The sound of the gentle sloshing caused by golden hooves through water, was relaxing to Helberd's ears while he trotted through the stream. Light shimmered down from in between the treetops, casting small squares of light patterned on the stream, grass, and Helberd himself. Heat was shifting through the air, but there was also a bite of chill which lessened the feel of heat on his short fur. The golden buck lifted his head, and continued to wade through the water, breaking out of the trees and into an area where he could see the edge of the water, as well as the mountains - off to the side.
He wondered distantly if perhaps he would meet anyone today. Lately Helberd had been wondering over the lands, exploring the areas and getting to know the layout. He'd become quite familiar with them and now he want to look for some company. Hopefully, he found find somebody. Being alone, traveling alone wasn't even as peaceful as most would think. Traveling alone ment having no one to speak to, no one to share your thoughts with, and being genuinely alone. Helberd, being a very people oriented person, had always wanted his own herd, his own place to belong -He wanted a family. With his antlers held high, he lept out of the water and started off towards the open space. The male continued his thoughts - A family would take a lon time to build, but Helberd still supposed that a friend would be something he could hopefully attain quickly. He'd met a few Soquili and Ceyreni, but none of them he really....connected with.
Heaving a sigh, Helberd shook his head and started off.
