This is the lowest point within the entire city. This was made in secret and the entrance is through several flights of stairs that are large enough to fit a baby dragon.
Legends say that this place used to be where the first attempt to create a Homunculus was done. It apparently failed to do so and all over the flights of stairs you can see etchings carvings and other symbols.
The bottom floor is where you will find the king/queen of this place.

The place is pretty big so she asked one of the servants to find her way to just wait for Gregory or if he's already here.
The servants said he's not here but he well guild Pix and Tsubasa into the room where they can wait for them. Once the made it to the room, instead of taking a seat, Pix placed the big fluffy thing that's tied up on the floor and sat on it, like a beanbag. "Looks like we have to wait for Gregory for a bit." Feather nodded, quiet for once as she tried to figure out what the white furry thing Pix was sitting on was. Finally, the girl asked, "Um, Pix, what are you sitting on?". Her voice was purely one of curiosity, and emotion that was mimicked by her face. She really couldn't make heads or tails of the object, and she had seen a lot of stuff while travelling with her family.

Pix knows that Tsubasa didn't like hurting any living things, like the time we had to face that's giant dragon. Would she be very said that knows she's sitting on a dead body part from a creature? Pix only kept with her because the fur was so think, it blokes bullets and can't be cut, witch would be useful from battle. She just have to do some changes on the tail then caring it the hole thing but she doesn't know what, yet. At first she would tell her, but mite as will tell her know since their in the palace."It's a Demon Hound's tail. The crazy beast tried to chase me all over the place, so after it been defeated, I took his tail." Pix answered her question, that she probably wouldn't like.

Feather, who had been petting the fur, wondering what kind of creature it was sheared from and from what kind of plant it was made, immediately drew her hand back. "A-a tail?" the girl clarified with a look of horror on her face, hoping that she hadn't heard right. Then, she realized, wrongly even though she hoped it was right, "Oh, you mean you took the fur from the tail, right?". It was bad enough to kill an animal, but if the demon hound had really been chasing Pix all over the place, then Feather knew that there was probably little that could be done. However, to actually take the tail of a creature and sit on it so nonchalantly, even if it was dead, something like that seemed horrible to the small girl. It was kind of like one of those grotesque displays of stuffed animal heads by hunters. Shearing off fur from an animal, even if it was dead, was one thing. Sora was about to cry, it was obvious. "H-how could you?" the girl asked, tears starting to form in the corners of her eyes, "Was it chasing you after you… did… you know what to it. I-I mean, I don't like what y-you did to it, but I guess it had… I guess it wasn't… I guess you couldn't avoid it. Still, af-after you did that, couldn't you take the time to just take the fur? It's bad enough that you k-… did what you did…." By the time she finished what she was saying, the girl's tears were streaming down her eyes fully. It didn't seem right that the demon hound had to suffer getting a limb cut off even after it died. Sure, if the limb was for food it would have been alright, but the only thing needed was the fur. All Pix needed to do was skin it and then leave the rest of the beast to rest in peace.

"I didn't want him dead too. At first I tried to tame him like other animals but it didn't went well... He tried kill me and I tried avowed him and fight back... In the end, I wasn't good enough to kill him, instead someone else did... I'm a biochemist, so I have a thing of "waist not, want not " kind a thing. His fur was the reason I had trouble with him, so I thought I can use it in some sort of protection since it could block bullets." Pix said to her, having Tsubasa's tears run down on her shirt wile patted her on the back, comforting her.

"But did you really have to cut off his entire tail?" the girl whimpered, "I can accept you… you… you needing to… put him to sleep, but you could have just skinned him, right?". The girl continued to cry; although, now she was working on slowing her flow of tears against their will. She rubbed her eyes with her hands, drying the tears even as they continued to fall down.

