He walks, yes, walks, into a large open field that begins and ends at a forest. What this field is, is basically a huge circle, about the size of a foot ball field. As he approaches the center of this field, his clothes become easily visible. He's wearing a plain black kimono, the thin fabric reaching nearly to his feet. The sleeves of the kimono reach only to his elbows. Underneath this kimono, he wears a long-sleeved red and black button down shirt. The torso being red, the sleeves black. Below these, he wears hakama pants, instead of the traditional milky color, these start red, leading down into flame patterns, and below the patterns is just black. Upon his face, he wears a mask, with two small slits for the eyes, and one long thin one where his mouth should be, curving upward on both sides like a comical grin. His hair looks somewhat dirty, with what the blood stains and all. The bangs are cut some what short, barely reaching the eye slits, and the rest is worn half-way down his back. As for the weaponry, he has a device on his right wrist which has an extendable katar, this one specially made for disarming weapons, for this actually looks to be two blades. The two blades are shaped much like triangles, although with one flat end each, both facing each other. At his waist, rests his favorite weapon, the nodachi. This is quite the strong weapon, having the wielder know how to use it that is. It has an extremely long curved blade, much like a katana. Along with a large handle, giving space to wield with two hands, whilst leaving about an inch left on the handle. All together, this weapon is about 5"8, his own self being around 6", and around 130 lbs.
(( Tier II I suppose. ))

((I will take your challenge, if I am tier breaching let me know alright?))
Like his opponent the Knight simply walked into the football sized arena. He moved gracefully into the field as if he was simply walking towards the beach. His red hair danced slightly in the breeze as his red eyes locked onto the opponent he would be facing today. As he walked his black cape billowed slightly creating some noise, enough for his opponent to notice him. In the sunlight his enchanted red armor seemed to glow, but that could also be residual influence of his flaming aura. As he walked the Knight studied his opponent and realized he would be facing a swordsman, the armor he had been encased in was strong enough to endure sword strikes. The armor had been enchanted by his goddess with super strength and super endurance, more than enough to take a full swing off a massive broad axe. As he approached warrior the Knight called out saying, "State the terms of combat, will there be death in this match. I must know so I can prepare my strategy adequately." His mouth worked into a smirk as he stood just a few feet from his opponent, his senses working hard to find a weakness in the opponent. For the moment he found none.

He grinned beneath the mask at the thought of death, whether it be his opponent, or himseld. Although, the tome for death would not be now, he'd prefer to learn the strategies of everyone here before he thought of taking any of their lives.
" No, this is... For entertainment. Although blood may be drawn. "
He simply continued to stand there in a leisurely fasion, his left arm crossed over his torso so his left hand could rest upon the handle of the large oriental weapon.
(( I'll have you know I'm impatient, therefore I'm inclined to respond atleast some what quickly, unless I am tied down with something of course. I'll probably be checking back here every hour or less. ))

The Knight smiled softly as he heard the reasons for this battle were for entertainment. Raising his hands slightly he murmured, "I will only use my body as my weapon today, I will not use my flaming aura in anyway. A melee match then." As he assumed an offensive boxer stance the Knight watched carefully at the mans hands, he knew that blade will be a definate problem in this match so he had to be careful. The Knight smiled slightly as he said, "I am Lord Rasarai, ruler of the Fortress of the Abandoned. I will be your opponent this day."

He saw the man's stance and looked down to his own weapons. He brought his right arm up, until parallel with the ground below him. Two latches on the wrist mechanism snapped and the weapon fell to the ground with a light thud. He then flipped a latch on his belt, catching the falling nodachi before it falls entirely to the ground. He grabs around the middle of the sheath and places the butt of it on the grass, then raising his other arm up to grasp the handle. He then pulled the blade up slightly, and jammed it back down, pressing the sheath about 4 or 5 inches into the ground. He smiles beneath his mask And turns his body side-ways, not getting into any other stance than this. He was never the one to attack first unless it was incurred of him.
" Maelthorn. "
He stated blankly, and simply.

"Defensive..." muttered the Knight as he stood there silently in his stance, watching the man assume his form the Knight knew that he would be the first to strike. But in his mind he knew this warrior would give him a good match, even beat him. This was what the Knight was searching for, a battle without the need for extreme power. A true battle between the arts, the Knights red eyes narrowed slightly as he shouted, "I shall strike first then!"
Feeling the rage of his being boil in his blood the Knights roar equalled to the ferocity of that of a lion. Charging forward the Knight had a far clue that the warrior would bring the blade to an upward swing. As he closed the gap between he and the warrior the Knight made his move.
Planting his right foot squarely into the ground the Knight forced his body to catapult forward in mid air spinning slightly. Maneuvering his legs in the proper way the Knight was simply going to unleash a savage heel strike upon the warriors head. Positioning his arms above his face the Knight was fairly confident that his armor could withstand the blade of his opponent.
In his mind as his attack sailed home the Knight hoped this warrior could at least dodge this simple attack, a fight was what he was here for and he wasn't going to leave without one.

