No I'm kidding. ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol. It was designed by Browning to go with the 1911, based off the 45. LC (long colt) round. In terms of power and diameter, 45. ACP is almost identical to 45. LC, the only difference being that it is not rimmed, and is shorter. And of course the whole purpose for these changes is so that it would feed better in an automatic.
