The Sōkyoku Hill is an iconic, large, rocky mesa located at the center of Seireitei in Soul Society, where it is overlooked by the Shrine of Penitence. The hill is visible from most of Seireitei and is one of the most easily recognizable locations in Bleach. It has sheer cliffs on all sides. There are two known access points to the Sōkyoku Hill - a long bridge connecting to the Shrine of Penitence complex and a long, zigzagging stairway carved into one side of the Hill. One end of the Hill is heavily undercut. It is at this point that the Sōkyoku and the bridge are located. The opposite end is covered by white forest. Located below is a large meadow surrounded by Sakura trees, cutting it off from the surrounding alleys and buildings of the Seireitei. In the side of the Hill is a hole obscured by shrubbery and is this easy to miss. In this hole is a pair of large doors that lead to a large cave-like area within the Hill that was created by the Hakase siblings. It is lined with Sekkiseki and is thus ideal for hiding out.

In a single bound, Nanashi dropped from the top of the Senzaikyū, and landed cat-like on the the bridge that connected the tower to the Sōkyoku itself. His appearance startled the two guards into attacking him, due to the fact that night was falling and it was getting increasingly hard to see. Letting out a small scream of comical terror that was so like him it was ridiculous, Nanashi scooted back, palmed the railing and drop-kicked both guards in their chests, sending them flying into the tower wall, crumpling from the impact and slipping into a state of unconsciousness. As his feet touched the ground after the reaction created purely on reflex, Nanashi assumed a serious fighting stance where his left hand was guarding his chin and his right hand was out, waiting to strike anything that moved.

Once his wits were about him, he noticed that he knocked the guards, prompting him to let out a nervous giggle and stride over to them, and meticulously arrange them so that they were both standing upright. Quickly he moved his palms from their chests, looking hopeful that they would stay upright and prevent him from getting in trouble. Instead, all they did was waver for a second, then slump to the floor again, causing Nanashi to sigh deeply, then escape to the white forest on the Hill so as to not be seen in the area. Coming out of a Shunpo, Nanashi ended up in one of the higher branches in the forest. For moment, he contended himself to looking out towards the halberd and lack of a guard to the Sōkyoku.

It wasn't until several minutes later that she returned. There she was, standing a good seventeen feet away and looking dead at him and smiling. Once again, she was in her underwear, something which made Nanashi hot and bothered as well as a little irritated that she was such a floozy. Before he could even open his mouth to shout at her, she had vanished and was suddenly in his arms, pressing her lips to his, slipping her tongue into his mouth. She appeared to have used a rudimentary form of Shunpo to throw herself at him. The only thing he could think of was how damn experienced she was, and on top of that, how comfortable she was with kissing him like that. Despite her being visible to only him, the force of impact sent him from the tree onto the ground below. He landed with a thud, causing him to gron loudly. This girl, however, did not seem to be bothered by this as she was slowly creeping her hands up his shirt and brushing her fingers across the metal that was across his heart. She was not bothered by his scars at all and this was the most astonishing thing to Nanashi, and the fact that she was all over him, and was supposed to be his wife, all of that suddenly paled in comparison.

Suddenly regaining his senses, he grabbed her upper arms, tightening his grip until she removed her hands with a dejected look set upon her face. "You're not afraid of my scars, you were even treating them they were normal. You touched them. How can you do that? Why do you not run away?" She sat silently, staring him down with compassion filling her eyes. He released her after she remained silent. She touched his cheek gently and brushed her lips against his before speaking words that made him rigid like rigor mortis had set in. "Because I love you." So there he lay, motionlessly and silently staring into her face as she stared lovingly back. To him, all he saw was her; to anyone coming by, all they would see was Nanashi lying on the ground with his shirt riding all the way up to his chest, baring his stomach completely.

          | Entrance from 5th Division Captain Quarters |

Suzume had been intending to see her sister, but when she had asked a healer about exactly where she would find Eli, they mumbled something about her being busy with a patient or something like that. Then again, her sister had said ‘later’ not ‘right away’. Ticking that off, she decided to see if Nanashi would be around. It hadn’t helped when she discovered the fact that he wasn’t at his quarters, but luckily, some Shinigami passing by had seen him head off in this vague direction. To be frank, it had been a little embarrassing when she tried to describe him, pausing every so often as she attempted not to define him by his scars, of which she was one of the few people to have seen. Then, of course, when they had pointed in this direction, she had managed to get herself lost again. She was really getting hopeless about these sorts of manners. Maybe it was about time that she carried around a map. Snorting derisively at the idea of carrying a massive map to find her way, she promptly discarded that thought as soon as she noticed the guards who had surprisingly collapsed on the floor.

