Well, by the looks of things, no Town Battle again (boooooooooooooo! >: | ), but I did get this in a Gaia Newsletter just now: Gaia 9 Action News - August 2010 Issue Our annual Summer Event promises to be bigger than ever this year. Get ready, because a long, arduous journey to the far reaches of Gaia is about to begin. Learn MoreBased on the link's hints, we're playing something along the lines of 'Oregon Trail'.

And I was thinking they weren't going to do one. Should we wear our colors to represent Barton anyway?

I wouldn't mind. I'm actually trying to put together a summer Barton look (got the Barton bat & shirt, and I'm trying to add a bit more to it. I'm thinking it needs... MOAR VUVUZELA! BBBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!).

I was such a beast at that game. I never lost anyone and I had more than enough supplies to last me the whole trail.
And the Barton Scout is here! Boink!

I totally schooled my mom at The Oregon Trail. She played it once and lost everyone in her party. I sat down to play it and got everyone across safely, first try.
(Secret: Every time someone is sick or injured, take a day or two's rest and double rations until they recover. Bingo! Nobody dies.)

I remember playing that once...no one died, but I was on easy mode. Civilization 2, though...I could never beat that game.
And yeah, just about everyone misses the Games. We really need to ask Gaia if we could have one of those for Christmas at least.

I don't think I remember the Christmas event having games, only the buying whatever & giving said items to whoever.

Well, they need to do something like that for Christmas to make up for what they done this summer. Because right now all we're doing is picking up stickers.

Isn't the Halloween event usually some sort of epic battle? (let's hope that this year's isn't glitched like last time. stare )

Based on the four most recent mini-comics, the 'teams' we can expect to choose from are Sam, Diedrich, Louie and Carl it seems.
If that is the case, which one can be considered the 'Barton' one? I know that Louie (Durem) and Sam (Aekea) aren't it, so that leaves Diedrich and Carl (a rabbit-or is it grunny- and a elk). Or is this like the summer camp one where each team doesn't have the least bit to do with any town?

I think it has nothing to do with the towns.
