Just curious, has anybody read it? I do a little RP around Gaia, and I have to say, the character of Pentheus has definitely inspired me.
Anyway, I find it interesting that a play written some 2,000 + years ago can be so timeless. The themes of the play -- duality, passion versus reason, and the functioning of a healthy state -- are so relevant to our modern world. Plays like this, as well as archaeology, give me such a strong connection to the past.