Although she was slightly nervous at being discovered to be here, she checked their pulse. Unconscious, but it still seemed they were alive. She sighed softly. Hopefully, there wasn’t any sort of enemy around. Well, she could try to take on an enemy but after her encounter with firstly the Exaequare and then that Arrancar, she was feeling a little disheartened with her abilities. Maybe she wasn’t as good at them as she thought she was. After all, many Lieutenants already had their Bankai and she was still developing her Shikai. Konmei lazily drawled, Well, if you had listened to me and actually attempted to train for a little bit, maybe you would have it by now, right? Angrily pushing her zanpakuto spirit’s thoughts away, she stalked off towards the white forest, muttering something murderous under her breath. Snatches of her words could be heard, “Getting told off…one or another…won’t just leave me in peace…irritating, loud zanpakuto spirits…irrational…completely unnecessary.” Instead of getting furious about her words, Konmei merely yawned and said quietly, Talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity, you know. before retreating. Letting out a genuine shriek of frustration this time, she stormed in the direction she had been heading in, barely bothering to keep her footsteps soft.

It was only when she caught sight of a body, or more specifically, a person, stretched out on the ground, that she remembered the unconscious guards and the fact that she hadn’t know whether or not there was an enemy around. Keeping a steady hand on her zanpakuto, she quietly crept closer, her feet barely making a sound as they made contact with the floor. As soon as she was close enough to identify the person, a relieved smile appeared on her face as she stood in front of him. “Jeez, you nearly gave me a heart attack,” she told him cheerfully, an ounce of ease in her voice. However, her smile was soon replaced with a confused look as she knelt down, tilting her head to one side. If he didn’t want people to see his scars, why was he lying here, with his shirt so high up that everyone could see. “Are you alright? You seem a little…dazed…” she asked, sounding a little concerned about him and exactly why he was staring off into space for no apparent reason. Maybe it had something to do with those words he had been yelling when he woke up. Something about being a husband or something like that. A frown crossed her face as she thought about this.

The sound of Suzume approaching was completely missed by Nanashi, whose gaze was transfixed on the face of the girl straddling him. She, however, heard Suzume coming and put her finger to his lips to stop him from speaking. "You will come back to me one day, I just know it." Smiling, she removed her finger and promptly vanished as Suzume approached. Nanashi blinked in astonishment, but said nothing, not even as Suzume spoke to him. Her words were met with naught but a bewildered look and a half-assed effort to put his shirt down. After slipping the article of clothing down to his navel, he was up on his elbows, having returned his gaze to where she had been. His skin still felt her touch, and now that he really thought about it, he realized that her touch had been far more electrifying than when he had touched Suzume.

Nanashi had come here to get out of his head, but that apparently hadn't worked all that well as that girl had shown up anyway. She was damn hard to get rid of, but emitted such a relaxing aura that he couldn't help but like her. She had called him her husband, which confused and astounded him since he hadn't remembered getting married, but that was a moot point considering the fact that he didn't even know his own name. Arguably, this revelation would certainly explain the ring on the gold chain he kept around his neck. It had been among his personal effects at the hospital, and they said he had been wearing it, but Nanashi had no idea what it was for. He had tried to leave it off when he found a place to stay, but he found that it felt right to be wearing it, not to have it off. It was odd, yet it certainly made sense.

As his head filled with thoughts, he quickly shook it to wipe it clean as he attempted to focus on Suzume. He looked up at her normally for a change and then cocked his eyebrow like he had just noticed her and hadn't even heard her question or prior statement. "What are ya doing out this late? It's a forest, there are animals. It's dangerous fer a girl, ya' know. You should be at home enjoying a nice meal or something." Hopping to his feet, he dusted off his pants, straightened his shirt, and adjusted the golden braided cord that held Sōshinome to his body. After doing so, he placed his hand on her shoulder to steer her in the direction of the Seireitei. His finger brushed the bare skin on her neck. It was as he thought; nothing. Suzume didn't excite him, but some girl that seemed to exist only in his mind made him crazy by being present for only a few seconds. This was all very confusing.

