Nicknames: Hadi, Yaya
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Faction/Race Demon / Marid (A type of Jinn associated with oceans or open bodes of water.) Her mother is Marid, her Father is Ifrit, as is her twin sister, Aziza.
Personality: One of two daughters in a long line of respectable Jinn, Hadiyya has come to embrace the beliefs and behaviors of her parents and sister. Proud, arrogant, and judgmental against those poor, less fortunate creatures of her scary little world. She carries herself as a high standing young lady of society(Albeit a creepy, nightmarish society) should, and none could ever accuse her of being brash or vulgar. She's soft spoken, possessing a cultured tone and air of refinement. She is almost the polar opposite of her twin sister, but what they share, and what is different has made them complimentary to each other. Ying and Yang, fire an water.
Calm to the point of appearing perpetually sleepy, the marid youth comes off as stoic, even somber at times. She does not run on heated emotions, but rather relies on logic and understanding to rule her actions. She is also almost tactlessly honest. Speaking truth even when it is unwise or unwelcome. If she thinks you look hideous, she'll say so. On the flip side, if she considers your attractive or respectable, she makes it known. She doesn't speak often, but you can be assured that when she does, it will be honest and articulate.
As with the majority of her kind, Hadiyya prefers the finer things in life. She has a sophisticated pallet and can be a very picky eater, turning her nose from dishes she considers too common or may just not be to her liking. Her clothing is always comprised of the finest materials known to their world, and she is almost never seen without some manner of gilded adornment.
She is stoic, passive in her unmoving pride and arrogance, but she is still better then you. She just feels there is no reason to go about announcing it.
While her sister is afraid of water, Hadiyya is phobic wild fire. She doesn't mind candles or fires lit in controlled settings, but flame out of place terrifies her. Of course this is not something she would be willing to share, so it is not common knowledge.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? The continued traditions of her family. Yaya was sent to the academy with her sister because that is where their parents attend, and their parents before them. Personally, she wises to improve upon her abilities and bring honor and pride to her family. It is expected of her, but she is more then happy to take on such responsibilities and views the high expectations as a challenge to be overcome. She also wishes to experience life away from watchful eye of the family. To be, for lack of a better word, free, if only for a short time. She does not begrudge her family or life, but she cannot deny the desire to explore a bit before falling into her expected role.
FEAR: Aquaphobia - The fear of water or swimming; Being wet.
Hadiyya uses her FEAR in the form of Aquakinesis, controlling and manipulating small bodies of water. She can summon a small amount of water herself or tap into available water sources. She can only manipulate a small amount at a time, and only for short periods of time within her first year. For an attack, she would "fling" small bullets of water at her opponent at a high velocity, the impact slightly more harmful then that of perhaps a human paintball. She would of course be aiming for more vulnerable targets. The eyes or throat, the stomach, perhaps the hand if it's holding a weapon.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Blue
Hair Colour/Style: Black with deep indigo highlights.
Skin Colour: Tan
Clothing Style/Colours: Arabic in nature. Fine cuts of silk and finer jewelry and accessories. Shades of blue, green, and white.
Extra: A surprising sprinkling of very faint freckles along the apples of her cheek.

Q and A:
Q.
How many water bullets can she make and how long can she manipulate water?
A.
In her first year at the academy she can only manipulate water for a short time, no more then 20 minutes at most for easy, none strenuous things, no more then maybe 5-10 minutes for more exhausting tasks. Playing aorund she can do it longer, in a battle situation less, it's more taxing on the body. As far as how many water bullet/darts she can produce, as many as she can in th short time she'll be able to manipulate water.
Q.
Can't all Marid manipulate water, isn't that a racial ability?
A.
It's not. All Jinn can grant wishes, and that seems to be the only real natural ability they all have in common. Marid are simply associated with open water and the ocean. It is where they find sanctuary.
Q.
So Yaya can grant wishes?
A.
She has the ability, but shall never use it. Her family are all free Jinn, so none have been captured, forced, or tricked into servitude. Therefore none are required to grant wishes. Since there is no clear cut fine line between fair and god mode for something like this, it's easiest just to avoid it. =3
Besides, if she started granting wishes to people then the entire school would be pestering her for things and that is just too damn much to handle for a girl like her.

I think my only concern, here, is FEAR.
For one thing, it sounds quite powerful as it opens a lot of god-mode possibilities that is best brought up now then later when people will complain and cause problems.
To most, 'water' is second only to 'air' in needing to live and dehydration could easily cause death. 'Blood' is also considered a liquid.
I trust you that you won't God-Mode, but it is still a worry and you might experience many future problems in the future.
Besides that, since Marid are already known to be Water Jinn, Yaya's FEAR sounds like something most of her kind would be able to do--That is, simply controlling water.
Everything else looks great and I love how you made her the opposite of her sister and in tune to the nature of water; calm on the surface but always rippling with a greater force~
I also love the picture and is secretly thinking of asking of you to draw my quest characters.
...Well, it's not a secret NOW.

LULZ Still like her personality. What I'm curious about now is her natural ability. You say it's to grant wishes. You might want to dive into what kind of wishes and if they follow the old 'no matter what you wish for you have to be specific' or the 'no wish comes without a cost'? Wish granting could be cool in many ways, but as wish granting in any setting tend to be auto linked to 'GOD MODE', (which when done correctly is not?) a small blurb on how her natural ability works would be nice.
( Doubt you'd have her grantn peeps cars but, its wish granting. If you don't cover it people wonder XD)

Phairren sniffed with indignation at the pile of papers the Headmistress had thrust at him, too annoyed to deal with anymore applications for the day. He'd been the only staff member with his back turned, trying to get the Pumpkin-flavored Espresso machine to work, and so had been the only one left in the room to fend for himself when Helma had stomped in. Damn coworkers.
Sifting through, his mouth made a delicate frown, and he cocked his head curiously.
"Well......if not promising, at least they're demons," he sighed, stamping his seal on the corner of the application and its sister neatly and feeding them to the Acceptance Bin, patting the poor thing affectionately for all the abuse he was sure Helma gave it.