He simply grins at the simple attack, he was sure he could kill him easily at this time, after observing the small joint openings within the armor. The chainmail beneath ( I assume there is chainmail. ) would be simple to break through. But he decided against it, after all, he wanted to have fun. ( Also, assuming this is the tae kwon do equivalent of a flying side kick, I will counter with this ) He very casually slid his right foot ( the one in front, his body already being side ways. ) forward, now both knees bent, causing his opponents foot to narrowly miss his head. At the time his opponent's foot neared, he grabbed his ankle with his left arm ( the one furthest back ) and then as he came more forward, he pressed the palm of his right hand against the bottom of his thigh, now pushing upward against his opponent's body with a great amount of force, which would most likely sending him a foot or so higher into the air, also causing his body to go off balance, perhaps causing him to fall onto his side, back, or face if he was unable to regain himself. Immediatly after this counter, he brought his arms back in front of him, each hand open with his finger's slightly curled. His body would now be facing the opposite of what it was, but now with legs spread and arms and hands up in a basic fighting stance.

As the Knight felt his attack lose its effectiveness he grinned, he intentionally opened himself to such an attack to see if this man was either looking for a kill or looking for a fight. It was obvious that if he wanted to kill him that stupid attack of his would have gotten him killed. As he was pushed off balance in mid air by his opponent the Knight hurtled towards the Earth in an awkward position. Moving his left arm out the Knight used it to absorb most of the awkward fall and twisted his body to flip backwards causing him to land on his feet, this was extremely hard to do. Smiling softly as he assumed an offensive boxer stance the Knight said, "Impressive..." Once more the Knight charged.
This time he was a tad more serious. Maneuvering his arms into a boxer stance the Knight quickly closed the gap to his opponent. As the Knight got close enough he unleased a vicious right hook on the opponent and at the same time was preparing a left uppercut. The effect of this attack was to see if the opponent would try and dodge his attacks, his right might miss but since he was moving at same instant speed the left uppercut must hit unless of course the opponent could move faster than he can, which was possible. In his mind though should he miss both attacks and the opponent was still near him he would twist himself and unleash a vicious back hand punch, if not the Knight would just assume his normal stance waiting for his opponent to make his move.

He saw his opponents arm raise as he was about to punch him. He was somewhat suprised at the attack, seeing as though it would be easy to block and counter. As his opponent's arm came toward him, he brought his right arm, attempting to block the punch by causing his opponent's arm to come in contact with his fore arm, ultimately causing his arm to stop. In flow with the block, he slid his left leg ( the one forward at this time) forward, parallel with his opponent's most forward leg and quickly brought his head forward, attempting to bash the forehead part of the mask against his opponent's face. Now, this being a mask, it would hurt quite a bit more than his forehead, for the mask was meant to last through battle. And his being at such a close range, I doubt the upper-cut would have much effectiveness. But we will see.

Seeing as the 2 warriors were now too close for any changes in movement the Knight realized his first problem. As the mask sailed towards his face the only thing he could do was take it, feeling the full force of the attack smack into his forehead the Knight briefly lost concentration and his vision blurred slightly. This in the end shook his entire body in such a way that his uppercut was cut short, which worked to his advantage. Re-working his arm into a new position the Knight re-used the momentum he had with the uppercut and repositioned the shot from an uppercut to a powerful gut jab. His forehead was bleeding slightly as his red eyes seemed glazed over, the attack had done its job. Though he was struggling to stay conscious the Knight knew his attack would hit home as well, unless he became all energy no movement was fast enough to dodge this attack at such close range. All the while the Knight still held a smile, this battle was going perfectly.