Suzume crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for him to answer. While she wasn’t usually like this, this odd behaviour was definitely confusing her. She liked to be able to classify people, to be able to put them into one place and know where they stood. Nanashi was most certainly not making any sort of sense to her at the moment. Firstly he had talked about amnesia and the fact that he didn’t like anyone seeing his scars, but then she found him out here, in a public place, with his shirt pulled up and his scars visible to anyone who might decide to walk here. Then, when she had asked him what the matter was, he merely looked even more confused than she did at the moment. This was absolutely doing her head in. Maybe it was time somebody attempted to explain something to her, since she obviously did not get any of this. She had been intending to find some sense of normality with Nanashi, like some sort of smart comment or joke, but instead, she ended up with something even more abnormal than usual. If she kept on thinking about this for much longer, she was going to end up with a headache or something worse than that.

It seemed like an eternity before he seemed to return back to normal, before saying something which was a little more expected, about how she shouldn’t be out this late and about her being a girl and all that. While this was much easier for her to accept as being him, she couldn’t help but notice that he didn’t answer, or purposefully ignored, her previous question when she had asked him what was the matter with him. She couldn’t stop herself from letting out a soft growl as he brushed her neck, although she knew that she was being pretty childish. It was most likely accidental, of course, but still, she hated being touched at all by any man. As he started to manoeuvre her in the direction of the Sereitei, she stopped, before turning around and crossing her arms. There was no sense of playfulness in her facial expression, only a serious and grave look. “I’m not a little girl needing to be taken care of, as you should realize by now, and don’t try to divert the topic. You are the most confusing person I have ever met in my entire life and I need answers. Now. Why the hell were you staring up into nothingness and why were you there in the first place?” she asked sternly, seeming very like a teacher who was demanding answers out of a misbehaving student.

"Pardon the bluntness of my following statement, but it's not really any of your business if I'm acting weird or not. I don't get why you're demanding that I explain why I was away from living quarters. I just met you, and I guess we are friends now sorta, but I don't wanna go tellin' everything that happens to me to someone, or anyone for that matter. I ain't like that." Nanashi yawned and move his hand to the back of his head and rubbed it for a moment. "Sharin' secrets isn't really my thing, you just got lucky and were able to catch me off guard to hear about my scars. If you can consider hearing such a boring story lucky. So basically I'm curious to hear why you're demanding it out of me. If you wanna explain that to me, please do. But if not, that's fine also." Shifting gears so he could ignore his odd little wife-apparition, Nanashi simply reached out and flicked Suzume on the forehead lightly after he had finished speaking. His hand retreated, only to find itself in his pocket a few seconds later. Hunching his shoulders, Nanashi stepped right past her and started to walk out of the forest. "Besides, you are a little girl, and as far as I'm concerned, you do need taking care of. Even if you disagree, that's not the point. That's what I do, I'm a protector. So stop fighting it and just let me do what I do best. It's not like you have anything to lose."

Suzume’s lips, if possible, managed to purse even more, forming one straight disapproving line. She uncrossed her arms and crossed them again, barely seeming to pay attention to her actions at all. When he lightly tapped her on the forehead, she looked at him, her expression completely blank. This…was really irritating her. Why the hell did she have to inquire after somebody who wouldn’t tell her anything? Maybe she was just a glutton for punishment or something along those lines. She had heard about people who wanted to know everything they weren’t allowed to, or wanted to do things they weren’t allowed to. Was she becoming like that. Watching him as he began to move out of the forest, she sighed, whacking her head with her palm. She was behaving like a complete idiot. Somehow around him, she seemed to be even more on edge and they always seemed to be getting into arguments. Maybe their personalities clashed too much, or they simply couldn’t get along. Sounding as if she had given up on something, she said blankly, “I’m asking this about you, simply because you’re absolutely baffling me. You seem to switch from one extreme to another and you are making no sense whatsoever.” She decided to ignore him talking about her still being a little girl and needing protection. If she went any further with that, it was going to spill into one massive quarrel.

