Talk about a win-win situation for everyone!

> Progressive solutions for saving the environment and lowering carbon footprints for the tree huggers.
> Product that pays for itself (and therefor MORE MONEYZ) and energy made in A-MER-icuh for the USA-chanting capitalists.
> More jobs, more energy, and better, cleaner source of energy for everyone.

Super awesome idea that should be implemented to all US highways as soon as possible.

Would be cool. There are lots of problems to solve, aside from cost, which is a major problem at this point.

Oh I heard something similar to this. There was a student who had made a smart side walk, very similar to this. It collected sun, sending power, had LEDs and responded to weight, though her's (I think it was a female student) was more for play and advertising companies loved the idea of putting ads into it. 9-9

Glare for the road ways will most definitely be an issue, and traction like they mentioned, particularly during rain storms and snow...and a snow plows.
