CHRONICLES OF THE GALACTIC CIVIL WAR
EPISODE III
LIGHTS OF PEACE

Despite victory for the NEW REPUBLIC at the Battle of Yavin IV, the war still rages on. The Republic faces an uphill battle, as many Federation droid forces still linger on valuable planets with no orders but defend their territory.

While the Republic attempts to regain lost ground and the FEDERATION OF SITH LOYALISTS crumbles, a splinter group known as the DRACON SOVEREIGN AMALGAMATION, lead by the new Sith Lord DRAKO PRIME, quickly takes advantage of the situation and threatens to suceed where the Federation failed.

As ANGEL SYRICIA and an amnesiatic PHOENIX FERON, now known by TREY FERON, search for a legendary mentor, the galaxy moves quickly to set the stage for the final stages of the Droid Wars, and with it, the fate of the galaxy at stake...

Rules:

1) Listen to all mods. They can and will expel anyone who breaks any rules.

2) All guild and Gaia rules apply automatically.

3) Simple RP guidelines will be followed. God-modding is forbidden. Puppeting is only allowed at the consent of both parties involved. Other noobish devices used will also be noted, and will be pointed out and corrected. All characters have a weakness that can be readily exploited by everyone. This does not mean its evident, but remember there should be one.

4) Literacy is vital to being accepted. This means proper sentence structure and spelling, along with good enough grammar to be understood. And please, no light color fonts such as yellow, cyan, or anything which causes us old farts to squint.

5) This is a third-person limited RP. Meaning that you will not use "I" or any forms of self-narration except in dialogue. Dialogue and thoughts will be separated from narration, via quotation marks and italics. Also, this means you will NOT know necessarily what everyone else is thinking, has said, or magically apparate from half-way across the galaxy just to chat or interact with someone. OCC coments are also to be put in parenthesis.

6) One liners are to be used in emergencies. However, a good chance that the action will be great enough that you shouldn't need a one liner anyway.

7) HAVE FUN! The only way you dont' have fun is if others aren't having fun. Most of these rules should be second nature to you anyway, so don't worry!

Come on, you've done this enough. You should know this by now.

General Information
This section is one of the more updated section. It will tell people which planets are accessable at the time, as well as other important information that's current with the RP at the moment.

RP Type

This RP is an EU RP. None of the events which are role-played should conflict with any text, but just in case, this is also an AU RP, so there is some levances.

Time Frame

This RP takes place exactly 3 months after the end of Chronicles of the Galactic Civil War: Shards of the Force and the Battle of Yavin. This is approximately 11 years 8 months after the Battle of Endor.

Non-Force User Information

For a greater majority of you, you will be unable to wield the force. Whether it be by choice or not, you basically cannot control the force, though it may still aid you without your knowledge.

Your bios shall be sent and approved by a mod. Grand Admiral Nelowulf is usually the best person to send it to, but other mods will be able to accept you. You should recieve a PM about your confirmation, or questions about the bio. If your PMs are disabled, your bio will NOT be accepted.

For your bio, you should include:

Name:
Age: *
Gender:
Race: **
Occupation:***
Main weapon: ****
Side weapon: ****
Affiliation: (Republic, Federation, or Freelance)

Personal Ship: *****

Short History: ******

Description: *******

*Age must be over 21 to drink. We Card. Its required.

**You can be any race you want. No limitations. No Half-breeds.

***Occupation: Outlaw? Bounty Hunter? Entertainer? Farmboy? I don't want 20 mandelorian Bounty hunters. So if you all start pulling the same occupation, I'll start dumping you. Trust me, the more bounty hunters or outlaws there are, the harder it gets to be "unique" and chances are, you'll develop writers block.

****Your primary weapon can be anything. EXCEPT A LIGHTSABER. However, your secondary weapon may be one. Lightsabers require years of training, even for jedi. You will hurt yourself more than others if a non-force wielder used a lightsaber as a primary weapon. Consider a vibrosword if you must have a sword. Also, if you weild a sword against a jedi, you will lose, even if you were trained by Obi-wan himself. Nor can your sword block blasters. That's a jedi skill. No Exceptions.

