Orange Juice.
Kunai was sick of it.
Thanks to the Doctor's orders, the pink haired elite was essentially stuck in her office for the most part. No rigorous activities for at least two weeks to make certain her wound wouldn't open up again. Drink lots of orange juice to help her with all the blood she had lost.
It essentially meant two weeks of no training.
The Elite pushed her cup to her mouth and took a swig of the orange juice which was starting to make her want to puke up the Vitamin C filled beverage.
About the only thing that she could really do beside paperwork was target practice. And it got old after a while throwing her knives at the same wall over and over again.
So today she decided to do some evaluations.
Her main victims were the two Grunts who had worked with her at the Museum. Grunt Cal and Grunt Leonard. The evaluations were already typed up and on the monitor of her computer.
Now she just needed the Grunts.
Using her Rocket-dex, she sent the individual summons to each Grunt.
You have ten minutes to arrive to my office.
The message was signed from Elite Agent Kunai.
Now to wait.

Now today was a day to relax. The weather was nice and she had been so worried and jittery the past few days that a nice day out would be lovely. Cal had all her things ready when her Rocket-dex chimed. She quickly flipped it open to a startling message.
You have ten minutes to arrive to my office.
"What the hell?" She stared at the odd message on her screen. Who would play a trick on her, just when she was about to go out? Before she disregarded it completely she glanced at the sender. "Oh dear Arceus..." Her mouth agape. What did she want with her? Just when she was about to go out no less! But now was not the time for complaining. Now was the time to book it and get to Kunai's office. Where was it again?
The clock seemed to go faster as she made her way through the building. "Her office should be right... There!" she gave a huge sigh of relief. After consulting a map she was there in a flash, with two minutes to spare.
She knocked on the office door gently. "Elite Kunai?" She paused, "It's Grunt Cal, you called for me?" She held her hand on the doorknob tentatively. She would not open the door until Kunai allowed her to come in. Wouldn't want to ruffle any more feathers.

Leonard was taking a much deserved break, in between training and missions. He was in his room, playing a video game, so deeply engrossed that he didn't hear his Pokedex beep at first.
But then it continued beeping, and he figured that maybe the sound wasn't coming from his game after all. He paused the game and glanced down at the Pokedex, which displayed a very brief message.
You have ten minutes to arrive to my office.
Who's office? When he saw who the sender was, his heart sank a little. Kunai just couldn't give him a break couldn't she? What was this all about anyway?
Taking the time to save and quit, since this will probably take a while, he arrived at Kunai's office moments after Cal did.
"And so is Grunt Leonard." He chimed in.

On the other side of the closed door, one word was said loud enough for both Grunts to hear.
"Come."
When the door finally opened, the two would find Kunai at her desk with two chairs set up on the other side for the Grunts to sit down at. The office was well organized with several stacks of books lined up at the wall. Her desk had a small pile of papers in an "out" basket, obviously nothing of the Grunts' concerns.
Kunai's green eyes, as sharp as ever, were currently glaring expectantly at the two while they entered.

Cal entered to a sharp glare. This was one of those moments when you were glad looks couldn't kill. With the other Grunt from the mission had arrived, she knew that they were going to be chewed out, and maybe even submitted to various amounts of torture. Mentally and physically. She gulped down her worries and took a look around the room.
Nice, neat, and organized. As expected from an elite. She took a seat in the one of the chairs that were set out for them and took a calm breath, returning her eyes to Kunai's. "You wanted to see us?" She managed to talk in an even tone, even though she wanted to hide in a corner on the inside.

Leonard wasn't as shaken as Cal, but he was nervous all the same. Especially since the Elite probably didn't recover from the gunshot wound she received on the raid, judging from the orange juice. He could imagine her blaming them for the injury, or for just about everything else that went wrong then. Yes, they did mess up some, but it turned out ok didn't it? For them...
He had nothing to say, so he just remained silent and waited for the grilling to commence.

Green eyes first followed Cal, then followed Leonard. However, her eyes fell back on Cal the moment she dared to take a seat.
"Did they not teach you a single thing about etiquette when dealing with a superior, Grunt?!"
The pink-haired Elite stood up, picked up her glass of orange juice, and walked up in front of Cal's chair. Leonard might have thought he was safe with how the shortest person in the room glared at the other girl, until a sharp tone reminded him "I should demote both of you for failing to salute a superior upon entering my office."
Had Kunai even looked at Leonard after her statement? No. She was still looking at the other girl in the room. "You are a presumptuous Grunt! I do not recall inviting either one of you to take a seat yet!"
That was about Cal's only warning. With a simple flick of the wrist, orange juice was splashed in the girl's face. There was no change in Kunai's absolutely sour expression. Taking one whole step back, she gave a firm command.
"At attention, Grunts!" There was a slight pause in her voice before she began to count backwards aloud.
"5...4...3..."

A mix of shock and confusion was plastered on her face.
Cal looked up at the elite, orange juice stinging her eyes painfully. What had happened? It all went by so fast. One minute she was sitting down, the next she was drenched in the orange drink. She stared at the elite in a daze. Had that really happened? But now was not the time for thinking, it was the time for doing. she heard Kunai steadily countdown.
She stood up, at attention, immediately after the countdown started. She furrowed her brow and focused her anger on a distant object and remained as serous as she possibly could. She hadn't even had a chance to wipe the juice from her eyes. She would have uttered a "Sorry ma'am," but she decided that the utmost formal behavior had to be used in this situation.

The hell?! Leonard couldn't believe what Kunai was saying, and he would've thought that she was pulling their legs or something until she threw orange juice at Cal. Even though it wasn't aimed at him, a little bit of the liquid splashed him, waking him up from a dream into a nightmare.
He should have said something. He wanted to say something. But he had the feeling that anything other than an apology would've earned him orange juice in his face, or worse.
So he straightened up, saluted, and uttered a "Yes ma'am" while a small scowl slowly appeared on his face.

With the proper response from each Grunt, Kunai gave a proper response. "You may be seated" There was no kindness to her tone, just strict professionalism. Team Rocket was not a place for kindness. The pink-haired girl had known no such thing as she worked in Kanto and Johto. She waited for the two lowly grunts to take their seats before she rounded back to her own seat.
As much as she hated the orange juice she had been drinking, it was unfortunately a necessary supplement to her own recovery. She could have made some small talk by mentioning why she had the orange juice, or the fact that she honestly wanted to puke up the pure vitamin C. Yet, instead, she remained silent as she opened up a drawer to her desk and pulled out a can of juice.
The pair of Grunts probably expected Kunai to use her trademark knife to open up the can, but instead she simply snapped the tab and began to pour it into her glass.
"Grunt Cal and Grunt Leonard. I have requested your presence today for the sake of giving you an evaluation based upon your performance during the mission at the Museum. It is a standard procedure I used in other regions. It is a helpful tool if a Rocket is willing to listen to the criticism. However, I don't sugar coat things."
She paused for a moment and took a sip of the sickening orange liquid from her glass. Kunai could have made a face, but that would not have been professional.
"Your responsibility as a Grunt is to listen to my criticisms. If you speak out or try to defend yourself unnecessarily, you will be feeling the back of my hand against your face. You listen, that is your job right now."

Cal pursed her lips, cautiously taking her seat when told. An evaluation, huh? She had heard of Kunai's so called evaluations. Wouldn't she find anything she didn't think you did right and go on and on about it? This is going to be loads of fun. She thought sarcastically, but not showing any hint of laughter. She gave Kunai a nod, not planning on speaking unless instructed to do so.
