The sound of the gentle sloshing caused by golden hooves through water, was relaxing to Helberd's ears while he trotted through the stream. Light shimmered down from in between the treetops, casting small squares of light patterned on the stream, grass, and Helberd himself. Heat was shifting through the air, but there was also a bite of chill which lessened the feel of heat on his short fur. The golden buck lifted his head, and continued to wade through the water, breaking out of the trees and into an area where he could see the edge of the water, as well as the mountains - off to the side.

He wondered distantly if perhaps he would meet anyone today. Lately Helberd had been wondering over the lands, exploring the areas and getting to know the layout. He'd become quite familiar with them and now he want to look for some company. Hopefully, he found find somebody. Being alone, traveling alone wasn't even as peaceful as most would think. Traveling alone ment having no one to speak to, no one to share your thoughts with, and being genuinely alone. Helberd, being a very people oriented person, had always wanted his own herd, his own place to belong -He wanted a family. With his antlers held high, he lept out of the water and started off towards the open space. The male continued his thoughts - A family would take a lon time to build, but Helberd still supposed that a friend would be something he could hopefully attain quickly. He'd met a few Soquili and Ceyreni, but none of them he really....connected with.

Heaving a sigh, Helberd shook his head and started off.

Be safe, my heart...

Wise and loving words from her parents had sent the large femme off to a beautiful start of a fruitful journey, setting off for the first time completely unaccompanied out into the vast world which was these native lands. Escaping the surreal world of the rain forest of the far west, deep into the woodlands with mighty oak growing tall was where the mare decided to stop for a quick drink. Leaving her scroll at home so she would not lose it in her travels, long and sturdy neck arched down to touch parched lips to the cool waters. Drinking up her fill of the delicious stream, Subira was left alone for a few moments in her thoughts.

For one as large as she, there was concern that she stuck out like a sore thumb around her earthy and otherwise disperse surroundings. Soon she would be entering the prairie lands where it would be just her and the golden sea, watched over by the cerulean skies above. "At least....it is clear." Soft spoken vocals whispered out, a smile stretching across her marked muzzle as she was indeed blessed with mild weather on such a journeyful morning thus far.

Dropping heavy hooves into the slow current as the chill of the spring which cooled her mouth nipped at the small bits of flesh from her lifted hair as she walked across the bed to the other side. It was not far till the shadows cast by the canopy of trees above gave way to the open plains, bright sun warming her back and bringing that near ever present smile stretching further onto her lips. However, peaceful solitude was soon broken when she noticed down on her right a stallion breaking through the tree line as well. Golden antlers nearly sparkled in the sun, or was that jewelry? None the less, while matching the hue of the long grasses he was in fact quite a sight to be seen.

Twisting her ears slightly back as a wave of timidness washed over her prior confidence, the young mare was left wondering if she should say something to the Cerynei; able to pick out his species from her father's teaching.

Perhaps....it be best to continue on...

Whilst twisting his head from side to side to get a better survey of the land he spotted the large female. A quick thought that she may be taller than him, even, quickly passed through his head but he quickly dismissed it. She was peculiar looking with her bright markings and gold jewelry, but it just added to the unusual beauty about her. With one more passing look he tossed a quick look over his shoulder to the expanse of land behind him, then looked back at her and trotted forward with no more than a toss of his head and one bright smile.

"Hello There, Miss" The clouds over head were thick and fluffy but far enough apart that they still aloud the sun to be spilled across the two making both his antlers and her gold jewelry to sparkle marvelously. "Not meaning to be rude, ma'am, but you seem to be a bit lost?" He lifted his head a bit but kept his eyes trained on her. He certainly ment it as a question as her expression did seem a bit lost a moment ago, but she could have just been as well as lost in thought. "If not, then I sincerely apologize. I tend to have my curiosity get the best of me."