Turning his head, Nanashi spared her a glance behind him. but didn't break his stride. If she wanted to hear him or talk to him, she would just have to keep up. "I'm not supposed to make sense, I'm just... well whoever I am. Sorry if you're confused by me, but it's not like I have some dark inner secret that I'm hiding from you." Pausing, he put a finger to his lips and glanced upwards. "Well, that could be false since I don't know anything about my past, but whatever." Falling silent, he picked up his pace as a black loosely-shaped oval formed off to his right. He glanced at it, but once he realized what it was, he shrugged it off and returned his focus to his front. Sōshinome stepped out of this hole as it spiraled open from it's exact center, revealing a pristine white area behind the Spirit. Once the spiraling area of the oval hit the sides and Sōshinome was fully out of this portal, it faded out of sight, returning the scenery where he stepped out of to normal. At least to Nanashi, that is.

The spirit stepped in line with Nanashi, towering over the Shinigami at almost seven feet as compared to Nanashi's 6'7½". He cocked his head to the side, looking down at his master, then spoke. "Why do you push her away? She's very cute and at least seems to like you." Nanashi seemed to consider the possible answers to this statement, and just when it looked as though he was prepared to respond, he did not. In fact, he nearly treated the spirit like he hadn't spoken. "Is it because of your pretend wife? That's just not healthy. You want a memory over a living, breathing partner?" When Nanashi failed to respond and instead put his hands behind his head and crossed his fingers, Sōshinome groaned and clapped a hand on Nanashi's right shoulder. "Nana. She has real skin, a real touch, everything... but you'd rather have some girl that seems to exist only in your mind?" Shrugging Sōshinome's hand off his shoulder, Nanashi finally responded. "It's not like we were compatible to begin with. She's uptight, and I'm carefree." There was a long pause before Nanashi continued. "She has a touch too, and it feels amazing. I don't know how to describe it, nor can I even begin to understand it, but I believe her. I guess I have a wife; somewhere, sometime." Shrugging again, Nanashi vanished and landed at the bottom of the hill, leaving his spirit to turn to the girl that couldn't even see him. Sōshinome sized her up again, paying specific attention to her figure. "He's mental, that's what." He commented before making himself scarce.

Suzume tried to match his walking speed, following him until he seemed to have no more things to say. Then, she found herself stopping, through one fault or another. Her body didn’t seem to want to answer to her thoughts today, or at the very least, her conscious thoughts. Maybe all this confusion came from his lack of knowledge about his past. Did something happen? While he said that he had no dark inner secret, most people got amnesia or something close to it from them wanting to run away from something. After all, people did lock away memories consciously, forgetting something that they didn’t want to remember. It was a hard thing to do, but people had managed it. Looking at his receding back, she deliberated over whether or not she should follow him. It was a difficult thing to be able to talk to someone who didn’t know about things himself and she was getting a real headache from this. But why did she persist in knowing? Usually, she’d just leave the other person alone, after scolding them a little bit. Staunchly pushing away any contrary thoughts, she firmly told herself that it was simply curiosity and a little bit of pity for him. Nothing else at all.

For some strange reason, he seemed to be talking again, but was it to her? Maybe, maybe not. Taking a quick scan of the surroundings, she found no-one nearby, except probably those knocked-out guards. Then again, who else around here could he be talking to? Turning away, she was about to stalk off in the opposite direction, when she was hit by a sudden memory of her foster mother and her, one of their few talks that they had that did not concern anything to do with girly things. Her foster mother had been trying to educate her on the importance of pushing forward and not letting things get in the way - perseverance. “Remember that if you don’t try, you will never know, so don’t give up at the first problem.” her mother had told her. Was she giving up like that? Yes, she was. She wouldn’t let things like these affect her so much, not when she had other issues to deal with in her own time. Really, she had never found out what else her foster mother had wanted to tell her about that idea, since that topic was abruptly ended when she naively asked about whether or not her big sister’s persistent stance on going into the Gotei 13 could be considered perseverance. Maybe people in general found it irritating to talk to her. Whirling around again, she hurriedly caught up with Nanashi, moving towards the bottom of the hill. Deciding to direct this topic into safer grounds, she asked quietly, “By the way…your stomach wounds from that Arrancar…do they still hurt?”