He knew this blow would have to hit him, but it didn't mean he couldn't make it hurt less. Knowing another attack would come, seeing as though his adversary was not unexperienced, he tightened the muscles in his abdomen and arched his back outward, so the tightened muscles and movement would supress some of the power from the blow. Unwillingly, he was unable to hold his breath, exhaling about half of what is left in his lungs, he found it a bit hard to breathe in again for about a second or two. He knew to always concentrate, he'd been fighting for a very long time so he'd known all these things. Right after the blow had hit him, and before he barely had time to recover, he slid his right leg back, pulling his right arm back with his leg. Leaving his leg back, he thrusted his arm upward, fingers and thumbs pulled backward, and his palm aimed directly for his opponent's face. Hopefully, this blow would hit his nose, he redirected it a bit to the right so he wouldn't hit his nose completely aligned with it. Of course, if he had, the cartiledge (Spell check, bah, now this makes me feel less intelligent.)) would break and move upward to pierce his brain, in turn killing him. But, he didn't want this to happen.

Since the Knight was on the advantage the armored warrior knew that he must set the pace in order to win the fight. Though his vision was slightly blurred from his headbutt, his hyper senses never failed once. Feeling the energies within the warrior shift the Knight knew that a counter attack was on the way. As the Knight retracted his left fist back towards his position Lord Rasarai's eyes focused back into concentration as he both saw and felt the mans attack to come.
Utilizing his senses the Knight knew that he had a powerful attack on the way, capable of killing him should it hit. His fiery red eyes focused on the mans stance from the torso up telling him that his attack was aimed for his head from the angle his body was at. Smilings softly the Knight began to spin towards his right shifting his left foot behind his right, creating a spin momentum.
As his opponents attacks sails but millimeters from his face the Knight spun quickly to unleash a savage backhanded strike, should the attack miss or strike the Knight was already prepared for a momentary retreat. As the attack sailed towards the side of the opponents head the Knights right leg was now planted next to his left but on the other side. With a center of gravity achieved the Knight was ready for his secondary move.

He was very much prepared for this counter(counter-counter-counter)-attack, that was why he chose such a stance. His left arm was in front of his chest, thus leave it available to block any on coming attacks. Although, knowing that he was wearing armor, he knew it'd hurt to block his arm in such a manner, but, a few bruises wouldn't stop him. He attempted to use his adversary's momentum against him. In order to do this, he would have to go through a somewhat complicated process, with his remaining fluent in order for it to work successfully. Seeing the spin, and from seeing his arm come up with his body, he knew his hand would come around with him. So, he brought his left fore-arm up to connect his fore-arm with his enemy's. Immediatly after their arms came in contact, he slid his arm down and back so both wrists were together, and during this time, he'd adjusted his body so he was facing his enemy face to face. Without any warning, it seemed like he simply showed up behind his opponent. During this time, he grabbed his opponent's wrist tightly, and repositioned his right leg behind his left and ducked under his arm. As he went under, he twists his body to face his back, his right arm already back, palm open. Hopefully, the grip on his wrist, and the twisting caused by moving under him, would twist his arm. And, he used this to his advantage, to strike with his palm, directly on his taut elbow. He'd managed to do this quite fluently, after all, he'd based most his fighting on fluent, balanced, movements. If his attack should be sucessful, his opponent's arm would be broken.

Impressed by the mans maneuvers the Knight watched silently as he whipped his own arm behind his back. Realizing he was planning to break it through his armor the Knight reacted quickly. Utilizing his chi flow the Knight locked all the muscles in that particular arm. By clenching and forcing high amounts of chi into it the Knight was able to give the arm the tensile strength of steel, meaning it couldn't be moved or broken any further. But the Knight was not finished yet.
Realizing his right foot was now behind his left the Knight acted quickly. Moving his left foot up towards his thigh quickly the Knight moved through to smash his heal against the opponents foot. Since the shock of his arm turning to steel, and the concentration the warrior was using to perform this maneuver evasion of this attack would be minimal if not zero in most cases. Should this maneuver succeed the Knight would simply arch forward and swing back violently to either smash his head against the opponents forehead or smash his armor into the opponent, in either way it will give the Knight some room to maneuver.

(( Sorry if it seems like I'm knowing everything, but my character practices a lot of these things so he knows what to look out for o.o. ))
He grunted in suprise as he felt the vibrations move through his opponent's arm, sensed by the grip he had on his wrist. His eyes darted about quickly for any other change. He noticed his adversary's foot almost before it was too late, all he could do was evade, there was no time for a counter-attack. He stopped his palm in the midst of it's strike, jumping back a few yards, narrowly having his nearly bare feet getting plowed into the dirt. He smiled and ran a hand through his hair and chuckled a bit, he was loosening up a bit now. After his many years of battle, he's become able to see a bit of one's personality just by how they fight after a while. He lets his arms drop to his sides lazily and he looks at the knight.
" Phew... So, when do you want to stop? "