*****Your personal ship. You can pick any ship you want, or none at all. However, please describe your ship and modifications. If you can, include a picture. Also, not all of us have infinite credits and the Slave I or the Millenium Falcon. Don't go overboard on the Mods.

****** Your history is optional. If you decide to put a personal history down, do not say "Unknown" or any cheezy drama queen antics. Some of us can do the "unluckiest person in the world" act, but if it becomes a recurring theme, I'll be stopping it right quick.

******* Your appearance must not be the words "Like Avi". Your avi probably changes clothes every day. I doubt a jedi will wear mami wrap with a dark cape, a red clown nose, and reindeer hooves. You can type it out or post a picture. Pictures preferred.

Jedi/Sith Information

For the lucky few who ask and get approval from the mods, you will be force senstive. However, just to be sure, there are special rules for you.

1) Many aspects on the bio are similiar, if not identical, to the non-force user information. Such things as Age, Personal Ship, Appearance, etc., have already been discussed on the previous post. Please take note of what was typed up there.

2) Everyone starts as a padawan or Apprentice. Knighthood comes from serious training, but certain exceptions to the rule may apply (such as sped up training, or specific personal history in some cases).

For your viewing pleasure, the standard jedi and sith codes:

Jedi:
There is no emotion; there is peace
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge
There is no passion; there is serenity
There is no chaos; there is harmony
There is no death; there is only the force

Sith:
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Bio and Force System explained below:

Force Sensitive Bio Version 1.05:

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Race:
Force Affiliation: (light or dark)
Lightsaber Description:
Secondary weapon: (if any?)
Lightsaber Skill Level: ?/10
Force Skill Level: ?/10
Lightsaber Style(s): (dependent on rank and preference)
Force powers:
Personal ship: (Padawans are excluded from owning a personal ship. However, they may borrow ships, until they are knights, and can pay for a personal ship.)

Description:

Bio: (optional)

Padawan/Apprentice: Everyone starts off as a youngling. You must be trained by a knight. Your skills are non-existant mostly. So you start off:

-No force powers, but gain one or two per planet, depending on time spent. Also, training saber only, unless points allow otherwise.

-You recieve 3 skill points

1) Skill levels:

A new implemented system, the skill levels allow for more flexibility between the characters. Depending on your rank (padawan, knight, or master) you will have a different number of points to put into either force mastery, or lightsaber mastery. These points, in turn, unlock new weapons and lightsaber styles. For force mastery, it simply means you will hold more stamina in a battle of the force. Requirements for force skills listed under the force power section. So long as you have enough points, you can use the skills. Meaning if you put 5 points into lightsaber mastery, you can use anything that is 5 points or less (with some limits, explained later)

Requirements (lighsaber mastery):

Form I: Shii-cho- 1 skill point
Training saber- 1 skill point
Form VI: Niman- 3 skill points
Form III: Soresu- 4 skill points
Form IV: Ataru- 4 skill points
Form V: Shien- 4 skill points
Saber Staff- 5 skill points
Form II: Makashi- 5 skill points
Greatsaber- 6 skill points
Form X: Jar'Kai- 7 skill points
Use 2 sabers- 7 skill points
Form VII: Juyo- 9 skill points.
Lightwhip- 10 skill points

2)Force skills

As said before, you will also learn one to two skills per planet. You can choose from (description later):

-Force Push/Pull (1 force pt.)
-Force Jump (1 force point)
-Force Levitate (1 force point)
-Force Speed (1 force point)
-Mind Probe (1 force point)
-Force Persuade (2 force points)

-Force Heal (1 Force point)
-Force feedback (3 force points)
-Battle precognition (1 force point)

-Force Lightning (3 force points)
-Dark Craze (2 force point)
-Force Choke (1 force point)

Skills Description:

You may pick 4 at your leisure. YOU MAY NOT PICK ANY MORE! YOU CAN ONLY USE THE FOUR YOU PICKED! (you are only a padawan, remember?)

Push/Pull: This skill is a duh. You can push or pull one unwilling opponent.

Jump: Ability to jump higher and farther, as well as land with better control from high distances.

Speed: This is you on Crank. You are insanely fast, but only in dire times. You will almost run faster than a laser.

Telekinesis: Allows you to pick up inanimate objects and throw them, such as a rock or your lightsaber.