Turning his head to the side, Nanashi blinked at Suzume and then answered her question in haste. "No... not really." It was true, they didn't hurt anymore as he had already walked off the pain. As he looked at the top of her head, Nanashi frowned at the fact that he was acting terribly out of character. Truth be told, he simply wasn't feeling hyper or anything of the like due to this new development. Also, he felt half-guilty that he was out with this girl at night, taking a long walk that could be construed as romantic when he apparently had a wife. Finally he stopped dead in his tracks and looked towards her with an apologetic face. "Sorry, but I don't really feel like being with anyone at the moment, I'd much rather be alone. Some other time, I guess." With this he promptly vanished with a Shunpo, leaving the area completely.

[Ugh, too tired, no inspiration.

Suzume bowed her head in silence, saying to the empty air, “Alright, goodbye.” She stood there, barely moving for a few seconds, before shaking her head and slowly walking off in the opposite direction. It took her a while to realize the fact that there was a person next to her. At first, she had thought it to be her own zanpakuto spirit, but this was a girl, for heaven’s sake, with silver hair. Letting out a shriek of surprise, she tumbled headfirst, landing very clumsily on her backside. The other girl winced as she mumbled, “So unaware of her surroundings…no wonder Eli’s so worried about her sister…” Suzume stared at the girl, utterly confused. “Pardon me for my bluntness, but who the hell are you? And how do you know my sister?” The girl tossed her hair back, before examining her nails as if that interested her more than anything else. “I’ve seen you before, but you haven’t seen me before. Thought I’d introduce myself now – I’m your sister’s zanpakuto spirit, Huang.” Huang’s head flicked upwards, as the spirit’s red and purple eyes analysed her. Suzume was now feeling extremely awkward, opening and shutting her mouth as she attempted to figure out exactly what to say.

Deciding to settle for the most obvious question, she asked, “It’s very nice to meet you, Huang, but I was wondering whether you knew where my sister is at the moment. I was thinking of talking to her sometime.” To her surprise, the other girl’s face twisted in pain as if she was remembering something that she found unpleasant, not to mention the spirit was shuffling her feet in an uncomfortable manner. Finally recalling to give an answer, Huang replied nervously, “Yeah, um, I’d advise you not to bother her at the moment. She’s…dealing with certain things at the moment. Bothering her would be most painful for both of you. I thought it might be better if I got out of there to give her some privacy but…yeah. Don’t visit your sister now. Maybe later.” They eyed each other then, one blushing while the other was simply confused. “If you want, I can explain a little better…but maybe somewhere private might be better.” Huang said in a tired voice. Suzume nodded, before leading the spirit away from the area.

Fullbringer
________________________________________________________________________________________

User ImageLetting out a long but quiet sigh of relief, Jose twirled his Pistola around his fingers, before deactivating his Fullbring to revert it back to a harmless belt buckle. In front of him stood the disintegrating corpse of the hollow, the fatal shot from Jose’s Pisotal having blown a sizeable hole straight through its head. From there its body started to disintegrate into a black vapor, something Jose had grown accustomed to seeing. It was a low-level hollow, something that would’ve been suffocated to death the moment it was exposed to a Captain’s reiatsu, but for a mere human it was a monster to bring down. Patting himself on the back, Jose then stood up from his crouched position and renewed his search ”That’s that then, time to get back to work.” he stated, approaching the door of the seemingly abandoned building.

About thirty minutes ago, their teacher announced that they were missing one student from the class, a Miss Hiiragi Emiya, who went missing after she told her friends that she would catch up with them. Being the self-fashioned superhero that he was-- though he would never openly admit it-- Jose immediately volunteered to be part of the search team, even though all of them were required to help in searching, unless they had an illness. After a bit of searching, Jose detected the presence of a hollow and thought it had a connection with Hiiragi Emiya’s disappearance. Dashing towards the location of the hollow, he immediately confronted it and killed it without delay. Their fight had occurred in the apartment’s vacant lot, and thus they were unseen by passerby’s because of the wall that encompassed the area. However, as a safety precaution, Jose utilized Silenciar Alma on his Pistola, just in case someone was nearby.

