his hand press into Kyung's chest, feeling the other boy's heartbeat before he pushed so hard that Kyung would stumble and fall, "You made up your mind about us." Huang face remained stoic as he continued his advance over the boy. He wasn't going to hurt him physically really, he had promised not to strike Kyung again and he always kept a promise.

But even so it would make the battle hard, he would have to revert to a grappling style or so, which in the end could turn out very bad for Huang himself.

"Prepare yourself Kyung," Huang whispered, he was talking about his next attack and for more, if he could win, if he would win, somewhere in his heart he hoped that Kyung would come to accept him, "For what's next..."

Silver orbs watched the Legionnaire carefully. He had to be on his toes or else... he would end up getting seriously hurt. Be it his pride or body, in the end one or the other would be bruised no matter what.

He sucked in a breath and flinched when the other boy pressed his palm to Kyung's chest. It was a large hand, covering the area above his heart with ease. He could feel the calluses on Huang's hand. Completely different form his own smooth palms. Then again, Kyung was still the son of a noble, b*****d status or not. He was entitled to certain benefits, such as not having to work. And, his weak physical constitution prevented him from training hard like those on the path to becoming a warrior. Naturally, he was soft. Weak.

But, given that he was training to be a scholar, his weakness was justified. There wasn’t much else he could do. He had no intention of being a monk nor would his father let him.

"Nggh!!!"

The cobalt Lunarian fell backwards on his bottom at the sheer force at which Huang had pushed him. Luckily, he wasn't hurt. Instead, he was left sitting on the ground feeling very surprised and very unhappy. And regret. Picking himself up from the ground, he brushed the debris off his pants and turned to look at Huang again. His lightly colored eyes were narrowed, a small frown tugging at the young man's lips at Huang's words.

Huang spoke confidently. It irritated him. But, only because he knew that Huang had every reason to be confident.

He stepped back from Huang and shifted into the White Stork defensive stance he’d seen his half brother practice so often from his courtyard. The boy’s foot work was terrible; his center of balance too weak. His right foot forward and left foot back and pointed to the left, they formed a ‘L’ shape. His right hand was at level to his waist, his palm facing towards Huang. His left arm was raised at level to his eyes, the palm facing upwards to the sky.

Huang would've laughed if he didn't try to treat the situation with a little dignity to the other boy. While he wanted to show Kyung some respect, it was hard when faced with such a sad defensive move.

Smirking, he came over to the boy again and circled him, studying how Kyung now faced him. "You know, it would be a lot more effective if you knew what you we're trying to defend Kyung." Huang sighed as he stopped at Kyung's back before sliding forward in one quick move, his breath tickled the back of Kyung's neck, "The idea is to make sure i don't come near you." Huang grabbed both of Kyung's wrist and pulled them behind his back, pinning them.

"Your not doing a good job of keeping me away..." Huang whispered into Kyung's ear, "Your so keen to keep me away, but here i am, almost holding you, Is that what you really want? Me holding you?" Huang sighed again before letting the boy's hands go and stepping away. He knew he had the advantage in the situation and he was going to show Kyung just what that really meant.

"Again, Defend yourself from me." Huang circled Kyung again in a predatory gait, "Do something."

Terror. That what this feeling was.
As Huang's hot breath came down on the nape of his neck, Kyung trembled gently. It had never occurred to him just how experienced his opponent might have been in the art of stealth. Yes, he had seen the well developed muscles on Huang's arms, but he'd never put much thought into them until now. Now that he might be hit by Huang any moment. He had expected for Huang to be experienced in fighting, but he didn't expect for there to be such a large gap in their physical prowess.

He grunted and his knees buckled him every so gently as Huang jerked his arms back and pinned them behind his back. Complete submission on the very person he was trying to take down. Blood rushed to the boy's cheeks at Huang's words. The legionnaire was toying with him.

It frustrated him ever so slightly. The fact that Huang moved so easily, silently, quickly through the dry undergrowth. That the debris crackled like fireworks whenever Kyung took a step forward. It was utterly ridiculous, the differences in power between the two.

Kyung closed his eyes for a moment to steel himself. Courage, he needed copious amounts of it if he was going to come out of this fight with at least a fragment of hi pride intact. He took a deep breath before balling his hands into fists, knuckles turning white from the force at which he clenched them. Then, the cobalt Lunarian ran towards Huang.

