Pachua tucked his bag of school supplies under his arm as he made his way up the walks back to his dorm room. Books, pencils, and more unconventional components for the classes he had enrolled in along with a few 'extra' things he had gotten for his space in the attic.
He wondered if he'd be able to get any flight tips from the more birdlike attic residents or if they would take their opinions strictly from the fact he was more Serpent than feathered.
He took a deep satisfied breath that his enrollment form had been accepted. He was going to do -so- well, he was going to be the most terrifying thing EVER.

"Mmmm.. a bunch of new students." A male voice said to no one in particular, while perched on a nearby tree that lined the walkways between the dorms. A swish of a tail and a grin that could challenge a cheshires, the young kitsune waited and watched as they passed. He wasn't exactly TRYING to hide... this time at least. He just wanted to see the fresh new meat they let in this year, he was fully aware of what it felt like to be new. He went through the same things last year... the question to him now was if he should haze them like he was. Hrrrm...
Eyes looking around, preparing for a target. He was told this year he was expected to take on a new student or two to mentor... he was eenie meenie miny moing the potential victims from his current outlook. From his birds eye view he saw loads of students, though he knew all too well that students tended to trickle in as the year progressed he still wanted to pick a candidate or two soon. He wanted to be a...good (ha) mentor.
Remi narrowed his gaze as it fell on a kid, short... blue hair. Cape like thing around his shoulders and feathers that looked easily pluckable were coming out the back. The best part was... he looked determined. A quick flash of a grin and Remi leapt out of his tree, and right infront of the boy. "Yo. Welcome to Amittville." Better act nice now, show his real side later.

Pachua jerked back eyes wide, half crouched and suspicious of the sudden arrival. His eyes narrowed quickly and his tongue flicked out just a touch over his lips tasting the air.
"...Thank you... what do you want." He said suspicious eyeing the taller boy. He paused, his gaze lingering over the ears and the long fluffy tail. Fox?
Ugh he hated it when people looked more unnerving than he did, the ears and tail would probably get a better reaction than scales and feathers too, never mind his height. You could -fake- scales and feathers... not so much the light movement of the ears or the flowing motion of the tail.

Ears flicked forward Remi criss crossed his arms over his chest and leaned forward. Almost as if examining the boy he walked a circle or two around him. Damn this kid was short, there was a good head or two height wise between himself and this...scaled bird? "You like a raptor from Jurassic park or something?" The kitsune mumbled, recalling back to the lizards with feathers.
Pausing his slow movements he stopped back before the first year. Giving a rather over emphasized shrug he leaned forward, to try and be the same height as the shorter monster. "Monster dorm, im assuming?" He asked next, still not answering why he was there.

A flash of frustration shot through the 'scaled birds' eyes. "Absolutely -not-" He snapped "Feathered SERPENT thank you." He huffed and adjusted his grip on his ill gotten gains. "And -yes-...monster dorms. You are what... a Fox Spirit?" He said trying to make it sound as insulting as he had found the Jurassic Park reference.
He wasn't terribly fond of the bending to be on eye level either. He hoped earnestly that the other boy would quickly garner back pain from poor posture.

"Woah woah dont get your tail feathers in a twist!" He held his hands up, palms facing the 'feathered serpent. Serpent....raptor... all lizards. Remi did not harbor ill feelings for monsters like his fellow demons did though. He too was a animal shape shifter, so he felt a sort of fellowship with the monsters even though his species was classified as a demon. "Kitsune, Fox demon." He added the latter so the boy would know what a kitsune was, if he didnt already.
"So." He said reaching up to his full height again. "Today's your lucky day. You see I'm in need of some help." He grinned. "Im a second year annnd they told me that we need to sort of.. 'adopt' a first year. Show them around, 'mentor' them as they call it."