Knocking on the door, Jose waited for about five minutes before concluding that the house was entirely abandoned. Sparing a quick glance behind him to make sure he was alone, Jose made his way towards one of the windows. Swiping his hand over his belt buckle, Jose quickly materialized a pistol and pointed it towards the window. Silencing the pistol once more, Jose shot the glass near the handle of the window, before reaching out to open it once the broken glass was out of the way. Stepping into the dark hallway, Jose sneaked his way through the corridor, keeping his pistol out in case there were any hostiles, and more or less copying the secret agents he would often see in movies.

After a thorough search of the interior complex, Jose decided that Hiiragi Emiya was probably on the roof, if not then he just wasted his time. Reaching the rooftop Jose hanged his head in disbelief as the entire search of the building turned out to be a waste of time. Deactivating his Fullbring, Jose was about to go back the way he came, when his eyes caught a glimpse of a two sliding doors literally appearing from nowhere. The two doors, obviously oriental in design, seemed to be suspended in mid-air, slowly opening to as a bright light heralded two oddly dressed men exiting the portal that seemed to defy the laws of space ”Geez, I can’t believe he seriously asked us to do this.” commented one of them as Jose quickly retreated to the back of the rooftop’s entrance door ”I know, right? It’s good that he’s trying to cut back on our spending, and stuff. But man oh man; there’s gotta be a limit to that.” conversed the two. Jose couldn’t hear them, but the fact that two suspicious looking characters showed up near the location where Hiiragi Emiya was last spotted was reason enough to deem them suspects in her disappearance.

Picking up from the aforementioned secret agent movies he had watched, Jose quickly activated his Fullbring, materializing two pistols as he revealed himself to the enemy. Without warning, he then opened fire on the two, unloading a full cartridge on each of them before stopping. Steadying his aim, he rushed over to their bodies, and was surprised to see that they were still alive. Thinking back, he recalled them shouting something, before a sound like glass breaking was heard amidst the gunfire. Whatever it was, it saved them from being minced meat, which was good as Jose wasn’t too comfortable killing human enemies. Grabbing a conveniently placed length of rope, Jose tied the two of them securely to the railing before heading out into the sliding door just as it began to close.

Unknowingly, his body was converted into spiritual matter, and before he knew it, he found himself in a dreary looking hallway, the walls looking as if they were made of dark, violet colored mud that seemed to move in a snail like motion. Wary of his environments, Jose took out his Fullbring and began to cautiously walk forward, that is until the rumbling sound of something rapidly approaching him from behind caught his attention. Turning around to see what it was, his eyes widened at the sight of a large train-like object hurdling towards him, with no intention of stopping ”Dammit!” yelled Jose, transforming the two pistols into a handheld grenade launcher, before opening fire upon the incoming behemoth.

After firing a total of four shots, Jose’s jaw dropped in disbelief as the train seemed to vaporize his shots upon contact. Realizing there was nothing he could do against such an enemy, he stowed the gun and ran for his life, to no avail as the train was significantly faster than he could hope to be even after he had activated Rapida Alma. Feeling the looming shadow behind him, Jose was certain that this would be it for him, until he felt his foot tripping over something. Or rather, it wasn’t that his foot tripped on something, it was that the ground suddenly disappeared below him. Suddenly finding himself a few stories in the air, Jose felt that time had stopped and that he was floating miles above the ground, until reality caught up with him and he began falling towards his imminent death ”AAAHH!!!” he yelled as he fell towards the ground.

"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."

She had been there since before dawn, to be honest, similar to the past five days of her existence. As per usual, the general area at the base of Sōkyoku Hill was bare except for the familiar early risers going about the completion of their own agendas for the day. That did not bother her. Nothing bothered her at this time of day especially when she was training intensely with her newly forged swords. Fortunately, she had been able to get the swords used in her training remade from the same hilts. It felt good to have the sun shining down on your every movement as you pushed yourself to achieve more than what was thought to be possible. Presently, she was in the last stages of her training which meant that both the kodachi and wakiashi were in use. The calm morning atmosphere allowed her thoughts to focus on her smooth transitional motions as well as her immediate surroundings. It is for that reason that she heard the faintest of screams above her as if someone were falling in that direction. With a slight glance upwards, Yori had the displeasure of seeing someone, definitely not a Shinigami, dropping through the air to meet her. Immediately, the young Lieutenant replaced her blades into her waist sash and moved via Shunpo while shouting fiercely, "Bakudō #37: Tsuriboshi!" She did not know who this person was but until it was determined, he will be marked as an enemy. Holding on to the Kido net that had connected itself against the Hill and some nearby trees, she continued with her offense by chanting, "Hadō #31: Shakkahō." The web-like structure became alight immediately and with her partial fire affinity, it would surely be hotter than usual. If everything went according to plan, the supposed ryoka would fall into the net safely and then, be caught in the searing flames as they lined the so-called safety net. Once the Hado spell had left her lips, Yori released the net but walked closer to it. "Who the hell are you and what is your reason for being here? I demand these answers!" She stopped when she was close enough that the flames seemed to lash out at her. It did not even bother her when everything exploded a few seconds later because of the spell that was used. Simply, she let the smoke and debris passed over her and waited for a response. She did not have it in her to let something bad happen again to her home.