He didn't shout in rage, no sound. All that could be heard in the clearing was the loud crunching of leaves under the boy's soft soles as he charged at Huang.

He raised a fist. It would be nice if he managed to give Huang a black eye, not as retribution for the broken nose but that the other Lunarian had ruined the cherry tree hill as his favorite spot with a few words.

Huang watched in a kind of sick amusement. As he had let the other boys hands go he had saw the slight blush. Even then he knew that either the boy was flushed with anger or that he had been embarrassed by the position that Huang held him. To be honest though, Huang knew that was the opportunity that proved to be the most excellent of problem for other boy. If Huang knew how much it would've bothered Kyung to be pinned down, he would've taken yet another different approach. But he didn't know, and that would be his saving grace.

Huang could see frustration of the other boy as he studied him. Kyung was becoming pissed with just how much of their prowess was different, even Huang could tell the difference in their first fight. While Kyung had a sharp, ego splinting tongue, he was no more a fighter then the very tree they sat together at.

He stopped his circling as he watched as Kyung closed his eyes, Huang was almost tempted to attack then. One quick move and he would have Kyung done for. Yet the other part wanted to see how Kyung would react, to see what he was planning and that side won out. he watched in a cool kind of state as Kyung opened his eyes, and though he stared at Hang with hate, Huang reveled that he was the boy's center of attention.

Though when Kyung came running at him, Huang didn't move and braced himself for the blow to come. He didn't move his arms to defend himself, he didn't budge in his spot. As he waited for the blow to come, Huang smiled a bit, maybe Kyung would actually do some damage to him? But he seriously doubted it.

The sight of Huang bracing for the impact caused for the cobalt Lunarian to draw to a sudden stop.

Standing less than a centimeter away from the other boy, Kyung already knew the outcome of this battle. Yes, he hated Huang. Yet, he knew that he lacked the resolve for this. No matter what kind of a childhood he might of had, Kyung could never willing physically beat someone. Words and punches were different. It was so much easier to tear down a person with words. After all, words always left behind the deepest wounds. A broken wrist, a broken rib, or a sprained ankle, all these things took several weeks to heal. But, a pride or relationship cut down with words took years, even decades to repair.

This was a battle. However, that did not mean he had to engage in a physical battle with Huang.

Standing so close to the other boy, it didn't bother him at all. His nose almost touching against Huang's own. How could it? The issue of the problem was that Huang put him to ease. Perhaps, too much ease. That the steel fortress around his mind and soul fell so easily to this stranger.

It was just something Kyung could never allow. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

"Did you expect for me to hit you?" The words lingered in the air. Venom dripping from the boy's voice. Kyung raised his hand and brought it down as if he might strike Huang's cheek but brought it to a complete halt just a hair's breath away from the Legionnaire's face. "Or, if you didn't then perhaps you did just now."

Letting the tips of his fingers fall on Huang's cheek, Kyung stared at the boy stoically as the slender digits ran across the other Lunarian's bicolored scales. Then, curling his fingers, he dug his nails lightly into Huang's face before pulling down quickly. It was light enough in that it was the equivalent to a stinging sensation but deep enough to draw blood. "I've made you bleed. What will you do now? Will you beat me? Cut me as well?"

Kyung sneered. What more could a Legionnaire do besides resorting to violance in retaliation? The fact that Huang had challenged him to this silly battle was proof of that as well.

Huang cracked a eye as he felt no blow from the other lunarian and sighed. Kyung was intimately close to him now, so close that their breaths we're mingling together. Huang's other eye opened just as slowly until he both of them we're staring at Kyung, his full attention on the other boy.

He could almost see as Kyung processed a million thoughts at once. His eyes always took on a cold glassy look when ever his mind zoned out. Huang watched as, probably unknown to Kyung himself, his thought played out in his eyes. Huang could almost taste the words that Kyung would say next, he guessed that the boy wouldn't hit him and if he had, Huang would've lost his resolve for this battle. To be punished physically, it was a rejection in the truest of forms. But when punished with words, though it cut deep, with time and effort, Huang could turn Kyung's words from hate to friendship like they shared before, and even to more as Huang wished.

Huang waited, it was unnerving as his body shook from anticipation and controlled reflexes.

"Yes." Huang stated bluntly, His eyes remained locked with Kyung's even when the once raised hand, one meant to strike caressed his cheek. Confusion clouded his mind for a brief second as he felt the lightest of touches, setting his body heat rising. Even as their gazes remained locked, even as Huang felt the sting of the boys nails graze his cheek, drawing the first blood of this battle, Huang didn't move.

