Riley Ashford is a very average, though rather loud boy. Unfortunately for him his normal life is turned upside down and things only seem to get worse until the final conclusion.
It started off with Marcus Addison, and Roi Bara. His two childhood friends. He was especially close with Roi in a different way, though never confesses to her in fear on being rejected and losing her all together. As time passes he soon dates a girl from school he had also made friends with, Samii Takahondi. But with out realizing it, he was also pushing Roi away unintentionally. In the end him and Samii get married and later on have three children.
Later on the road, Roi starts showing up again. And when she does she's rather cold and mean towards Riley, which he doesn't understand. Fed up with it he confronts her about her attitude, it's then when she confesses that she loved him. Riley who deep down still had feelings as well, then decided to make it up to her by having one fake date. Which for them ended up in a one night stand.
Little known to them that there was a person that saw this happen, a man named Toku Prescott. He also too holds Riley's wedding ring hostage, and forces the two to do what he says. And in return he'll stay quite and give him back the ring. After a series of events, Riley quickly falls into a state of depression, which requires pills. Soon after Roi and Riley stop the affair and everything is quite for the time being.
Years later, Roi comes up to Riley to declare that her youngest daughter, Mei, is actually not her husband Ty's child. But really Riley's. Riley though in shock to only know this now, quickly grows close with the young girl, she even calls him 'Papa'.
Somehow or another Toku finds out about this, and threatens Riley about it. Riley, not taking him seriously brushes him off and goes on. But soon after, he hears of how Mei was murdered. And was found in the woods of the park him and Roi have much history with.

Though in all reality these bad doings were all done by Riley himself. There is no Toku, or to be more precise Riley IS Toku. Though there was a Toku at one point in time, he was the man who raped Riley's wife when they were younger. This left a lasting impression on Riley for the rest of his life. Eventually building up to making 'Toku' into a person with every horrible trait you can think of, someone for him to blame for everything that happens including his own actions.
Sense this is through Riley's point of view, everything with Toku in it with just a delusion created by him. While he himself was really carrying out all the bad things, which even includes his murdering his daughter Mei. This other side of Riley, is very cold and underhanded, and not afraid to take care of anything that gets in this way. And also he has an almost creepy attachment to Roi, to the point of willing to do anything for her.
Later on him and Roi finally decided to break away from their family's and run away together. Though doubt fills his head as Roi leaves him real fast to get things together. He fears that she'll just go back to her 'real' family. This is his breaking point, as well in finally realizing that everything is his doing. Succumbing to it, his other personality takes over permanently.
He then kidnaps Roi and his old wife Samii, and then proceeds to kill everyone that is 'in his way'. Which includes his own children with Samii, Roi's husband, her child and the family that the girl was staying with.
Finally it comes to the end, when ironically, Marcus who is now a cop at this point in time, finds where they are. He then shoots Riley, killing him, fearing that he was going to hurt Roi.
