 Though the actual matches are not held in this huge arena, there are several enormous viewing screens in the center of the arena that give the thousands of spectators a spectacular view of the bouts. ANBU are stationed throughout the arena to make sure everything remains civil.

Vincent came to the Arena feeling his stomach begin to twist and turn in on himself knowing that Taiji would be his opponent and he knew that this Uchiha was far more advanced in the Sharingan than he was. He had to hope that his katon jutsus and his quick thinking would be enough. Even if it wasn't he was assured that losing the match wouldn't steal his promotion to become a Chuunin. Still, it wasn't the promotion that was on his mind. it was the crowd that had their dull roar as he came out. He could feel thousands of eyes upon him. Needless to say he could feel a little performance anxiety and if he lost this match he would make a fool of himself. Added to that was the very real risk of dying.

The figure turned back for a moment as if to say something, and then tossed himself out the window, falling rapidly to the ground below. The boy landed surprisingly gracefully, considering the height of the window, and stood up, walking to the center of the arena where he would wait for his opponent to arrive. | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Following the ANBU down a large stone corridor, Shinji could hear the murmurs of the crowd growing louder and louder until he finally stepped out onto the field to a roaring cry from the onlookers. His smile widening at the thought that all of these people were cheering for him, even if they didn't particularly know who he was, or even if they were routing for his victory. As he walked he casually waved to the crowds, his large sword Forza securely fastened to his back via the special metal clamping device tied around him as he approached the center of the arena and looked straight forward at David.
Not a word was exchanged at all as Shinji simply smirked and was handed an envelope which he opened hastily. {{View Rolls}}
"Hmmm... The Crag Lands eh?... looks rather interesting." All that was on the picture of his selected arena was a photograph of the area and it's name. No other details about the place were given at all, but still Shinji felt drawn to it. "Looks like a sharp, rocky mountainous terrain... perfect for my element."

Apparently this was the method of deciding what arena they went to. But, that was just horrible. He didn't really like forests all that much. Not enough space to work in. But apparently Shinji had gotten a different one, judging by the fact that there were two envelopes. "What's yours say?" The boy queried, tossing his own paper and envelope over his shoulder. "I guess he got some type of forest... that would be interesting too." Shinji didn't really care where he fought, he was just eager for battle, but upon seeing David toss his envelope aside, Shinji smiled and held his out so he could see it. "It's a place called the 'Crag Lands' looks pretty good to me. then again, I guess anything is better then what you got considering how carelessly you tossed yours away. I guess that means we'll be doing combat in the rocky terrain."

After both Shinji and David have checked their envelopes, a section of the ground beside them pulls away as a table rises up to fill the area. Artifacts are spread out across the table in no particular order, but only a few of them are ones that you recognize (namely those you either attained, or had seen others receive or use. the artifacts present:
- A Crimson Ring
- A Vial of Flowing Water
- A Mug
- A Silver Spoon
- A Rock Medallion
- A Cloak
- A Dark Red Ring
- A Mask with a Light on it.
- A Pair of Bracers
- A Bow and Quiver w/arrows
- A Stone Apple
- Golden Chopsticks
- A Small Round Mirror
- 3 Scrolls (placed side by side)
- An Ice Swan
...a Jounin proctor then appears on the field and bids you to select one of the items, offering the choice to David first.

But most of them would be useless as far as a terrain advantage, going by that picture... So, with a slight smile, David reached out and grabbed his mug. It was still his favorite out of the artifacts he had seen, and could be useful, given various situations. "I'll take this one then. Maybe Shinji would like the necklace?" He smirked, quite amused at the thought that maybe they could have a rematch on that particular item. It'd be a fun side track if nothing else. [Chakra Point Total: 35/35]

 Zin entered the yet another large stadium. But the amazement of it this time was much lower this time seeing as half of this section of the island was comprised of large buildings. The child walked up to the desk to register as smiling as it seemed David would finally get his vengeance from the older boy that seemed to have an ability all on his own. Zin leaned on the wall as he awaited the results of his fighting arena.

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Shinji didn't really understand what method it was which allowed his opponent to choose first, but he stayed quiet about it and watched him make his selection. So strange... they're offering us all of the artifacts, but none of them seemed to do anything except the scroll which we got last, but never used. Is there something else special about these items besides the fact of being indestructible? Not that anything else is needed i suppose with an impressive description such as that, but which one to choose?"
Shinji watched as the boy choose the mug, wondering what in the world he could ever choose that one for and then was offered his own choice. Ignoring the boy's statement, Shinji looked over the table, his eyes catching several objects, the cloak, the stone apple, the bracers... but he wasn't sure what to pick. Reflecting on himself quickly however, he knew who he was and where his weak points were. "Seems to me some kind of defensive item might be best. I don't need another weapon, and nothing here comes close to beating Forza's capabilities on it's own. Perhaps a pair of indestructible bracers would be best. To be able to use my forearms to stop any kind of incoming attack would seem to be an invaluable ability... granting me a whole new level of defense, at least from blunted objects."
Walking over to the table, Shinji picked up the bracers and slid them on. It was remarkable material... clearly metallic, but not so rigid as to restrict movement, yet rigid enough to hold it's shape. Slamming his wrists together once they were on, Shinji was pleased as he heard the ringing metal clanks, yet felt no force reach through the bracers into his forearm. "Excellent... these will make a wonderful defense." Looking up with a mischievous grin, Shinji nodded to his proctor and then to his opponent... "I'm ready... Let's Do This!"

He confirmed, snapping the mug into place on his belt, just as he had kept it before. With his staff on his back, and the mug on his belt, along with his other various weapons, he was ready for the fight ahead. He just hoped it would be more satisfying than the last time. "If you have any more old wounds, I'm not backing down this time." He warned the other boy as he waited for whatever was going to happen now. Nodding to each Genin's readiness, the Jounin Proctor performs a few hand seals and then touches each of the student's shoulders. In a flash of light, Both Genin and the Jounin instructor suddenly begin to glow in a bright white light before there is a sudden flash and all of them are gone. The crowd cheers on wildly however as the large monitors showcasing the fight light up, displaying enormous pictures for all to see as they see the Crag Lands, and then, in a flash of light... the Genin and the Jounin Proctor arriving in a flash.
Directing each Genin to move about 25 feet apart, the Jounin then jumps back and watches the match from afar.

With a long sigh, he let out his distaste for this, and how he would rather not fight a brother. He would not object to his duty though, as every ninja should put his duty before personal preference.
