``Looks can be Deceiving
Personality: He holds a bitter resentment for his mother, who saw him as the cause of all of her problems, and could do nothing right, ever. Any self esteem or self worth that he has, is a result from his year on the streets where it was kill or be killed essentially. He learned quickly how to fight, run and to just stay one step ahead of danger. Once he came to camp and realized that the whole idea of Hades being his real father wasn't some cruel joke or insane excuse for his mother to be finally rid of him, he lost all fear of death. In his mind if death came for him, it would do nothing more than bring him closer to his father, which he hoped would bring him some sense of love and affection, not that he really understands what either of those are, never having been shown any by his mother or family. The best thing in his life was to be thrown out of the house, even though he was in constant danger, he didn't have his mother constantly beating him down as being something unworthy of life.
While he is certainly better off at camp than he had been at home, he still keep his emotions locked up tight behind a facade of detachment and cruelty. During his particularly low moments he revels in tormenting creatures he sees as beneath him, but aches emotionally afterward feeling like he is turning into his mother. At his worst he can flying into a near blackout rage with little memory of what he's done or why he's done it. At his best, he'll defend the people who manage to break past the facade into his core being, with every fiber of his being, even if it means laying down his life for theirs. There are very few people that actually manage to break past the facade and barriers he has built to protect himself from feeling vulnerable, mainly being his siblings and others who have known true pain and hatred in their lives.
Likes: Some of the few pleasures he allows himself is his pride in his swordsmanship and chariot driving.
Dislikes: Kira dislikes most people he see, with very few exceptions. He hates it when people try to cheer him up when he feels like nothing is wrong with him.
Favorite Camp Activity: He enjoys the Chariot Races, Capture the Flag and other Arena activities, simply because he enjoys beating other people up when he can get away with it. Though he would never tell another living soul this, but he enjoys the peace and serenity of tending the pomegranate trees in the woods, as they give him the only true sense of home he has ever had. His most favorite activity is the field trips to Olympus on the Winter Solstice, where he gets to see his father face to face, even though they have little to say to each other.

Kira was born to Angelica Setson, who was kicked out of her family home after becoming Pregnant with Hades' child, and she resented her son for that very fact. For His whole life, if there was ever anything wrong, Angelica would blame it on Kira, and it got even worse once he turned 13 and was claimed by Hades as his son. On the day of his 13th birthday, Angelica and Kira had a particularly vicious argument, a Black Corinthian Helmet appeared over Kira’s head, Angelica was furious because she believed Hades had taken Kira’s side in the argument and through Kira out of the house forever.
His being kicked out of the House was perhaps the best thing to ever happen to him. He was finally free of his mother's toxic influence, despite the near constant hunger and danger that follow demi-gods, he was the closest thing he could consider to being happy. He learned to fight for everything he wanted and needed to stay alive. One day he saved a satyr from certain death, the satyr helped guide Kira to Camp Half-Blood, where he was welcomed without question.