Mind Probe: Search someone's thoughts and feelings and maybe discover somethign of interest.

Force Persuade: Not quite a mindtrick or mindcloud yet, you can still influence people to a small degree using this skill. It will not affect the strong of mind, and the weak of mind only are influenced, not controlled.

Force Absorb: Take energy or force attacks and deflect them. Cannot override Force Feedback.

Heal: Everybody needs a little healing sometime. Not as good as bacta, but great first aid. However, this is not an instant process. Healing takes time, so use sparringly.

Force Feedback: The limited nature of force absorb is limited to only absorbing or deflecting the attack of lasers and force moves. However, a trained jedi can capture, and then redirect the attack right back at an opponent. However, many times this creates a deadlocked battle, turning the battle into a lightsaber dual instead of a force battle. Also, due to the conduit nature, the counterattack is unable to simply be absorbed.

Battle Precognition: Sensing the flows of the Force, a jedi can have a glimpse into the future and possibly 'see' the opponent's moves, thereinby increasing reaction time.

Dark Craze: A technique that drains you until battle is over or you pass out. Speed, dexderity, strength, and focus increase.

Lightning: Go Palpantine on tha fool! Self-explanitory. Only effective against one person.

Choke: Works on more than just choking, but who cares? Can be used to pick up living objects and throw them as well. So technically it's grip...

Lightsaber styles are limited. For more information on the 8 styles which you can use, please read page 7 of the Outlaw's guide to the galaxy for more information. As a padawan, you're stuck with Form 1:

Shii-Cho (1 saber point)- See OGG

Jedi/Sith Knights: You have passed the Jedi or Sith trials. Now you are a knight. You have all the corresponding skills at your disposal, and four which you are stronger at. Some even upgrade in power, if you picked them at the beginning. Even moreso, your abilities have increased. One important fact to note is the ability to learn a new style. While you still know shii-cho, if you master a different style, shii-cho's advangate/disadvantage only come in 50% of the time. In essence, you have:

-Have all neutral skills and skills on your side of the force available.
-Take orders from the council or lords
-Can train apprentices and become masters.
-Also, can master another style, yet retain Shii-cho.
- 12 points to spend on lightsaber and force mastery.

Remember, even though you are not required to add any more than one or two force points to your que, your skills power will only be as strong as you develop it. Each consecutive point doubles the power of your force strength. Meaning that a master is 512 times stronger than a padawan. Keep this in mind.

The same goes for Lightsaber points. While it may be tempting to dump all into the Force, and use only shii-cho and a lightsaber, you will be easily pwned (trust me) in a lightsaber duel. Each consecutive point into the lightsaber gives you a 5% bonus in its usage. In example, if you have a mastery of 7, and your opponent 5, you are 10% better, and usually will get 1 extra hit every 10 attacks.

Form 2: Makashi(5pts) - Read the OGG article.

Form 3: Soresu(4pts) - Read the OGG article.

Form 4: Ataru(4pts)- Read the OGG article.

Form 5: Shien(4pts)- Read the OGG article.

Form 6: Niman(3pts)- Read the OGG article.

Form 10: Jar'kai(7pts)- Read the OGG article.

Form 7: Juyo/Vaapad (9pts.): Read OGG article.

Also, can upgrade the saber to:

Poleblade (5pts.)

Greatsaber (6pts.)

A Pair of Sabers (7pts.)

Certain skills upgrade upon knighthood, if enough force points are added. These skills are:

Force Push > Force Wave (5 force pts.)
Force Speed > Force Sprint (3 force pts.)
Force Persuade
> Jedi Mindtrick (3 force pts)/ Sith Mindcloud (3 force pts.)
Force Lightning > Force Storm (5 forcepts.)

Descriptions:

Force Wave: A skill much like push, this skill can fire a "wave" of force energy, and knock all people down in that general direction.

Force Sprint: A skill that exceeds Force Speed. Using all the energy in a quick burst, one is able even to outrun a blaster... for a short distance.

Mind trick: *waves hand* You will not fight me. Doesn't work on powerful minds. Can make people bend to do actions.

Sith Mindcloud: Much like the Jedi mindtrick, you can make weak minds do your bidding. But unlike the mindtrick, it is by confusion instead of clarity.

