How many people can join: No limit
Captain Planet!
Recruit people to cosplay the elements that make up Captain Planet (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Heart), and once they do someone can create a Captain Planet cosplay xD
Maybe it could be a contest. People would sign up to be Captain, and they have to recruit five people to play the elements, take a picture together in Towns or zOMG! and turn it in first to win a big prize! Extra credit would be to get someone to cosplay pollution xD

Also, the banner images don't show up for me, Ihave to copy and paste the img url into my browser to view them, is this a setting in Gaia that I need to change?

I believe so, to accept all of them, yeah. I believe that setting should only be dangerous if you frequent the GD. Since I made my xanga account back in maybe 2005, I didn't feel like making a second one simply because Gaia doesn't accept it. stare
Costume+roleplaying = cosplaying! I guess they wouldn't too much have to roleplay as they would just have to take a pic, but yeah.
Like right now, I'm cosplaying a scene of arson or something.

Here's an idea! I just thought of this right now since my area's fair is coming up and I was thinking it'd be fun to have a Gaia Carnival. I haven't thought it completely through but I was thinking the winner of each event gets a prize and we have a few random pixel items that they can buy from a vendor just for fun with gold/tickets/whatever we decide. People in the guild will be open to more games then people who are not in the guild. I think this event will be a little difficult to run since you need a few people competing for each event but I also want it to be games that people don't have to be on for a certain time for. Kinda' like tekteks, they submit their work and hang around the thread then like a week later the winner is announced, etc.

How many people can join: As many as we can get. Guildees will have special options in the events but non-guildies will be able to join and do a little less as well.

Here's an idea! Secret Santa! I wasn't sure if you guys were interested in doing this, if not I may host it myself and attach the guild to it to get people into it (if you let me). Basically, it'll be your typical secret santa but it'll be open to all Gaians. We do a VERY strict search on each Gaian to make sure that hopefully they wont scam. And the gold amount for the item will be about 10-15k, I think.

Here's an idea!
I said this in my "what I want to do for my birthday" question but it's just an idea I like. razz A herd of ponies on Gold Beach! Everyone wears the "Starmony: I AM Starmony" pose and goes about their business on Gold Beach for a while, and it's come and go as you please. smile That particular item is a free giveaway so anyone can do it!

"Time Warp" in the forums! Remember the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Everyone dresses up in glittery clothes and masks (I can pull up refs if you need them) and hijacks an appropriate thread for a Time Warp. ...essentially just everyone takes a line and does it in order. ^^; Can be done on its own thread if we want to be polite.

Here's an idea!
Go to Otami Ruins (or anywhere else with an instance), suppress to CL 1.0, and get dazed. Continue getting dazed, walking around, just not begging for defib. See how often you can get defibbed, and once people catch on, see how long you can go WITHOUT getting defibbed.