"Oh?" he said sounding less than deeply enthused. "And what does 'mentoring' entail for the first year 'fortunate' enough to be selected to assist you in your 'mentoring' project?" He said continuing his trek towards his own dorm room. "And why not adopt a fellow demon?" He added glancing at the ears again. "Wouldn't that be more convenient?" he added, the Demon dorms weren't -horrendously- far from the Monster dorms but it still seemed as though it might be easier to mentor someone who was in the same Dormitory as yourself.
Then again perhaps it was better for the 'mentored' to have a place you could 'escape' who knew...

Remi followed in step with the snake, though he could have -easily- out stepped him if he wanted to. Having longer legs and being tall had their advantages.
Giving a SIGH he rolled his eyes. "I told you, i would be your mentor. If you INSIST i explain well basically i would help you when you needed it. In classes, showing you around, battle help, the works. Though i will not be your maid, you clean up your own s**t." He quirked an eyebrow, knowing that he would not sully his hands with others messes unless he felt like it.
"Though if you don't THINK your good enough to need a mentor, then i could always look for someone else." He egged him on, knowing the best way to get his way sometimes was to piss off the other.

Pachua's eyes blazed with irritation, of COURSE he was good enough. "I never said that...I was simply wondering if YOU were good enough to teach -me-" he snapped sharply. "I suppose... I'll let you try and prove your worth, you DID make it past 'snot'." He said with a small lift of his chin and narrowed eyes.

"Prove MY worth?" He gasped at the indignation this little 'snot' was suggesting. Blue eyes blazing back, he glared down at the MUCH shorter student. " You little s**t. I offer you MY PERSONAL TIME to look after your scrawny a** and you dare tell me 'I' have to prove myself to YOU?" His ears shot backwards and his tail frizzed in irritation and bewilderment. Placing a single finger right on his forehead, Remi let his face not show how he felt. "Well guess what little Snot? I have nothing to prove to a spoiled brat whom will get shoved in lockers by the greater beings of this school. By all means, dont call for me when you need it." With that remi pushed against his forehead, before turning around to leave.

There was a low -hiss- and the sound of soft scraping of scales twisting over scales, a shifting flutter of wings and a white-blue flash that looped around you once, twice and settled forward -squeezing- you firmly. The benefit of not being in the actual corridors. Though such behavior was not precisely recommended.

"ACK!" The kitsune flailed as he felt his feet lifting off the ground and something snaking around him. It wouldn't be THAT uncomfortable, if it wasn't damn near squeezing the life out of him. Grinding his teeth together he looked down at his attacker. "You little s**t!" He said once again, knowing this was the snake snot. "You realize this is not the way to ask me to be your mentor." He grinned back, instantly regretting it as he was squeezed tighter.
Hell. Balling his fist, he attempting punching at his side, only to find it not working. Remi was no fighter, trickster... yes. Fighter? Hell nah. Attempting to escape, he moved his mask so it covered his face (Something more for cosmetics), and shifted into his sleek 6 tailed kitsune form. HAH, try this. He felt the coils loosen on his body, as she tried to escape.

The coils slid tighter and the snake turned with a -very- self satisfied flair of what could only be described as a maine of feathers and an amused flick of a long blue black tongue. The very tip of its tail made a gesture that was utterly unmistakable as "Well?" and there was no mistake that it was -smiling- about the whole mess.

True form Remi glared at the snake, giving a look that clearly said "Go suck on a rat". He then snarled and struggled, clawing at the snakes hide. In this battle, where Pachua had the upper hand because he surprised him, the snake had the upper hand. Remi would MUCH rather go down fighting, but...
Swallowing his pride, he had to admit this snake was at least SOME what worthy. If Remi wanted to have char broiled snake.... he probably could, but Pachua had shown himself worthy. Plus remi would rather not be Fox-ala-mode.
A fox yip later, he tried to say "UNCLE".

The Quetzalcoatl looked immensely pleased and uncoiled, stepping back into his 'student' self and looking around to make sure there weren't too many witnesses to his impropriety to be seen, at least not that he could tell. "Maybe being assumed to be small has its benefits" He said looking quite pleased. "If I could convince you I thought you'd be worth -swallowing- I might have a good scar tactic on my hands, you ARE a good mentor" He said flashing a wicked grin.
