Nature... It was everywhere!
An old blue car zipped up the road outside of town. The Planetarium, huh? A good place to meet girls? Yea right. someone had obviously been lying to him. But then why did he still go up there? Well.... He had nothing better to do that day. And that was just sad.
Simon sighed. Maybe messing around in the woods would be enough when he got bored of the Planetarium. It's not like he really planned to be there in there that long anyway. Unless, there were some cute girls he could score. He chuckled to himself as he finally pulled up to it.
Despite the brightness of the sun, the moon still could be seen off in the distance. Maybe I could get some chick to tour me around. He stretched for a few moments before idly heading to the entrance.

Tre fixed her name tag on her vest before walking out of the staff area. She was smiling. A real smile. Not like those fake grimaces most of the others who worked there had. But she was honestly happy to be working there. She greeted an elderly couple, regulars who came in every other weekend. As always, she offered to tour them around. They declined, as always and shuffled on.
Tre hummed to herself a sort of childish song about a crescent moon until she saw someone else walk in. "Welcome to King's City Planetarium." She smiled. "Is this your first time?"

Simon looked over the girl who had approached him. Today must be my lucky day~ He smiled, "Oh, how did ja know?" He placed a hand on his chest with a little wave. "My friends told me about this place, so I thought I'd drop by." He didn't need to tell her everything about why he came. Pretty much just to see if he could find some girls but...
He squinted his eyes, looking at her name tag. "Trecia is it?" He smirked, "Lovely name. I'm Simon. Do you give tours?"

"Yes sir. You may call me either Trecia, or Tre, if you prefer. If this is your first time, we have guide books that might be interesting, but if you prefer, I would be more then happy to show you around, Simon." She could feel her cheeks grow just a little bit warm when he said her name was lovely. She tried to ignore it.
"Is... there anything in particular that you would like to see here? Or shall we just wander, and I can show you things of interest?"

He ran a hand through his jet black hair. Was she blushing? Simon stifled a laugh, "Ok, Tre," He looked around the building, "How about we start with.... The sun!" How original, let's start at the beginning and work our way out. Although, this would give him the time to chat her up. Maybe even get her phone number.
"So, after you." He motioned to the side, "Because I have no clue where to go." In truth, he just wanted to stare at her back side while they walked.

She smiled at that. "Sounds good. Start at the center of our solar system." She waved for him to follow, or walk beside her, as she lead him to the central room, the sun room. Of course, it was obligatory to start with information. The mass and estimated weight of the sun, the life cycle of stars like the sun. There was another tour guide in the room, and every so often his voice carried over to them when he stumbled on his words before looking at his cheat sheet cards, and sewed information like a teacher vomiting facts at a student.
Tre however, was getting into it. And if it looked like Simon was bored with the facts she dove into mythology, how the sun was worshiped, and jokes about the sun and fertility. "If I'm ever boring you though, please, let me know."

Simon laughed at her jokes, asked her questions in a cool, sly voice, and paid attention to her every word. She sure did make learning fun. He though to himself, a small grin settled on his lips. "You're not boring me at all." And it was the truth, "Now if I had that guy over there," he pointed to the man fumbling with his cards, "I'd probably leave and never come back." He chuckled, watching the man for a second and returning his gaze to Trecia.
"Now let's see." He held up his hand to stoke an imaginary goatee, "If what I remember is correct, Mercury is next." He was glad that he payed attention in school for those lessons.

"You know what they say, love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life." She smiled warmly. "Yes, Mercury is the next stop." She watched him and giggled at his gesture. "Mercury is a lot like the moon.... only a lot hotter."
"The planet was named for the Roman god of grain and commerce. But the Greek equivalent was a hermaphrodite." She laughed. She took him through Mercury, and Venus. But she had to stop and ask "Would you like me to take you through Earth, or would you like to go right to the moon? I know not everyone cares to learn about the planet we live on."

"That's a good sayin'" He nodded and followed her to Mercury. Not as hot as you. He wanted to just blurt that out while she was talking, but he showed some restraint. He laughed as she explained the Greek equivalent to the Roman god. He was having a nice time.
When they approached the Earth, he smirked. "Well since we live on this big blue thing," he gestured around himself, "Then the moon would be a good bet."

Tre smirks and nods. "Yeah. Besides. That's what earth science is for. Or biology, or physical science, right?" There was just way to much to know about this planet. And there was always more to learn.
Upon entering the moon exhibit, Trecia gestured towards the large model of the moon above them. "Did you know that people used to think there was water on the moon?"

"Really?" Simon had not given it much though. The moon, to him, was a piece of rock far off in the distance changing in shape through the phases. Though he could not recall all of them, the crescent moon was his favorite. He looked on at the exhibit, finally taken his eyes off Tre.
"Could you explain some more about the moon?" The models and facts surrounding the exhibit could only do so much, but hearing it from that beautiful voice would stick in his mind for years to come.

"Of course!" Tre offered. And at length, she talked to him about the moon, the mythology surrounding the moon, and the phases. Simon seemed the most interested in the various 'lakes' the moon offered, so she spoke about them as in depth as she could.
This was why she loved this job. People listened. And sometimes people developed a new interest in the science after hearing the fiction. Not that she would get technical about it or anything. At least, not too much so.
As they went through the rest of the tour, Simon didn't seem as interested in the planets. A short run through them sort of made up for the amount of time they spent simply talking about the moon though. "Do you have any other questions?"

Simon listened intently to all she had to say about the moon. He never knew that the moon was just so... Fascinating. Though with a girl like that to explain it to him, it made it all the more interesting.
As their tour moved on, he didn't seem to take as much interest in the other planets, but he did look over Trecia more. He was snapped from his thoughts by her question, "Any thing else? Hm..." He place a hand on his head scratching it gently. Might as well go in for the kill. "How about some fun later on?" Not the fun he had previously thought about. "I know an arcade in town that we could go to." It might have been weird to ask this girl who he had just met out, but Simon was feeling cocky. Tre seemed nice enough, what was the harm?

Tre tilted her head to one side, smiling at him. "You don't waste any time, do you?" Her tone wasn't unkind. It was playful. "Are you sure you want some nerdy little space girl like me to go with you?" She didn't particularly want to mention she had in fact not been to an arcade since she was in grade school. Though she did kick a** in Waka-waka Man and Street Brawler Arcade. "I get off at 5. Where should I meet you?"

Simon ran his hand through his hair. It had actually worked! He let out a sigh of relief. "You can meet me...." He grabbed a pamphlet and pen out of his pocket, finding a space to write the directions. "Meet me here at 7." He smirked, handing her the directions. "Is that enough time for you to get ready?" Girls and the time it takes them to get ready. Though, they do look mighty fine when they're through.
