Once a proud, powerful and independent nation state known for its peoples' honor and mystique, after the Wutai War against the Shinra Electric Power Company it fell to serving as a simple tourist attraction and resort, no longer serving as a global power. At the time Wutai was the last area on the Planet which remained free of Shin-Ra's control, and fiercely defended its independence. Although initially putting up a good fight, they could not stand against the might of SOLDIER and were forced into submission with the war, and Wutai's independence, officially ending with the successful capture of Fort Tamblin by Shin-Ra forces.

The nation's leader, Godo Kisaragi, was forced to sign an edict; banning the use of Materia so as to ensure that the nation never obtained the power to confront Shin-Ra again, and the nation soon became a mere tourist location.
However, despite the war being over many Wutai forces continued to rebel; joining other rebellion groups in making repeated attempts against Shin-Ra however time and again they were thwarted by SOLDIER and Turk operatives until their eventual suppression around 0001.

The town of Wutai is located to the north of the continent at a forest and river junction at the foot of the Da Chao Mountain. While still a resort town, the use of materia is no longer banned. As Wutai has gained its independance once again, its is slowly regaining its old glory. Many new building have sprung up around the orginal villiage, adding to its size, but it remains fairly simple.

His thoughts were interrupted by a cheery jingle, signaling the fact that his wife had changed his ringtone again. With an amused smirk, he brought the phone to his ear,"Hello, Kaia. Where's your mother?"

Sephiroth couldn't help but laugh when he was mistaken for someone with a much higher voice. He would have to get Kaia a new phone,"No, though I wouldn't mind knowing how he is doing. This is Sephiroth."

To his relief, it seemed like his request had calmed Zack down,"Don't let my daughter bully you into anything else...I'm sure I'm not the first person you wanted to talk to."

He snapped the phone closed and started back toward his home in town, mulling over the past for a moment. Teal eyes looked back over the ocean toward Midgard before turning to the path to home.

Shortly after Yuffie and Kaia arrived at there home town of Wutai, that loud obnoxious helicopter drew close. It probably wasn't something some of the villagers were all that used to, with it being such a peaceful and quiet little town.

Moments after it had arrived, the chopper came to rest down on the ground, allowing for everyone to exit while she powered down.

"Wow! Look at this place! " Aerith was ecstatic. It was even more beautiful then she imagined. She began to head inside, Lucrecia following behind.

Sephriea glanced back at Elena and Zack, before proceeding to follow her mother and grandmother, all the while wondering if they were going to be stopped at the entrance.
The helicopter blades had came to a complete stop, and all was quiet again.She found herself sitting against the bottom railing of her chopper and thinking. It was as though she was to nervous to even go inside. The last time she was here with Yuffie, she remembered herself and Yuffie in a rather embarrassing situation up in the mountains, and Cloud and the Turks having to save the both of them.

Aerith shook her head softly to Yuffies kind offering. "Do they perhaps serve Ice water? And I am sure she was coming along. She might of been making sure the helicopter was safe. " She felt silly, but drinking wasn't one of her things.

Lucrecia had to think about it. She too wasn't one to drink, but she also didn't want to be rude to her new daughter in law and refuse. "I'm sorry..I think I will pass on the Sake. I'll have what Aerith requested if that is alright?"


Sephriea shrugged at Yuffie. She probably wouldn't like it anyway! "I'm going to explore..." She looked to Yuffie for the permission to look around the new surroundings.

"Alright then," she motioned to the bartender to cancel the order and just held up two fingers and motioned to the women. "Well, what do you want to do first? Oh and do you mind staying at my house? We have plenty of room, don't worry about that."

Meanwhile, Kaia was practically pulling the man in black, who only seemed amused at his daughter's enthusiasm. He of course wouldn't be hurried, no matter how much Kaia urged. It made for a comical scene, and maybe a bit bizarre to those who knew who he was.