Force Storm: Even more powerful than lightning, this not only targets more than one opponent, but has more range, and covers a greater area than lightning.

Jedi Masters/Sith Lords: The pinnacle of the force users. Each has mastered their side of the force to an artform. Their skills have grown to match their knowledge, making them a force NOT to be contended with without proper knowledge or equiptment and a feeling of kamikaziness. They have been recognised by other masters as well, and usually inducted into the Jedi council, or Sith Commune.
In such, Masters:

-know all the moves of the force (excluding the opposite side).
-Can still take apprentices, or even help knights grow in strength.
-Can learn one ultimatum move, as proof of their superior knowledge.
-Have 17 points at their disposal.

Ultimatum Moves:

Protection Bubble: (7 force points) A neutral Force move, it involves creating a bubble of sorts, and pushing all objects away from the user in all directions for about 50 feet. Basically: Force push, except 360 degrees.

Force Protection: (8 force points) Another Neutral skill, the user may choose to put forth a combination of levitate, push, and absorb in a concentrated attack that works effectively against all incoming projectiles, much like a shield.

Jedi Lightning: (10 force points) The jedi learned how to use force lightning, and not as an aggressive attack either. While limited to use only in extreme circumstances, the jedi's lightning is green, and cannot kill. However, it will stun instantaneously, giving the jedi a chance to run or capture his opponent.

Battle Meditation: (9 force points) By meditating, the Jedi can literally "will" the battle to a certain way. This skill is rare to learn in the jedi ranks, but it is very powerful. So long as concentration is somewhat uninterrupted, it can pretty much win or lose a battle.

Drain life: (9 force points) A true sith skill, the sith lord can drain life out of his opponent, and convert it back to him. However, this does not work all of the time, and the target must be weakened to have any real effect as well.

Mind Shift: (10 force points) A skill used by sith lords who would rather use deception and trickery than direct confrontation. Sith Lords with this skill can literally seperate their spirtual entities including the force out of their corporal husk. They can either sit tight, not move their bodies, and basically etherally travel like ghosts to places, or remote control their bodies and not be sensed through unnatural means.

Once again, PM your information to a Mod. Wait for a PM of confirmation. All accepted bios will be displayed in the Imperial Personel thread.

If you need help setting up your bio, please ask me as well. However, I do expect you to have read this thread before asking. I will help you understand, I will not help you know. There is a difference.

Light and Dark. Night and Day. Black and White. Good and Evil. All are opposites, yet all are the same, bound together by the Force. But where is the line drawn between good and evil? Can someone do things so terrible, for a greater good?

Trey Feron had been from one end of the galaxy to another, from Corellia to Tatooine, from Tatooine to Arkania in search of some man named Labrynth. Often he had asked himself "Why?", and each time the forboding answer came. It wasn't unsettling because the words came from a holocron of a Jedi that Trey remembered hating, but because Trey couldn't remember exactly why he hated him.

Neb Wulf had been a Jedi, from what Trey could remember after sifting through all those images of killing, betraying, murdering and worse as Darth Imperius. For a man he had hated, Trey held a high level of respect for Neb, the only person who saw through the veil of hate that Imperius wore, and the only person who tried to stop what Trey had begun.

Trey looked down at the scrawled address on the holopad that the Bothan had written in the spaceport, and glanced around his surroundings once more. He was near a small house, with a garage of some sort near by, with a large pile of scrapmetal and what looked to be a piece of a 3PO unit's right arm behind it, surrounded by tundra.

Looking to Angel for reassurance, he walked up to the door and looked into the holocam.

"Err...is Labrynth available?"
PostPosted: Tue Feb 07, 2006 9:12 pm

While Angel and Trey travelled the galaxy, she had gathered parts to build a another lightsaber. She had a total of 4, Salvation and Punishment, the twin sabers she used before, Repetenace, the blue-bladed greatsaber she just made, and Neb's saber, which she never used, but kept with her in a secret pocket. She had trained all she could with her new saber, knowing its blade size would require her to handle it differently than her usual dual saber style. During the search for Labyrinth, Angel asked around for a Jedi named Damon, her long lost brother, whenever they were around anywere that seemed likely to have someone who might know about him. So far, nobody knows his whereabouts. It has now been a few months since the battle over Yavin took place, and their search for Labyrinth brings Angel and Trey to Arkania.