Raising his hand to his cheek, Huang smirked a little before leaning down and pulling Kyung's hand that had the slight color of his blood staining the tips, kissed the fingertips, licking his own blood off before letting the hand drop.

"I won't beat you, and I won't cut you, seeing as i already left my mark on you." Huang joked in light of the situation before wrapping his hand around Kyung's waist and bringing the boy closer to him, like a tight embrace. Huang really wanted to tire the boy out though, and wrapped his other hand around Kyung's back, squeezing him tight. "What will you do Kyung? Will you struggle until you collapse from the sheer effort? or will you admit defeat and save yourself the trouble of such physical contact? Either way, Your pride that you treasure so much will be taking a hard blow." Huang whispered in the boys ear.

Kyung watched silently as Huang pressed his lips against his fingers. How brazen, the legionnaire actually dared to go so far as to lick the blood off.

Something inside him recoiled as the other boy's tongue gingerly moved across the surface of his finger. It was the same feeling that had coursed through him when Huang had kissed him only minutes before. The all to familiar sensations of distrust and cynicism. The desire to strike Huang until he could no longer stand was only offset by his urge to emotionally abuse the other boy until he became something of an empty shell. It was all too similar to what he had seen the spiders in his garden do during courtship. A sickeningly amusing thought, his eyes glimmer for a fraction of a second.

Kyung was pulled from his vindictive thoughts by the strong arm that wrapped around his slender waist. His body instinctively drew away, but with no where to turn to he merely found himself pressed closer against the very thing he wished to flee from. Pressing his palms against Huang's chest, he attempted to pushed the other boy away. It was no use.

Curling his fingers into a ball, he began to pound his fists against the other boy's chest with all his might. His eyes widened and he froze when he heard the whispered words. His head fins pulled back closer to his head and flared out in a display of aggression. At this point, words couldn't appropriately convey how the cobalt Lunarian was feeling.

"Let go of me right now."

The words were barely above a whisper, something akin to a hiss and heavily laced with malice. If the legionnaire didn't release him soon, Kyung would break the boy's nose at the least. The method was beyond him at the moment, but nothing a little rage couldn't recall.

Huang smirked behind Kyung's back as his hand ran up the other's boy back. He leaned his head in to sniff the other boy's hair, savoring the scent as he did pull back to look at Kyung. Even when angry he was attractive, it was sickening to himself that he could be so head over heels when the person he was with obviously hated his guts. But at the same time, Huang had lost enough now and Kyung would not add to his pile.

Cocking his head slowly, Huang had to think quickly. He had promised not to strike Kyung but because the other boy was just as stubborn as he was, He had promise not to harm him. But after all, his plan to tire Kyung was not working, while Kyung's body seemed weak, his mind was sharp and his passion to win drove him beyond his limits.

It made a tingly feeling in Huang's stomach to know that Kyung hated him so. I am really a sick man, Huang thought to himself before he pulled back far enough from Kyung.

"Sorry Kyung..." Huang cocked his head as his arm drew back and formed into a fist, aiming for Kyung's gut. As he felt the contact and Kyung keel over, He immediately grabbed the boy and lifted him so that he laid over his shoulder, "I think i am smitten with you too much." Huang sighed as he held the other boy, unsure if he had knocked him out or if the other was still regaining his breath. He waited to hear a sound from Kyung before taking any future steps.

Kyung narrowed his eyes at the Legionnaire's comment. What was this bloody fool talking about? He caught movement in his peripheral vision and turned to view just what it was. However, the boy was too slow to dodge and Huang's fist connected with Kyung's stomach.

Kyung's pupils dilated in shock as the legionnaire's fist made contact. It was like the time his half brother had rammed him in the stomach with a sword sheath just a few months ago. Though, that had been a cruel form of child's play. A teasing, the usual dislike between half siblings. An unfortunate event, it was one of many unavoidable encounters with his half family the b*****d child had; one of many bad memories.

A dull, painful throb that slowly spread out from the area of impact. That b*****d. He grit his teeth trying to fight the urge to pass out. He was going to dump Huang's dead body into the river whenever he woke up from this. Letting out a grunt, the boy's knees buckled as he passed out into Huang's outstretched arms.

Mind sinking into darkness, the boy could only think of the warm that seemed to be encompassing him.
