Typically, the best card in magic is black lotus, worth in a really bad condition, 500$. In a really good condition, a couple grand. In mint, about 8000-15,000$

CaptainKillbot This may be the best magic card EVER!!! Respectively this would be better I doubt Lotus Petal is better than Black Lotus. Also, the power 9 are all more powerful than it, too.

Also, the power 9 are all more powerful than it, too. When you consider cost and availablity it is better, consider the black lotus runs you as much as a used car, I own a piece of power nine but I would never use it in any deck due to its value but a lotus petal is common enough that I will slap a few into what ever without worry, so even though i have one power nine piece it's play value is not as high as that of lotus petal which can be used with any color

A first turn lotus petal is better then a metalcraft card, unless you are running nothing but artifacts and are sure that you will get two more "0" cost cards in your openning hand the opal does you little good, but the petal in a burn deck with rite of flame, desperate ritual, seething song, and demon fire pawns in one turn or dragon storm bogardan hellkite

And since I run 4 Memnites and 4 Ornithopters in my Tempered Steel, not to mention the fact that I curve out at 3, Mox Opal seems a lot better.

I'd like to see you run more then one Mox Opal at one time, if your running colorless why would you need a mox opal at all? and that thoper, memnite, steel wont win you first turn. Well of course not, they don't have haste. Also, Tempered Steel is a white deck, that also may run additional colors such as blue, for some lesser spells. In my Tempered Steel deck, I run: Shrine of Loyal Legions, Dispatch, Porcelain Legionnaire, Kor Firewalkers in my sideboard, and Timely Reinforcements. Also, the Mox opal I have constantly gets destroyed. Also, Playing A Memnite (or two), a signal pest, a mox opal, then another signal pest is a really good turn 1.

This is a great affordable first turn win deck, and a lot of the critters and cards can be replaced with cheaper cards to make it more affordable for those of us with limited funds Turn 1 grapeshot win! (60 cards) by mattfloyddevey Artifacts4x Shield Sphere 4x Shifting Wall 4x Lotus Petal 4x Phyrexian Marauder 4x Phyrexian Walker 4x Ornithopter 4x Memnite Creatures4x Crookshank Kobolds 4x Elvish Spirit Guide 4x Crimson Kobolds 4x Kobolds of Kher Keep 4x Simian Spirit Guide Land4x City of Brass Spells4x Glimpse of Nature 4x Grapeshot The only problem that is very evident is that his mana curve sucks

CaptainKillbot Did you edit me instead of quoting me? No, but when I quoted you my typing wasn't at the end, so it lost part of the coding.

There's decks for Legacy where it runs 1 land, and mana-producing spells/artifacts. All you do is count up to 7 mana in your opening hand, and make sure you have a Goblin Charbelcher in your hand.

Yeah i've played against something like that, I said to the guy "platinum angel, shield of kaldra, what now biatch" he looked at me and said "wrath of god, ftw " and I laughed as he pawned all his creatures