" This sure seems like prime real estate. " Angel said, looking around at all the scrap lying about. " I hope coming here was worth it, assuming this is even the right place. I don't mind seeing the galaxy, but going to a bunch of dead ends gets old quick. " She followed Trey up to the door of the nearby building, but let him do all the talking.

"Ops, Ship Status."
"Everything is operating at 100% Sir." The speaker, a svelt young red head dressed in blue and red with a rather large blaster pistol strapped to her leg, turned to face her superior. "All sections report that they are operating properly."
"And the fighter crews?"
The Operations Officer glanced out the bridge viewport. "Tyr'ruk is complaining about the lack of ordinance but Blade group is ready to fly any time."
"I will speak to him personaly about his over reliance on torpedoes. What about the rest of the fleet?"
"They're green too sir, though they're chomping at the bit."
The woman's superior shifted in his chair. "Typical. No patience. And what news from the advance force?"
She smiled and turned back to face him. "Easy pickings sir. Another DSA convoy is trying to sneak around the edge of the #173040 Star Cluster. I think we have them a bit afraid of us sir."
"Saltan valoramosa n telvalk mord. Assumption is the first step to a shallow grave Ms. Starwind. Now tell me what they have for defenses."
Rain Starwind sighed and rolled her eyes. "Two of those converted AA-12's they've been using. Fighter racks, turbos, the usual poor man's escort ships."
"And the Cargo?"
"Typical. laser gas, raw mats, and industrial machinery."
"Hmm. Very well then."
Cale Darksun stood up from his Captain's chair, dressed smartly in a black Naval style officer's uniform with a short cape. At his right hip was strapped his trusted DL-18, at his left was buckled a vibrocutlass. His sleeves were rolled up to reveal his pirate's tattoo on his right forearm, that of a dark sun. He brushed his hair out of his eyes and grinned confidently.
"Have all ships begin broadcasting Code Blackhole. Tell the initial strike group to make the jump to lightspeed. Once they have gone, then begin the proceedures for our group's jump as well. Blade team is to launch and jump deployed in their standard formation. With any luck our reputation should proceed us by the time we arrive and eberything should go smoothly."
Cale stepped towards the helm of of ship and gripped the controls, the grin on his face becoming a predatory smile. "Yo ho ho you scurvy barves. You best batten down the ports and hide your wallets, for Captain Darksun is about to pay you a visit."

Yavin Four ...

A lone figure sat atop one of the jungle moon's many ziggurat-like temples, built by a long vanished race known as the Massassi many millenia ago.
A light breeze gently swayed the raven black locks, now slightly wavy from being grown out for the past several months, giving her an even softer look, framing a delicate, almost doll-like porcelian white face.
Her name was Mordranna Celestia Brunhildt, the newest member of the Jedi Council. Half a lifetime ago, her name was reviled, and alternately earning her the nickname "the Sapphire Valkyrie". Still, her actions of the past few standard years have reversed the damage done. For, at one time, she was also an Imperial stormtrooper, of no low rank in the Empire's infamous 501st Legion.
Yavin had seen many battles. And, in recent history, she had been a participant, in one way or another ...

Sixteen years prior ...

Above Yavin space lumbered the ISD
Crusader, a testament to Imperial might and technology.
Inside the mighty craft, there was a meeting of two like minds, one seemingly incongruous with those of the average Imperial.
"Davin Felth reporting, Captain Brunhildt,"
"Enter," Mordranna bid the trooper.
The stormtrooper entered as bid, and had a seat when prompted.
"I read your report from Tatooine, Felth,"
"Yes, ma'am."
"You seem to have a problem with ... certain Imperial procedures, yes?"
"Yes, ma'am. It doesn't seem right. And, for some reason, you're the only officer I can trust,"
Mordranna's expression softened slightly at that. "Well, from your report, it seems we're of like mind. Honestly ... firing upon unarmed civilians! What was the captain of your squad thinking?"
"I don't know, ma'am,"
"And ... you fired upon your captain. That's munity ..."
"Yes, ma'am," Felth replied.
"That's treason," Mordranna countered. She gave him an icy glare. "Need I remind you the penalty for such?"
"No, ma'am."
"Good," Mordranna finished. She then retained her hard glare for a moment, before taking a relaxed expression. "Now ... just between us, this never happened. Not this meeting between us, or anything. And, between us, he got what he deserved. We'll say that the smuggler got the late captain. If there's one thing in this Empire I cannot abide, it's bullying, and abusing power."
Davin Felth raised a hand.
"Yes?"
"I'd like to fight for the Rebels. To defect," Felth said.
"I see," Mordranna replied.
"You're not going to stop me?" Felth asked, puzzledly.
"No." Mordranna simply answered. "However, I feel obligated to warn you that we may face each other on opposite sides,"
"You're not coming?"
"I ... don't know." Mordranan softly conceded. "I'd like to think that I can make a difference in this Empire."
Davin Felth merely saluted her. "I wish you well, Captain,"
Mordranna saluted in kind. "And to you. I hope we shall meet again, in a more peaceful galaxy,"

