HistorySkylar was raised by his mother and lived near a beach, where he goes to be alone. His mother told him that his father left her after he was born. He went to school and had a pretty normal life growing up. Thunderstorms only come and now and then. When they do, Skylar sometimes just sits by the windowsill and watches the flashes of lightning. One stormy night, hellhounds and other monsters had came to attack them in their own home. He was told immediately what he was and driven to Camp Half-blood. His mother made him go to the borderline, while she sacrificed her life to let him live.

Don't forget:Even though he likes the beaches, he avoids going into the water due to his fear of drowning. Although he was taught to swim after drowning when young, he stills doesn't go into water if he has a choice.