Of course it's easy to make a young girl cry, but she really getting really up set for this little thing. "My, this girl is such a cry baby." That voice returned in Pix's head again."She's not so bright. It's a stupid idea to leave something that violable behind, even to the bones. Like I always said, "time is money". I made a good chose choosing you when you see something violable, hehe." The voice giggled to Pix's head evilly. " SHUT UP, your not helping!" She yelled in her head to that voice. After that stupid talk gone in er head, she go's back where she was with Tsubasa. " You're right. I'm sorry I did something you didn't like me doing. But I had to keep moving, I was a bit afraid anther beast would come out from the darkness, the same way the Demon Hound came..." She said to her. Tsubasa simply nodded as she stifled the last of her tears. As upset as she was, the girl knew she couldn't dwell on how wrong it was to mutilate the demon hound even after it was dead. Besides, she could hear something in her friend's voice that sounded as if the older girl wanted the conversation to end. Feather might have been distressed, but her hearing was as sharp and just as ready to pick up hints as it normally was.
Finally, she pulled away from Pix and muttered a quiet, "I'm sorry."

Arete used the memory he'd received from the other Pronta students to locate the secret palace. He whistled pleasantly as he traveled down the stairs, but dragged out the last note as the palace finally came in sight. It was enormous, so much so that he almost believed the place was built more for a dragon than a king. That must've been the reason why it was located in the lowest part of the city. Any place higher would've been too noticeable. "Wow......this is gonna be fun." Arete said to himself with a mischievious grin. His thief-like nature was starting to finally show. As he approached the entrance, Arete shape-shifted into none other than Gregory. After all the servants might've been suspicious of anyone else, right? He smirked as he casually passed through the halls of the palace in disguise.

Sora was still on Arete's shoulder, even as he shapeshifted into Gregory, and wondered what in the world the musician wanted to do in the palace. He might have heard that Pix, Feather, and Gregory would talk about some private matters in this building, but it wasn't like Gregory was at the palace yet. That much he should have known simply because he was at the training grounds. Could he have been here to spy or steal something? {Tsubasa,} the little creature contacted his summoner, quickly explaining the situation to her.
Feather, meanwhile, had just finished crying and was waiting for a response from Pix when Sora contacted her. {Umm…,} was the girl's clueless response as she finished drying her face, not knowing what to do with the situation at hand. She had placed Sora with Arete mainly to keep him from sneaking up on their meeting. How? The girl really didn't exactly think about that part.
Sora mentally sighed, already used to this kind of stuff from his summoner, as he took the situation into his own hands as best as he could. The little creature tugged at Arete's ear in his naturally cute way while voicing out a curious, "Nyu?".
Meanwhile, Tsubasa did the only thing she could think of doing and suggested, seemingly to break the uneasy silence, "Umm, Pix. You know, it might be a while until Gregory comes. Maybe we should go and explore the palace a bit?". On her lips, there was a weak smile, as if the girl was trying to make an effort to be happy even as she held back her tears.

"Nyu?" Arete repeated the sound back to the creature on his shoulder. "Well I guess I can see why you might be wondering what I'm doing. I mean the king did just do me a favor by promoting me, but still it was just a simple exchange, right? He promoted me and in return I promised not to hurt any of Pronta's people. It was a deal, thats all. Its not like I owe him or anything, and stealing never had anything to do with our deal, so I'm still honoring it. I'm....an honest thief?" he explained to Sora and then laughed. Luckily none of the servants were around to notice his voice had changed from Gregory's. "As if there are such things. Anyways, where's the treasure room? There has to be a place in this great big building that holds all of this city's valuables right?" he asked the cute creature as he continued wandering down the halls, only stopping periodically to glance into random rooms. So far he'd already located a library, a kitchen, and what appeared to be something of a living room, neither of which had any visable windows due to the palace's underground nature. However, there were plenty of large, flowing air vents located around the ceilings. Being underground meant that the air had to be constantly circulated, so of course the palace would be filled with air ducts. Arete noted these in case he'd need to make a quick escape.

Even tho that finally stopped, Tsubasa still looked sad. "Sure... What ever that will make you better." Pix answered her question. It seam boring to walk around the palace on their own, since both of Pix and Tsubasa can get lost.