Now, that was quite a time! Mordranna mused, as her thoughts returned to the present. Unseemly though it was, she had on a stormtrooper's belt, the stark coldness contrasting with the soft white gown she wore. She gripped a metallic black and silver handle, and depressed a switch, bringing a bright sky blue blade of light to life.
"To you, Davin Felth. Clear skies, wherever you are," she said in tribute, holding the blue blade aloft. With that, she deactivated the blue blade, and set to climb down the ziggurat, making her way to the Praxeum, and news of a padawan she was scheduled to train, as per Master Skywalker's request.

At the activation response of a possible unknown, a droid eye popped out of the wall, as various noises erupted from it, picking the right language.

It replied to the newcomer, getting a good look.

But before anything could answer, the door opened up, and a pair of large Yakas stepped out, carrying a piece of an engine that came from a Belbullab-22 starfighter, and seemed to glare at the newcomers, before hauling the engine away.

Mustafar

Drako sat floating in the center of a large island in lava. His mind had time to rest. Time to plot. Time to plan his uprising. His hand above his head shooting out bolts of lightining now and then. The lava bursting from the shots.

My armies are ready....my body is at its peek. My force could not be stronger..... But Chidee...... His dark side.... I hope the months of beatings has changed him. Novara.......

Drako reached to his belt and tapped his comm.

" Novara. Meet me in landing bay 23, gate 3. " With that Drakos feet touched the ground and got to one knee. Using the force he shot up back onto his skiff about 300 feet in the air. The droid waited for orders.

" Landing bay 23, gate 3. " The skiff took off.

A Band of starships slowly drifted around the rim of a massive gravity well, enroute from Mustafar to Geonosis. The gravity well mentioned just happened to be a star cluster, a navigational hazard for anyone dumb enough to try and jump through it. And so, rather than take the stupid aproach, the ships were going the traditional route around it.
The Convoy consisted of a handful of light and medium freighters of varying make and model as well as seven lumbering AA-12 bulk haulers. The Haulers belonged to a shipping firm out of Neimodia, all save for one that belonged to an independant company. The smaller vessels either were independant merchants and courier vessels unafiliated with the big ships. But the one thing that kept this convoy together was the general rule of thumb when delivering cargo in the outer rim: Saftey in numbers.
Pirates, rival buisness companies, and hostile governments all posesed a threat out on the trade routes on the rim, and the surest way to combat this threat, was to travel in numbers they couldn't handle. At the very least, it gave the raiders more targets to pick from, thus decreasing the chances of getting caught.

As the ships moved leisurely down the route, a pair of vessels jumped out of hyperspace of their port side: a blood red YZ-775 and a Light Corvette with the blazing claw of piracy stretched across her hull. The newcomers' weapons were hot and their shields were up, ready for a fight. The two fired a pair of warning shots across the bow of the lead AA and they waited for a surrender from the convoy leader.
They didn't get one.

The First and Second AA-12's opened their bays and upgraded droid Trifighters, two squadrons worth, bustled out of the big ships and made beelines for the two pirate ships as the hangar freighters tried to lock on them with their main guns.
The two pirate vessels split away from each other and immediately the light corvette erupted in a hail of quad laser fire, bathing the droids in a rain of scorching red death. seven trifighters were instantly destroyed in the accurate fire and the droids broke formation to keep from getting mauled any worse. As they peeled off, the multiple quad turrets of the Light Corvette began tracking them and picking them off.

