Well, you could make it a masquerade thing, where it's semi-formal and all. And then the guys have to bring a rose with a black ribbon on it and hand it to the girl they like... xd Oh and your cake can be phantom style!

The Rogued girl Well, you could make it a masquerade thing, where it's semi-formal and all. (To bad my sweet sixteen was years ago or I'd so do this xd ) Of course you'd play Phantom music, but you could make cookies shaped like half masks and a cake shaped like a rose/mask OR You could have a movie party. A Phantom marathon, if you will. Presents and cake first, right? Then: Lon Chaney, Claude Rains, Herbert Lom, Robert Englund, Gerik, (the guy who plays) Winslow...watch them all! (Assuming you have them)

*shifty eyes**steals Robert Englund and runs* Damn I love that one... gotta watch that again... I wish I could go, this sounds so damn cool! But both ideas are really good, I personally like the masquerade idea best. But the down side is if you're inviting a lot of friends a lot of them will probably figure out who it is.
@ Erin- I know how you feel. I wasn't a phan when I had my sweet sixteen.... but it was asian themed >.>

(Assuming you have them) my eighteenth birthday is coming up, I might just considering doing this (since I already have a red death costume and everything anyways >.>....)

I wanted to do the masquerade thing so badly for my 16th birthday, but sadly I couldn't since I had no place to hold it and that everyone would think I'm even more insane than usual (not that I care) and there was the problem of money gonk but I did get to make phantom gingerbread cookies with my cousin... wherein we didn't eat it for how many weeks, cause we loved it too much sweatdrop
And that PoTO movie marathon, isn't such a bad idea! I watched ALW's PoTO as a treat for myself and switched it to French for the heck of it. Now I can't get enough of it xd

these ideas are sooo cool. I knew I wanted a big party so since my friend and I have b-days within 4 days of each other we're going in together so we can split the cost and everything.

I know what I'm going to do for my 17th b-day. (I wasn't a phan on my 16 like I am now) or I could do a Phantom b-day for my friends 16th

BakaTulip @ Erin- I know how you feel. I wasn't a phan when I had my sweet sixteen.... but it was asian themed >.> Its not so much that i wasn't a phan as that I didn't really have a party. We had a winterguard competition on my birthday, so that was pretty much it.