As he fell from the sky, Jose took note of the landscape around him. The war-torn scenery was dreary, to say the least. The streets were filled with rubble from the nearby structures; some of the buildings were completely leveled, exposing the bedrock underneath them. By the look of things, Jose was confident that he was no longer in Australia, and from the design of the buildings, he doubt he was in his present time, the infrastructure of the entire complex was similar to the ancestral houses and neighborhoods he would often see in Japan. But, this was no mere neighborhood; the entire complex was the size of a town, more so even. For him to suddenly find himself in such a situation, the only rational conclusion Jose could come up with was ”Time travel, huh?”” he whispered to himself, oblivious to the truth.

However, whether he was correct or not would come later, right now the immediate danger to him needed to be addressed, and that was the fact that he was still plummeting towards his end. Gritting his teeth, he rattled his head to come up with a way to save himself, until the sound of female voice caught his attention. The words were inaudible from where he was, but he could readily see the safety net that suddenly materialized below him. Grinning, he thought that someone had come to his rescue, but as he approached, he realized that the net was composed of living fire; no doubt his assailant was planning on subduing him as opposed to simply allowing him to die.

Though grateful for their so-called concern, Jose wasn’t about to allow himself to get captured just like that ”Gonna have to do better than that, Lanzagranadas!” he yelled as he whipped out his grenade launcher from thin air. Pointing it towards the blazing net, Jose prepared himself to cast Flotante Alma on himself at the same time the grenade would impact upon the net. When the time came, Jose pulled on the trigger and released the explosive, sending it straight towards the net, whereupon it exploded both the trap and itself. Using the resulting air wave to support himself, Jose released Flotante Alma, allowing him to further decelerate his fall, where he eventually landed on the ground, as the smoke and debris began to clear up.

Going with the flow, Jose pointed the grenade launcher towards his assailant, an oddly dressed female, who was approximately around his age, if not younger ”Halt! What have you done with Hiiragi Emiya?! Answer me now, or face the consequences!” he declared gallantly, staring towards the girl. Due to the explosion, he was unable to hear what she asked him herself, and even if he did, he would not answer questions from an enemy.

"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."

Yori backed away and shielded her face with her arm when the explosion seemed to double in its size. She had heard yelling before it happened figured that more than likely, the result had been caused by her latest opponent. She jumped back a few times till the space between them had tripled at least. With the cloud of debris growing less and less, Yori raised her head at the sound of the same male voice telling her something to see a young man. He looked the age that she was when she died or more. His height was throwing her off on that aspect of his appearance. Other than that, she was less than interested in who he was personally. "Look," she shouted to be heard over the distance, "I don't know who Hiragi Emiya is, Furboy. All that I know is that you are an intruder. You have to die." While saying this, the girl had straightened her stance and drawn both of her blades, the kodachi in her right and the wakizashi in the left. Her facial expression was neutral as was her custom. Without warning, Yori lowered herself and shot forward in a swift Shunpo that landed her directly in front of the boy's waist. Maintaining her moment, she shot her right hand upwards to crush his jaw against the hilt before slashing against his abdomen with her left. Slowing down, she moved to his side and turned her blade around before using the right hand to gut him from the waist up to the arm that held the grenade launcher. Moving at a fast but mangeable speed for a human, she continued to move around him till she was behind him exactly. "Go," she whispered, bringing both hilts down to crack the boy's shoulders, an action that would transition nicely into both swords slashing him all the way down till she was sitting more or less.