Meanwhile, the nimble Yz had danced into the freighter convoy and opened up on a Barloz class transport with its Ion Cannon. The Barloz returned fire with its own guns but barely made a dent against the raider's shields. Soon the Raider had crippled the Barloz and was about to move on to a fresh target when a pair of trifighters popped up over the nearest AA-12 and blazed away with their heavy lazers. The Yz flitted away, returning fire as it sought cover darting among the transports.

As this was going on, the escort craft had turned themselves to the point they could fire a broadside at the pirate gunship and took the shot. Angry green bolts lit up the sky around the corvette and it took evasive action, Firing back with its own turbos and moving out of the big ships field of fire, taking several hits as it pulled back. Despite the loss of the Barloz and almost half their compliment of fighters, the Escort ships were confident that the Raiders had bitten off more than they could chew.

Then, directly above the convoy, the rest of the pirates emegered from lightspeed.
A Pitch black Y-head corvette, accompanied by a flight of A-wings, a B-wing and a Vt-49 Decimator Immediately joined the fray, the big ship's weapons pounding away at the escort ships with frightening ferocity as the starfighters split off to do battle with the lesser ships of the convoy.
The Independant AA-12 then began firing Ion blasts at the closest heavy hauler. Once its shields were down, the pirate ship pulled up alongside the defensless freighter. Boarders emerged from the airlocks of the raider and started crossing over to their prey with the aid of magnetic grapling devices. Cutting holes into the ship with detonite tape and blast torches, they forced their way into the bridge and subdued the crew.
A Pair of yt model transports, taking advantage of the confusion the pirate raid was sowing, revealed their true colors and ionized the one light freighter that was dumb enough to stick around when the shooting started. One, a yt-2400 moved to secure the Ghrotic 720 they had paralized while its conterpart, a Yt1-300 moved to board the helpess Barloz.
The Two initial pirate ships, now free of the fighter threat thanks to the A-wings, trained their guns on the ecort ships and pelted them with fire. The Escort ships, unable to return fire, were soon floating dead in space, befret of engines, shields, or defenses of any kind and left to watch as the Pirates turned their attention to the last three AA-12s.
Having lost three of their comrades to the raiders, the remaining super haulers chose to instead abandon ship rather than face the wrath of pirates coming down from an addrenalin high. Escape pods were launched but the pirates didn't bother going after them, contenting themselves with the now abandoned ships.
Crews were transfered over to the captured vessels and what vessels couldn't be moved were instead towed by the larger ships. In a matter of minutes the Pirates jumped to light with their prizes.
The derelict escort ships were left to fend for themselves, surrounded by the shattered remains of twenty four tridroids and whatever debrie had been blasted off their own ships.

Novara was working on Jack when he was called.

" Yes Drako......Come on Jack. Lets go see what Drako is mad about now. "

" Yes Master Nova. "

" Master Nova.....I like that. " Novara was on the far side of Mustafar. He walked to his personal landing bay for his new and VERY high priced toy, the Toga.

Novara fired up the main engines and lifted up.

" You ready? "

" Afirmitive. " The Toge blasted forward and both its riders were pushed back into there seats.

Novara flew over the handers and looked for the hanger Drako was at.

" Gate 4, this is Commander Novara....Nova. Yeah.... Clear to land?"

".........Commander Nova?.....Clear. "

Novara took the Toga down and landed. He and Jack unbuckled and got out. Novara looked around and waited.

The skitt Drako sat in pulled up to Novaras new ship and came to a stop. Drako slowly got out.

" Hrmm.... I see you have gotten a liking to your new toy..... I warn you. I know you piloting skills are top of the line..... But i will kill you if any thing happends to that ship. We had to take three Munificent-class star frigate off the make list to get that thing..... THREE!!! "

Drako walked up to Novara.

" We must talk......In private. Call my learners. " Drako walked up to PR1M3.

" PR1M3.....I have a job for you. I need my lead fleet ready. Go and make it happen. "

" As you wish. " PR1M3 took off and headed for the fleets position.

Drako walked over to where the Arcane sat. The large ship was still being worked on. He walked to main ramp and walked in.
