So I'm sure a lot of you are curious on what the new Bioshock 3 is going to be about.
Well first we are going back into time. 1912 to be exact. This city is build before Rapture was created.
Synopsis
BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter currently in development at Irrational Games, the studio behind the original BioShock (which sold over 4 million units worldwide). Set in 1912, BioShock Infinite introduces an entirely new narrative and gameplay experience that lifts players out of the familiar confines of Rapture and rockets them to Columbia, an immense city in the sky.
Former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt has been sent to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman imprisoned in Columbia since childhood. Booker develops a relationship with Elizabeth, augmenting his abilities with hers so the pair may escape from a city that is literally falling from the sky. DeWitt must learn to fight foes in high-speed Sky-Line battles, engage in combat both indoors and amongst the clouds, and harness the power of dozens of new weapons and abilities.

Lol. I saw the trailer for this game yesterday.Yea, the city is called Columbia. The city was made by the American Governement to express technological advances, art, and propaganda. The game trailer makes the game look spectacular. The fact that they would show that Big Daddy statue in the fishbowl shows that it's like a referance to Bioshock. Many people believe that Andrew Ryan has something to do with Columbia. But, remember, Andrew Ryan didn't agree with the American Government, he had his own ideals..So, will just have to wait and see.

I just watched the trailer. I must say, it looks amazing! But I have a few personal issues with it. Namely the whole being in the air thing. I get really nauseous playing games that feature the player being really high up, especially first-person games. sweatdrop I can't help but think this game is going to make me sick regardless if I like it or not.

What was so wrong with rapture that you had to move the game to the sky? other than the crazed splicers, occasional flooding, lunatics, and demonic little girls?

If the city is before Rapture, that means it is before the discovery of ADAM. So........No plasmids? =| Well this took away playing as a big sister or big daddy for sure also. Are they even called big daddies? =( Is this even a bioshock game? No little sisters, no Adam, no splicers, no plasmids. I'm not going to make any big remarks about the game until we play it, but can it be called bioshock?

Andrew Ryan created rapture because he didnt like the ideals of america right? So maybe he was in Columbia and didn't agree with it so he left and made Rapture? To get away from the ideals of the entire world?

Kinda like the classic "This does Everything!" potions that travelling "apothecaries" would sell. Looks pretty cool. ^^
